Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent. 
  • 7-10 years of relevant working experience in HR business partnering/generalist capacity. 
  • Good knowledge of local Labor Code of the Philippines. 
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism.
  • Effective change management skills to navigate through constant change. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

Job Purpose/Mission 

The Head of Product Management is responsible for developing and executing a product strategy that brings life-changing impact to our customers while meeting the business goals of EEA. This is a cross-functional leadership role, requiring experience and understanding in customer research, product and technology development, and business strategy. The Head of Product Management will facilitate the Product team to execute on discovery, definition, development, launch, refinement, and end-of-life of EEA products. The incumbent of this role owns EEA global product catalog and will work closely with EEA global and country management to ensure the EEA product catalog is the most competitive and meets the needs of customers and the business across all markets.  

Responsibilities   

  • Lead creation and realization of a competitive global product strategy 
    • Coordinate with company leaders to develop the 3-5 year product strategy to meet the company goals 
    • Create and maintain EEA product roadmaps aligned to the overall corporate strategy 
  • Own the execution and management of the complete product portfolio across all stages of the product life cycle 
    • Drive the timelines and standards along the life-cycle 
    • Work with Strategic Marketing organisation to develop the product partnerships that  maximize the product value proposition 
  • Recruit and manage a team of product managers to realize product goals 
    • Set product team KPIs and manage team resources 
    • Drive the adoption of best-practices in product management through mentorship 
  • Support and implement the EEA product development processes 
    • Coordinate with Engineering and Supply Chain managers on how to best deliver solutions to markets with given resources 
    • Facilitate the Build vs Buy decision process 
  • Manage the P&L for the consolidated product portfolio across all markets 
    • Develop and track standards and KPIs for measuring the product performance 
    • Guide the decision to create, keep, or remove products 
    • Be responsible for the commercial viability and cost management of the product portfolio 

Deliverables & Activities 

  • Work cross-functionally with managers from commercial, credit, customer experience, finance, operations, quality, and manufacturing to develop the most effective product strategy for our customers. 
  • Represent the voice of the customer as it relates to EEA products globally within the management team. 
  • Ensure the EEA product portfolio is always meeting EEA’s goals for quality, inclusivity, customer experience, and profitability. 
  • Support development of strategic product partnerships necessary to realize a competitive product lineup 
  • Provide global oversight of product positioning, pricing, and promotion for country teams 
  • Represent EEA products and product strategy within the company, to shareholders, and to 3rd party partners.

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience working in product management and related fields 
  • Leadership experience in portfolio or program management 
  • Management of planning and executing against product vision, product strategy, and product roadmaps 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary and geographically diverse teams as well as external parties and partners. 
  • Experience building & maintaining pricing and sales models 
  • Experience managing the P&L of a product or portfolio of products 
  • Commitment to serving the needs and improving the lives of rural households across Africa 
  • Experience delivering products into Sub-Saharan African markets particularly in the last mile environment 
  • Ability to deal with both operational and strategic topics

Missions

 

  • You will report to the Head of Renewable APAC.

  • Lead and conduct PV or hybrid power plant studies for the greenfield and brownfield project phases.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in which you completed courses in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or other related disciplines

Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Procurement

Strong knowledge of sourcing through category management, procurement processes, and tools

Strong relationship management skills and ability to communicate effectively and collaborate, team player

Experience with procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa

Experience working in multi-regions of North America, particularly in building, installing and maintaining renewable assets (solar, wind, battery storage)

Compensation

Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

  • Act as a key operational liaison, both internally and externally across ENGIE Impact’s offerings and facilitating cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, business and product teams to position operational strategies across team to grow market share at scale across multiple practice, regions and sectors.
  • Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for direct team and commercial operations organization.
  • Translate complex technical design requirements into information that customers and business partners can understand and respond to.
  • Act as a technical expert to operationalize our proposal and deal management process for content, process and accuracy at scale.  
  • Participates in the development of the overall business strategy to acquire new customers and expand product adoption.  Contributes to costing and pricing of a solution directly, and through indirect resources across organization.
  • Responsible and accountable to oversee price book governance and product consolidation.
  • Leverages significant industry and domain expertise to drive strategic decision-making in Go-to-Market efforts, understanding industry trends and differentiate a top market position within competitive landscape.
  • Works collaboratively with the commercial and business teams to orchestrate communication channels within internal organization.
  • Stay current and document industry requirements, standards, trends, drivers and challenges, updating and training teams as appropriate.
  • Partner with legal, sales, and finance teams to create standard contract templates and processes that streamline and speed up deal-closing for standard products (GL modifications, for example).
  • Identify inefficiencies in the existing process and develop strategies to reduce bottlenecks, improve deal velocity, and ensure timely execution of contracts.
  • Support the sales team in contract negotiations, providing guidance on terms, pricing, and potential risks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Education/ Certifications/ Experience/ Competencies/ Skills/ Abilities/ Other 

  • Bachelor's Degree (marketing, sales, business administration, environment, quantitative concentration) required.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • May accept a combination of relevant experience in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Knowledge of resource (energy/waste/water) services and controls including renewable energy solutions, carbon data management, utility and sustainability services.

  • 10+ years relevant experience and a proven track record of effectively leading, motivating, and mentoring teams to achieve targets in technical, consultative environment.
  • Experience providing financial/economic analysis to support pricing, SOW and solutions architecture Client facing engagements.
  • May consider less experience in combination with educational and other skills and abilities possessed by candidate.
  • Consistent track record of exceptional performance, having delivered quantifiable impact on company revenue and growth through solutions operations, design or sale.
  • Proven execution-oriented people leader with exceptional ability to hire and inspire teams creating a high-performance culture in dynamic environment.
  • Proven capability to adeptly manage and execute highly complex and competing priorities whilst leading a team to ensure optimal organizational outcomes and efficient resource allocation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week

The pay range for this job is $108,000-$182,850, however all offers will be in compliance based on state minimum wage requirements.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
