What You Can Expect

As the Digital & Control System Project Manager for ENGIE’s North America, you will be apart of a crucial role in comprehending ENGIE’s existing contracts and spearheading the deployment of digital platforms, upgrade of controls systems, maintenance excellence, cybersecurity or extension of operational technology (OT) networks. Everyday, you will report to the Applications Management Director to assist with contract and concession digital & IT compliance, as well as  collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion within the specified budget and timeline. Ideally, this person will be experienced in all aspects  of operations, maintenance, and have extensive technical expertise for control system, data acquisition, data transmission, and platform to guarantee continuous data flow, maintain data quality and enhance end-user satisfaction.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer Engineering, Data Science or similar field and seven (7) years of proven experience in project management/ control system experience with a track record of leading or deploying complex projects in a professional setting; in lieu of a four-year degree, you should bring a total of nine (9) years of experience in which you have gain an understanding of project management/ control systems experience

  • Understanding of OT communication networks, with proven experience with Analog/Digital, BACnet IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and OPC UA protocols
  • Previous experience with edge connectivity solutions and IoT technologies (REST API/ MQTT/ FTP) and networks
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise with a problem-solving mindset is essential for ensuring continuous operation and end-user satisfaction
  • Proven experience delivering performance reports and presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable of energy engineering with proven experience in operational efficiency and asset performance monitoring

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, in office three days a week
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% / internationally two times a year with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

As the Associate General Counsel in Chicago, IL or Houston, Texas you will be responsible for providing legal support together with a team of legal professionals to ENGIE’s Energy Solutions Global Business Unit (ES-GBU) in connection with its distributed solar and storage business with provides solar, solar plus storage, and standalone storage solutions for C&I behind-the-meter, Muni-CoOp and community solar customers. You will also lead a team of legal professionals doing the same. Every day, you will report to the Vice President & General Counsel to support for project and platform mergers & acquisitions (M&A), project financing matters (including tax equity and debt financing and cash equity spelldown); assistance in overall compliance with federal state and/or local laws and regulations; and such other transactional and contractual matters for ENGIE North America and it’s subsidiaries as may be required from time to time.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • You must be licensed to practice law in at least one state in the United States (preferably Texas or Chicago)
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of combined legal experience in the United States with a law firm or major corporate legal department; practice with a top-tier firm and combination of outside counsel and prior in-house experience with both energy transactional, solar, and storage project development and finance experience
  • Deep expertise in wholesale energy markets with strong communication skills is needed to perform this role

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst, you will focus on financial analysis, reporting and budgeting for ENGIE North America's Regional Services and be responsible for cross-functional G&A analysis of Northam.   • Direct the development of annual budgets, re-forecasts, and medium-term business plans (MTP), collaborating with other Business divisions ensuring consistency with ENGIE and partners guidelines
  • Under the supervision of the VP FP&A,  prepare supporting materials
  • Ensure the Regional Services and more broadly the NorthAm budget and MTP data is accurately and timely loaded into reporting systems identifying
  • Implement efficiency and control enhancing process improvements
  • Manage the monthly Group reporting processes, including thorough management analysis of P&L and Cash-Flow Statement components by portfolio

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math, or a STEM-focused degree program where you have learned project management, project financing, investments, equity, mergers, acquisitions, power, energy, or renewable market skills

As our Senior Acquisitions Investment Financial Advisory (AIFA)  Associate, you can work a hybrid schedule from our Houston, TX or Chicago, IL office. You will develop business cases and provide supporting project financial analyses to guide the investment for greenfield investment, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects.

 

Every day you will be responsible for leading the valuation, structuring guidance, advise on commercial agreements, risk allocation, bankability of contracts, financing alternatives, and expected investment returns throughout the business development process of investments, mergers and acquisition, and project financing plans. You will present investment opportunities to ENGIE leadership, defend project economics, and risks for the review committees.

 

  • Develop, analyze, evaluate and recommend financial options and proposals as they relate to business development projects or other funding needs
  • Advise internal stakeholders in understanding appropriate risk allocation, bankability of terms and conditions of various project contracts and provide general structuring advice and optimization of returns throughout the business development process
  • Structure, negotiate and execute financing documents (internal or project finance) for medium to large size transactions
  • Identify main project economic and financial risks and advise on the appropriate mitigation factors and definition of appropriate contingencies
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions, following group guidelines. Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and correct incorporation of relevant inputs to such models. Propose and implement relevant sensitivity analysis for investment files
  • Assist the business development decision making process and manage internal approvals process for new economic commitments and associated financing arrangements
  • Create and lead presentations for lender and management updates and discussions
  • Coach and mentor more junior members of the AIFA team

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math, or a STEM-focused degree program where you have learned project management, project financing, investments, equity, mergers, acquisitions, power, energy, or renewable market skills
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in all aspects of project finance and M&A transactions where you lead the modeling/analysis, drive the structuring, negotiating legal documentation, execution of transactions and detailed financial modeling for each project from start of the development process to the successful closing of an investment or acquisition
  • Broad power industry expertise, including working in retail, energy services, renewables and / or generation markets
  • Investment analysis experience in the clean energy sector at a developer, fund, bank, or consultant
  • Detailed financial modeling, including a project finance and accounting component, with a strong proficiency working in EXCEL
  • You have worked in environments where you have worked alone or in a team structuring and closing M&A and/or financing transactions, including reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation
  • Knowledge of US merchant power markets drivers, hedging instruments, Tax Equity Structures, and IRS requirements

Covering a wide range of activities (from Booking to Post Trade), and the full range of commodities (PPA, Power Asset, Gas Asset, Long Term Contract, Full Supply Contract, Biomass, LNG, OTC Exotic and Vanilla, Market Operations, etc…), DRM has been actively modernizing the IS landscape in recent years, through the replacement of its legacy trading platforms by Orchestrade (Gemstone project).

 

Part of the IS Orchestrade Core Team, the IS Risk & PnL FO Team is actively working on this brand-new and still fast evolving Orchestrade software. Currently composed of 2 sub-teams of about 20 Business Analysts and developers located in Paris, the IS Risk & PnL FO Team aims at providing a state-of-the-art pricing, Risk and P&L framework in Orchestrade for all commodity payoffs, designed in strong relationship with the editor, Front Officers, FO quants and Risk quants.

Role:

The Head of IS Risk & PnL FO is in charge of:

  • Oversee and manage the IS Risk & PnL FO Core and Risk & PnL FO Solutions teams
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams
  • Ensure that the teams are adhering to the organization’s standards and policies
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure that the teams are aligned with the overall goals of the organization
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the teams and ensure that they are motivated and engaged
