What You Can Expect

s a Financial Reporting Advisor in Houston, you will report to the Financial Reporting Director and join the North America (“NorthAm”) consolidation team in the monthly and quarterly US GAAP and IFRS financial closing and reporting processes for ENGIE’s US and Canadian entities.

 

You will support the Global Business Services (“GBS”) accounting team in consolidations mechanics and account selection and the Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team’s budget processes.  You will also manage certain cross-functional support activities, such as the annual internal control assessment, IT integration implementation, and maintaining financial reporting tools.

 

As a Financial Reporting Advisor, you will collaborate with NorthAm teams primarily located in Houston and Chicago and with ENGIE Group colleagues in Paris. US based stakeholders include the NorthAm GBS Accounting team, Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”), Technical Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Insurance, and the Acquisition Investment Financial Advisory (AIFA) investments valuations team. You will also work closely with the ENGIE Group Consolidation team and Group FP&A. You will be a key member of the NorthAm Finance function and will work extensively with external auditors validating ENGIE’s accounts.

 

Serve as the subject matter expert on the consolidated International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements

Advise GBS and AIFA and senior management on IFRS, US GAAP, and managerial financial reporting impacts of proposed and finalized transactions with the support of the Technical Accounting team

Submit IFRS reporting packages, off balance sheet disclosure packages, and financial forecast packages other essential information needed to compile full consolidated financials, disclosures, and analysis for ENGIE’s US and Canadian entities ensuring data validation controls are reviewed and enforced

Lead and ensure the accuracy of the financial data communicated via the consolidation processes in accordance with Group provided instructions and schedules including investment in subsidiaries, equity roll forwards, equity pick-ups, calculation of tax estimates, and intercompany reconciliations

Administer the highly critical SAP Financial Consolidation tool including planning, design, testing and implementation within a development and production site

Enforce and maintain all consolidation process internal controls

Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to senior management.

Respond to IFRS and US GAAP audit requests ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP requirements

Train and support operational and finance colleagues on IFRS and US GAAP compliance.

Participate in or lead cross-functional projects with FP&A such as IT tool development, process design, etc., as needed

 

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in which you completed courses in finance and  accounting, or other related disciplines 

International Financial Reporting Standards and US GAAP knowledge

A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis

Significant consolidation accounting experience including understanding the consolidation scope, rules, controls, reports, and validations.

Working towards to a Certified Public Accounting (“CPA”) license or equivalent certification

Partnership reporting experience

Proficiency in SAP solutions (S4, SAC, BFC, Cartesis), Microsoft Excel, and/or Power BI

Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to manage and complete multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy and a drive for completion

Ability to meet highest attendance requirements

Able to work outside of usual US business hours, as needed

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $128,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As the Security Operations Senior Advisor, based in Houston, TX or Chicago, IL, you will be a leader within the corporate security team, tasked with implementing and directing a comprehensive enterprise security risk management program for Engie North America and its affiliates.  You will manage the security function within various Global Business portfolios and communicate with Global Business Units, which will look to you for direction and expertise. Your role will involve identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes and infrastructure across the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, limit exposure to liability, and minimize financial loss to the organization. You will also drive investigations into criminal financial loss, crimes against persons, sabotage, threats, emergencies, illegal acts, and property or environmental crimes.

 

The Security Operations Senior Advisor is responsible for defining, establishing, and modernizing a robust security system to ensure the security of all corporate and operational personnel, assets, and critical systems at ENGIE. Drive continuous improvement of Engie’s security posture to ensure the security of people, assets, and critical systems, while providing Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in security architecture, crisis management, policies, emergency response, and procedures as they pertain to security systems across multiple platforms and technologies.

 

Reporting to the Head of Security ENGIE North America, your primary duties encompass:

