Job Purpose:

The Data Center Facilities HVAC Technician is responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC equipment within the data center is operating at peak efficiency. This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues. The Technician serves as an expert technical resource reporting and interacting with onsite Engineers and any third-party vendors. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and Daily visual inspections on major data center equipment.
  • Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s and keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Repair and maintenance work on a wide range of HVAC (DDC, BMS, Control system), Plumbing & ELV equipment.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility Mechanical systems.
  • Maintain, operate all Mechanical/HVAC related systems and associated equipment, Mechanical equipment, building management system.
  • Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Create the Job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per Site requirements and close the Job cards which Engineer assigns.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.
  • Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken.
  • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Mechanical systems, ELV system, HVAC system, and other trade related systems.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
  • Maintain essential stock of spare parts.
  • Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
  • Attend training sessions and seminars.
  • Other assigned tasks as requested.

Skills Required:

 

  • Good knowledge of Mechanical systems (Generators, Chillers, Pumps, Motors, Bearings)
  • Good knowledge of cooling systems (HVAC, Chillers, VRV, FAHU, IRU, FWU)
  • Good Knowledge of ELV Systems (DDC, BMS, Control system)
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical systems and associated tools and equipment’s.
  • Skill in installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of Mechanical system equipment’s and components.

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

  • Prior experience  in developing renewable projects in the UK, with specific experience in originating greenfield Renewable and BESS projects.
  • Experience in identifying and acquiring land, optimizing grid connections, conducting environmental assessments, and applying for planning consents.
  • Experience in originating corporate PPAs and participating in CFD auctions.
  • Knowledge of EPC contracting structures and tendering processes.
  • Understanding of capital and O&M costs linked to PV, onshore wind, and batteries.
  • Conversant with investment principles and project financing.
  • Financial modelling experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
  • UK Driver's Licence and ability to travel nationally and to the EU.

Job Purpose:

The Data Center Facilities BMS/DCIM Operator is responsible for supervising and controlling the operation of the Building Management System (BMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) System. This role includes monitoring all systems, including but not limited to electrical, ELV, fire/life safety equipment, HVAC plant activities, and ensuring the data center operates at optimum efficiency. The operator must maintain, monitor, and report system faults, alerts, alarms, and any anomalies related to BMS/DCIM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate BMS & DCIM systems, including alarm response, alarm resetting, adjusting setpoint parameters, and reporting faults to the repair team.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure proper operation of equipment under BMS/DCIM control.
  • Provide high-level customer service to clients and site personnel.
  • Audit monitoring system performance daily using built-in tools such as data logging, plant review, and alarm manager status.
  • Handle help desk services for reactive calls, answering calls in a professional manner.
  • Work in a 24/7 shift rotation (days and nights).
  • Monitor and record HVAC and electrical system values to create a database for energy efficiency improvements.
  • Follow protocols in case of technical issues or unexpected problems.

Vei:

  • Acorda sprijin în eficientizarea, îmbunătățirea și dezvoltarea aplicațiilor informatice necesare derulării contractelor de distribuție a gazelor naturale încheiate cu furnizorii de gaze naturale;
  • Avea în vedere respectarea termenelor stabilite conform procedurilor de lucru și a reglementărilor în vigoare;

  • Întocmi situații/analize pentru activitatea desfășurată;

  • Asigura suport în identificarea și tratarea erorilor apărute în finalizarea fluxurilor din sistemul informatic;

  • Acorda suport în monitorizarea și raportarea periodică cu privire la serviciile tehnice obligatorii întârziate, sesizând neconformitățile identificate pe proces;
  • Acorda sprijin în elaborarea cererilor de proiect, cererilor de schimbare pentru activitățile din cadrul serviciului;
  • Participa la ședințele/discuțiile pe baza cerințelor de business cu toate entitățile implicate în proces;
  • Analiza cu o recurență prestabilită programele de distribuție transmise de furnizorii de gaze naturale prin intermediul sistemului informatic;
  • Asigura suport în verificarea și stornarea facturilor de taxe operate prin intermediul workflow-ului dedicat acestui proces;
  • Monitoriza și analiza detaliile din sistemele informatice și vei identifica necesitatea efectuării de corecții în scopul obținerii corectitudinii informațiilor;
  • Documenta și centraliza instrucțiunile de lucru aferente serviciului.

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

  • Studii superioare finalizate cu diplomă de licență;
