JOUW VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN als Aankoper

• Je analyseert en optimaliseert inkoopbehoeften zoals toegewezen door het Hoofd Aankoop.
• Je onderhoudt voortdurend contact met interne zakelijke partners (de onderhouds- en projecttechnici en ingenieurs) om hun inkoopbehoeften te anticiperen.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het aankoopproces:
  • Definieer de juiste strategie samen met je zakelijke partner.
  • Identificeer potentiële leveranciers en organiseer consultaties.
  • Voer aanbestedingen uit, onderhandel over voorwaarden en implementeer contracten.
  • Zorg voor een goede opzet van inkooporders en help bij besprekingen met leveranciers in geval van problemen met levering of uitvoering van de werkzaamheden.
  • Pas de regels van de Groep toe, evenals de gezondheids-, veiligheids-, duurzaamheids- en ethische normen.
  • Documenteer besparingen volgens de regels van de Groep.
• Je neemt deel aan status- en teamvergaderingen, ondersteunt lokale leveranciersbeheeractiviteiten en faciliteert probleemoplossing met Accounting en Business.

JOUW PROFIEL als Aankoper

• Je hebt een masterdiploma in een vakgebied waarin je je analytische, probleemoplossende en communicatieve vaardigheden hebt ontwikkeld. Een professionele ervaring van 2/3 jaar is een pluspunt.
• Je spreekt Nederlands en Engels. Als je Frans niet vloeiend genoeg is, ben je bereid jezelf te investeren om op niveau te komen (cursussen worden betaald door ENGIE).
• Je begrijpt dat je alleen een zakelijke samenwerking kunt ontwikkelen door fysiek aanwezig te zijn waar de energiecentrales en je zakelijke partners zijn (haven van Antwerpen, Gent, Brugge en Brussel) en flexibel om (af en toe) leveranciers te bezoeken (in Duitsland en Nederland) op kwartaalbasis.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Provide technical support during the construction phase to enhance efficiency and reduce extra work and costs.
• Support operations and maintenance of large-scale renewable projects (wind turbines) to maximize power generation and asset availability, while optimizing O&M costs.

Your mission
 

As Geotechnical Lead Engineer in our Infrastructures department, you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in delivering top-notch geotechnical expertise for various infrastructure projects in Belgium and internationally.

You will be responsible for managing project studies and implementation, ensuring technical excellence, and contributing to the professional growth of junior engineers.

Your key responsibilities

• Coaching, motivating, and collaborating with small, multidisciplinary project teams of engineers (geotechnics, civil engineering, etc.) to deliver outstanding results.
• Determining project needs and selecting procedures for:
  • Soil investigations (geotechnical, geophysical, hydrogeological, geological).
  • Foundation techniques (pile foundations, soil improvement, steel foundations).

We would love to hear from people with  

• A degree in civil or industrial engineering (civil, mining/geotechnical).
• At least 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and a strong background in calculations.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software (Plaxis, Flac, D-Sheet, Foxta) or the willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated expertise in soil research, foundation techniques, and geotechnical stability solutions.