  • Manage and provide oversight of our physical security operations function in the Americas region and support the wider team globally as required
  • Work closely with Engie North America’s business leads, workplace teams and external business partners to optimize the team to scale with business needs
  • Build, review, and refine policy and procedure guidance documents for security practices, user operations escalations, event management, crisis management, and incident documentation
  • Design, develop, and implement Executive protection policies, procedures, and standards
  • Partner with functional, business and vendor teams across the company to conduct risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments to identify and document Engie North America’s most impactful risks. Recommend and deploy appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Effectively manage services providers, ensuring an effective risk-based programs operating within a developed set of standard operating procedures Provide feedback through service level agreements, quarterly business reviews and agreed key performance indicators
  • Forecast budgets accurately, make improvement and cost-efficiency suggestions and manage operations to budget
  • Define and deliver reporting and KPI requirements for all security-based incidents
  • Create and administer employee education programming to increase security awareness levels throughout the various GBU portfolios as we continue to develop a culture of security that protects Engie North America and our clients, i.e., workplace violence, mass casualty events, natural disasters, etc.
  • Spearhead business continuity plans, crisis management plans and ensure emergency incident and crisis response plans are in place and assessed regularly
  • Provide security design expertise and project management in relation to new office builds and expansion efforts throughout the region
  • Spearhead the planning and execution of proactive, innovative security programs and projects to reduce risk to Engie North America
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Emergency Management, Security, or similar degree fields required
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in security management
  • Working knowledge of access control systems, including integration into an enterprise level management system
  • Working knowledge of large-scale industrial construction project’s complexity
  • Working knowledge of travel security risk management systems
  • Understands state-of-the-art technology solutions and innovative security management techniques to safeguard enterprise-wide assets.
  • Knowledge and experience in RFP/RFI process, including new vendor onboarding
  • Expert level understanding of collection and analysis of security metrics to inform decisions, including conducting risk and vulnerability assessments and operational security design/planning
  • Exceptional ability to design, develop and implement Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Emergency response plans, in a large complex matrix-based organization
  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite daily
  • Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 80% of the time and with the need for overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $131,000 – $200,790 USD annually

Wat ga je doen als Finance Business Partner Renewable Gases?  

De energiemarkt is volop in beweging en ENGIE wil versneld overschakelen op duurzame energie. ENGIE gelooft in de combinatie van groene elektronen en groene moleculen. ENGIE Renewable Gases Europe (RGE) is verantwoordelijk voor de productie van het groen gas door vergisting uit reststromen van de voeding- en agrarische sectoren.  

 

Door de binnenkort te introduceren bijmengverplichting voor groen gas, zal de vraag hiernaar sterk toenemen. RGE heeft de ambitie om sterk te groeien, wat zal leiden tot substantiële investeringen in nieuwe en bestaande vergisters, terwijl de operational excellence van bestaande installaties niet uit het oog mag worden verloren.  

 

Jij bent onderdeel van het Management Team (MT) RGE Nederland, waar jij de rol van Finance Business Partner vervult. Je bent sparringpartner voor het MT aanspreekpunt voor alle financiële zaken. Je zorgt daarnaast voor betrouwbare financiële informatie en inzichten, zodat de juiste beslissingen worden genomen.  

 

Jij houdt je voor je afdeling bezig met: 

  • Als lid van het MT adviseren van het management bij het nemen van (financiële) beslissingen, en bijdragen aan de realisatie van de strategie;  

  • Volledige aansturing van de planning & control cyclus, inclusief prognoses, budgetten en bedrijfsplannen voor de afdeling; 

  • Ondersteunen bij en evalueren van contracten, commerciële voorstellen en business cases voor CAPEX-investeringen en potentiële acquisities; 

  • Analyseren en rapporteren van de financiële resultaten en prestaties.  

  • Optimaliseren van financiële systemen en bedrijfsprocessen binnen Finance en Renewable Gases, voor optimale stuurinformatie;

De veelzijdigheid van jouw rol zorgt ervoor dat je contact hebt met verschillende collega’s uit diverse (internationale) organisatieonderdelen. Je stemt regelmatig af met collega’s binnen Finance Nederland, RGE en ENGIE Groep. Je rapporteert aan de Country CFO NL. Als Finance Business Partner ben je in staat de kansen en risico’s in de markt voor biogasproductie te (leren) begrijpen. Naast jouw inhoudelijke kennis en ervaring vinden wij het belangrijk dat jij een ondernemende instelling hebt, creatief kunt denken als financieel strateeg, overtuigingskracht hebt en dat je denkt in kansen. Daarnaast heb je:  

  • Wo-werk- en denkniveau, met daarbij een afgeronde hbo-/wo-opleiding met een financiële richting; 

  • Je kunt structuur aanbrengen en duidelijkheid verschaffen in financiële resultaten en vooruitzichten, ook binnen de soms complexe omgeving (en systemen) die past bij een internationaal bedrijf.  

  • Een goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels (in woord en geschrift).

