Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, leveraging advanced sourcing techniques, acting as a TA consulting partner to the business.
  • Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers, HRBPs, and other key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, anticipation, and internal mobility.
  • Grant exceptional candidate and hiring manager´s experience , from first interaction all the way through to onboarding to ensure a seamless process and high satisfaction rates.
  • Collaborate to develop and execute effective employer branding initiatives to attract the best talent. Actively participating in talent related events (summits, webinars, job fairs etc), acting as an ENGIE ambassador.
  • Implement Talent Acquisition process improvement initiatives for hirings in all levels across the company.
  • Collaborate on international, cross-functional HR projects to enhance recruitment processes and employer branding.
     

Key skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • +5 years of relevant experience as a Talent Acquisition team member in challenging recruiting environment at multinational companies.
  • University degree in HR, Management, Business Administration or related field. Relevant Master´s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in effectively partnering with senior hiring managers and business leaders,  working on a variety of roles and levels.
  • Strong sourcing expertise using different channels, job boards, especially LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.

YOUR CHALLENGE as a Process Optimisation Manager 

  • You supervise the collection, processing, and analysis of data from our network of green energy-powered electric vehicle charging stations in Belgium, as well as market data.
  • You coordinate the development and implementation of optimization strategies based on in-depth data analyses to improve the selection, availability rate, and economic performance of our charging sites.
  • You support ENGIE Laborelec experts in evaluating and developing innovative technology solutions focused on optimization.
  • You monitor and evaluate the performance of optimized processes.
  • You are part of a human scale team, supporting commercial and technical divisions, and reporting to the Head of Performance of Vianeo Belgium.
  • You clearly and impactfully share the quantitative results of your optimization work with the team and management, both orally and in writing.

YOUR PROFILE as a Process Optimisation Manager 

  • You hold a degree in engineering, computer science, operations management, economics, or a master’s in a related field, with a strong interest in electric mobility and its technologies. Initial experience in optimization within the electric mobility sector is an asset.
  • You are passionate about improving financial and operational performance through data analysis and are familiar with analysis and visualization tools such as Python and Power BI.
  • You are results-oriented and take initiative to achieve defined performance objectives, with particular attention to the users of our services.
  • You adapt quickly, with a strong desire to learn and develop.
  • You have good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present analyses clearly and concisely, at least in English and French (proficiency in Dutch is an asset).

Mirfa 2 RO Plant;

Mirfa 2 Reverse Osmosis (M2 RO) Plant uses RO technology to produce and supply up to 120 million imperial gallons, equivalent to 550,000 cubic metres of potable water per day to EWEC under a 30-year O&M Agreement with Mirfa 2 RO Desalination Company.


The M2 RO Water Plant is located adjacent to the existing Mirfa 1 Plant located at the Mirfa Complex five kilometers west of the town of Mirfa, about 100 kilometers southwest of the city of Abu Dhabi on the Arabian Gulf coast in UAE. The expected date for starting commercial operations of the plant is November 2025.

Job Purpose

Manage the purchase of goods, spares, equipment, repair materials, and services to meet company requirements, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality procurement.

Scope of the Job

  • Mobilization Period: Initial spare parts review, warehouse setup, and procurement processes.

Job Summary

The Senior Performance Engineer will lead asset performance monitoring for a growing portfolio of power plants within our Renewable business. The Senior Performance Engineer will be responsible for evaluating contractor and equipment performance against contractual KPIs and interfacing with sites, regional and head office performance evaluation teams. The role will also include onboarding new projects and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Asset Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Oversee real-time monitoring and performance analysis of 15 power plants, identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

  • Analyze plant data to identify underperformance and implement corrective actions.

  • Develop and integrate AI-driven analytics and machine learning models for predictive maintenance and optimization.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual performance requirements, industry regulations, and operational best practices.

  • Ensure consistent and effective reporting on the performance of all plants on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis as might be required.

Contractor & Equipment Performance Evaluation

  • Assess contractor and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) performance against contractual KPIs, warranties, and guarantees.

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) of underperformance or failures and coordinate corrective action plans with contractors.

  • Ensure contractual obligations related to plant efficiency, availability, and reliability are met.

Failure Event Analysis & Trend Monitoring

  • Track and record failure events, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions to improve station availability.

  • Analyze failure trends and equipment degradation to enhance predictive maintenance.

  • Develop and conduct performance tests to assess equipment efficiency and system reliability.

Interface with Insurance & Risk Mitigation

  • Identify risks and notify insurance providers of potential claims.

  • Quantify and report financial losses due to equipment failures or underperformance.

  • Work with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth claim processing and settlements.

Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to design codes, regulatory standards, and PPA agreements.

  • Represent the company in stakeholder meetings, regulatory audits, and lender discussions.

  • Act as the Owner’s Technical Representative to external parties, ensuring compliance with contract obligations.

  • Provide standard analytical reports with regards to each asset and be prepared to present information internally and externally as needed.

New Project Onboarding & Integration

  • Lead performance monitoring setup for newly acquired or commissioned power plants.

  • Ensure seamless integration of new assets into the company’s performance monitoring framework.

  • Standardize performance benchmarking and reporting across the IPP portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).

  • 8+ years of experience in performance engineering within power generation, preferably in an IPP or utility environment.

  • Strong understanding of power plant performance KPIs, thermodynamic modeling, and asset optimization.

  • Experience evaluating contractor and equipment performance against contractual obligations.

  • Familiarity with SCADA, data analytics platforms, AI applications, and predictive maintenance tools.

  • Strong background in data processing, storage and analysis.

  • Proven ability to manage and mentor teams, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Must be able to provide support in pre bid engineering, Owners Engineering (Review of Design Documents) and Detailed engineering design.
  • Must have knowledge and experience in developing General Arrangement Layout of PV Plant, cable routing, earthing, Lightning protection, lighting, Main Control Room, Inverter Station etc.
  • Must have experience and knowledge in all electrical calculation and studies i.e. cable sizing, earthing, battery sizing etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in Electrical system studies Short circuit, Load flow, relay setting and coordination etc. is preferable
  • Must have knowledge of all relevant standards and guidelines i.e. IS, IEC, IEEE, International Guidelines, Guidelines issued by CEA, CERC, MNRE etc.
  • Experience in independently preparing Techno-commercial feasibility study, Detailed Project Report, Resource assessment and Energy Yield Assessment for Solar PV projects
  • Experience to carry out energy yield for solar plants independently using simulation software such as PV SYST, SAM, etc will be an added advantage
  • Experience of working in wind power projects and basic knowledge of storage concepts will be an added advantage.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Manager/Sr. Manager/DGM Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on combined cycle power plants, you will play a critical role in the design and development of the main plant components (Gas Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Steam Turbines, and related systems) for our projects. Your expertise in mechanical engineering, combined with your in-depth knowledge of international standards and guidelines, will contribute significantly to the success of our projects.

 

Primary Responsibility:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Expertise: Leverage your 10-18 years of experience to provide technical leadership in the basic and detailed design of Main Plant components for combined cycle power plants. Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulic systems and various types of pumps commonly used in combined cycle power plants.
  2. Feasibility Studies and Project Reports: Utilize your experience to conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project reports for a variety of projects related to combined cycle power plants, assessing their viability and potential for success.
  3. Main Plant Design: Apply your expertise in main plant design to enhance the efficiency and performance of combined cycle power plants. Previous experience in these areas will be a significant advantage.
  4.
