What you will do:

  • You will update the training database with information regarding the training sessions and qualifications acquired by employees within the company;

  • You will periodically monitor the database, identify and reconcile discrepancies.

  • You will provide support in conducting the annual budgeting exercise for training.

  • You will ensure mandatory and ad-hoc reporting for L&D activities, following reporting deadline.

  • You will be involved in the reporting of KPIs related to the L&D area.

  • You will create and maintain new databases according to business needs.

  • You will identify opportunities to improve the L&D process and align these processes with the company objectives.

  • You will support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and projects.

  • You will provide consultancy and suggest  viable solutions to the company's management regarding the HR projects and/or processes they are involved in, ensuring their implementation.

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in analysis, reporting, or database management.
  • Intermediate level of English.

What you will do:

  • You will manage technical competency development programs outlined in the training plan.
  • You will be involved in the defining the annual training budget for the company, ensuring efficient program management and compliance with the allocated budget.
  • You will be responsible for all the procedures related to technical training, authorization/re-authorization of company employees, participation in specialization courses, obtaining training certificates, complying with regulations and legal deadlines, and submitting applications to the relevant authorities.
  • You will manage the relationship with representatives of ANRE and ISCIR, as well as the training providers.
  • You will identify the most appropriate training and development programs for technical competencies, also implement them and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • You will participate in identifying and selecting external companies providing technical competency training/development programs, analyzing and evaluating offers technically.
  • You will be involved in promoting the educational offer of vocational training in the dual system by making presentations to students and their parents.
  • You will handle the training application management regarding training session planning.
  • You will ensure accurate, nominal records of technical trainings and qualifications/authorizations acquired by the company's employees.
  • You will manage the "HR Courses" IT system for tracking and recording all employee competencies and training history.
  • You will organize and conduct training sessions in optimal conditions, according to internal working procedures, as well as performing the logistical and operational activities related to them (reports, orders, invoice receipts in SAP, cost allocation, etc.).
  • You will create recurrent reports for the management regarding the annual training plan for technical training and compliance with the allocated budget.

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the human resources field - in developing and implementing training courses, and human capital development solutions.

The Role

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Experience in development of the conceptual, logical, and physical data models, the implementation of RDBMS, Data warehouse star-schema models, entity relationships to 3NF, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes
  • Experience in design, implementation of data architecture and data modeling solutions, which include the use of relational, dimensional, hierarchical and NoSQL databases
  • Expert in data architecture and the optimization of data query performance via best practices
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling principles and best practices including good understanding of canonical data modeling concepts
  • Experience working with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models

For one of our subsidiaries, we are looking for a Functional Analyst to join our HR Information Systems (HR IS) team and contribute to our ambitious projects.

Your Role:

As a Functional Analyst, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and improving our HR information systems.
Your main responsibilities include:

  • System Management: Support developing and maintaining our HR systems, focusing on among others Cornerstone and SuccessFactors.
  • Technical Support: Support HR team members, competence management leads and line managers.
  • Training & Documentation: Prepare and deliver user training and create comprehensive documentation for system users.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze HR processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate HR team requirements into functional specifications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT and HR departments to ensure smooth integration of systems and data.
  • Data Analysis: Create insightful reports for our stakeholders with the help of PowerBI to support decision-making.
  • Project Participation: Contribute to HR projects, from planning and implementation to evaluation.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in managing relationships with external partners and suppliers.


Your Profile:


We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who brings a mix of technical skills and HR affinity.
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with HR systems such as Cornerstone and SuccessFactors (preferred).
  • A strong interest in HR and a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and PowerBI.
  • Languages: Proficient in Dutch, French and English.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role.


Work Environment:

Location: Primarily based at ENGIE Tower Brussels (Boulevard Simón Bolívar 36, 1000 Brussels), with occasional work at the Nuclear Power Plants in Doel and Tihange.
Remote Work: 2 days per week of work-from-home flexibility.
