Role
To support the TPI Commissions Team in the Business Performance Department, by producing analysis, deal with cash tracking and administration issues with support from the TPI Reconciliation Analysts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the recovery of exposed TPIs by working with TPI reconciliation analysts to recover balance sheet positions for ended contracts
- Produce valuable analysis and high quality reporting to allow business to make informed business decisions
- Create cash tracking reporting to aid recovery and manage progress
- Support with potential administration issues by collaborating with TPI reconciliation analyst’s data to understand and assess risk/exposure
- Support management of Energy Commissions Suite (self-billing invoice system) by working closing with key internal/external stakeholders
- Support with implementation of TPI Self-Serve Portal
- Deal with legal queries and administration process/issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to manage process and produce risk assessment to understand impacts
- Work with wider business to improve integrity of data and reporting
- Development of process documentation and policies to ensure business change is understood by key stakeholders.
- Support on-going external audits as required including group and statutory audits.
- Adherence to internal processes and risk frameworks including INCOME and ad-hoc internal audit assignments.
Skills
- Highly numerate
- Able to analyse problems and identify solutions using Microsoft Office tools
- Able to analyse data using tools such as SQL and capability to handle large data sets, such as via a cloud based data lake environment
- Ability to control and correct high volume ledger systems
- Reconciliation of complex accounting data sets
- Able to report financial issues to a wide-ranging audience
- Proven ability to produce work under tight deadlines
- Demonstrated practical approach to problem solving
- Able to manage conflicting priorities
- Preferable knowledge of the Energy industry
Experience and qualifications
- Proven post qualification accountancy experience in a dynamic professional environment.
- Demonstrated ability to apply professional expertise in a commercial environment
- Proven ability to support business process and system change.
- Degree level or equivalent
- Qualified Accountant (preferred) or part qualified
