Within GEMS, ENGIE Global Markets (EGM), is a regulated banking entity and ENGIE group energy trading platform.
EGM is a regulated banking entity and a recognized commodity trading specialist with 20 years of presence on energy markets worldwide.
Context:
As part of the EGM Credit Risk Analysts team, we are assessing the creditworthiness of GEM’s counterparts and managing the limits accordingly. The economic environment is also key and needs also to be followed.
Role:
Portfolio Credit Risk management
· Financial analysis (financial statements, business sector, peers…) and rating of EGM existing counterparties portfolio
· Proactive management of the credit limits in function of customers risk profile and business evolution
· Contract negotiation with customers in collaboration with Front Office and Legal department
· On-boarding of new customers
· Presentation of credit risk analysis to Risk Management and to Committees.
· Development of customer relationship before contract signing: analysis of Front Office’s need, study of the prospect’s profile (financials, business and regulatory environment,…).
· Follow-up and understanding of risk indicators (MtM, CVaR, RCM, stress tests …)
Digitalization
· Together with Credit Reporting team and IT support work on development of existing and introduction of new IT tools facilitating credit risk management.
Contribute to the team duty tasks
· Daily report production and answer to urgent business interests (check impact of deal interest on current exposure, and give authorization or not to trade).

· Familiar with risk indicators (such as Mark to Market or Potential Future Exposure), ICAAP, Stress tests

Education and professional background:
· Education level: Master degree
· Relevant experience in a credit risk position, or relevant finance or accounting activity (ideally in a trading or banking environment)
Languages:
· Fluent in English: written & oral
· French: oral is a plus
Travels:
· Working place : Paris or Brussels
· Travel: seldom