 Tus principales responsabilidades serán: 

  • Gestiona el cumplimiento de obligaciones tributarias, participa de la preparación y revisa el análisis de las partidas más relevantes de los Estados Financieros, informes y presupuestos para determinar su incidencia tributaria.
  • Gestiona la revisión, actualización, creación de procesos, procedimientos y políticas que garanticen la adecuada aplicación de las normas tributarias e impulsa la realización de mejoras a los procesos y procedimientos actuales que agreguen valor.
  • Establece la estrategia  y gestiona las auditorias tributarias (SUNAT) y financieras respecto al tema tributario y en general la atención de requerimientos de terceros externos, tales como SUNAT, auditores externos y del Grupo; y maneja las relaciones con éstos.
  • Gestiona y determina la estrategia de los litigios tributarios en sede administrativa (hasta el Tribunal Fiscal) y los procesos tributarios pendientes.
  • Gestiona los cambios en las normas tributarias y su implementación de forma proactiva en los procesos y políticas de las empresas.
  • Propone y gestiona la implementación de optimizaciones tributarias y proyectos que generan ahorros y gestiona los riesgos tributarios, en coordinación con las demás divisiones.

 

¿Qué necesitamos de ti? 

·         Indispensables: 

  • Profesional de la carrera universitaria de derecho tributario o contabilidad
  • Titulado y colegiado
  • Estudios de especialización en tributación o derecho tributario
  • Conocimiento en la legislación tributaria de Perú e internacional con impacto en Perú, con énfasis en impuestos directos e indirectos, IR, IGV, precios de transferencia, beneficiarios finales, convenios para evitar doble imposición y enajenación indirecta (avanzado).

  4. Participar en la gestión del ciclo anual de revisión salarial y bonus.
  5. Asesorar y colaborar con las diferentes unidades de negocio y equipos del Área de Personas.
  6. Analizar las prácticas y tendencias de mercado en materia de compensación y beneficios con el objetivo de determinar el posicionamiento óptimo de la propuesta de valor del Grupo ENGIE en España dentro de un modelo Total Reward.
  7. Velar por el cumplimiento de la normativa laboral y fiscal en materia de compensación y beneficios, así como por la aplicación de las políticas internas de la empresa.
  8. Colaborar en procesos relacionados con operaciones de M&A, reestructuraciones, etc. en el análisis, diagnóstico y planificación del encaje de modelos retributivos en la estructura retributiva del Grupo ENGIE en España.
  9. Gestionar los programas y sistemas transversales definidos por grupo ENGIE en materia retributiva (salarial, retribución variable y/o beneficios).
  10. Asegurar la implementación y cumplimiento de todas las políticas y procedimientos aplicables al rol, en especial aquellas relacionadas con la Seguridad e Higiene, Diversidad, Ciberseguridad, Medio Ambiente, Sostenibilidad, Ética y Compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ experience acting in Sr HRBP / HR Management roles in matrixed multinational, best-class companies.
  • Strong understanding of various HR functions, including talent management, local labour law, compensation and HR systems.
  • Business acumen: demonstrated ability to understand and apply knowledge of the business to achieve company’s goals through people management strategies.
  • Communication Skills: adequate gravitas and influencing skills to interact with business leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Data literacy: ability to use data, metrics and evidence to drive decision-making and change.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labour relations business administration or related field plus postgraduate studies (preferred MBA).
  • Spanish native speaker plus English C2 level.

  • You will develop and maintain Human Resources (HR) systems that support effective tracking, reporting, and accountability for our development programs
  • Diligently measure and refine talent solutions, driving a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with executive and senior leadership to strategically design impactful talent programs
  • Shape regional structure and strategies for group programs, aligning with broader organizational goals
  • Provide proactive, clear updates to leadership and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) on project progress, processes, and timelines to ensure alignment and transparency

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Talent Management with proven project management experience; In lieu of the educational requirement, we will accept a minimum of ten (10) years of  relevant industry experience in Talent Management and project management

  • You work effectively in a lean team environment, collaborating closely to meet shared goals and deliverables
  • You bring in-depth expertise in strategic planning, program design, and change management, with demonstrated experience creating and executing successful talent management programs
  • You excel at building strong partnerships and engaging stakeholders across levels to foster trust, alignment, and collaboration on strategic initiatives, both within North America and globally
  • You are knowledgeable in project management and skilled in client-focused engagement, ensuring client needs are met and relationships are strengthened, particularly with senior leadership
  • You are proficient in measuring and reporting on program impact, adept at tracking metrics to support continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making
  • You possess strong communication and leadership skills, enabling you to convey complex ideas clearly, inspire teams, and guide initiatives to successful outcomes

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of three (3) days in office and two (2) days working remotely
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $96,100 – $134,925 USD annually

 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
