What You Can Expect

As the Director, Real Estate and Land Services you will provide critical expertise within Engie’s Flexible Generation business unit that focuses on developing and operating large utility-scale energy storage projects across the US, particularly in the CAISO and ERCOT regions. Leading a team of land professionals, you will secure land rights to support ENGIE’s 10 GW energy storage goal by 2030. Responsibilities include managing a large existing land portfolio, develop strategies for site acquisition, negotiating site control agreements, building relationships with landowners and communities, enhancing contract execution processes, and overseeing internal and contract land agents.

 

Candidates must have a strong transactional background, exceptional organizational and managerial skills, real estate expertise, and the ability to travel up to 20%. Collaboration with development, legal, finance, and construction departments is essential to handle real estate matters throughout the project lifecycle, from site acquisition to financing, construction initiation, and operations. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer and is available in Houston, TX, various US locations, or remotely.

 

  • Manage Robust Existing Land Portfolio: Oversee a diverse portfolio of land positions across California, Texas, and the Midwest, ensuring deadlines and multiple project objectives are met
  • Develop and Execute Acquisition Strategies: Create and implement land acquisition strategies for greenfield and existing projects, including negotiating easements, leases, and related agreements
  • De-Risk Title and Survey Issues: Review and resolve title and survey-related issues, coordinate with Land Services, Development teams, and third parties to mitigate risks
  • Lead Real Estate and Financing Efforts: Guide the real estate work stream through project financings and collaborate with management to support land acquisition for energy storage projects
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on federal, state, and local regulations related to battery project development, and maintain expertise in land/environmental policies and mineral interests
  • Collaborate and Communicate Effectively: Work closely with legal teams, project managers, and diverse project teams, ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation of agreements
  • Optimize Project Management: Improve work procedures and policies, demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills, and work independently to achieve project goals

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience, including at least seven (7) years focused on land acquisition
  • Comprehensive understanding of real estate matters and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, LandWorks, and mapping software such as DeedPlotter, Metes and Bounds, or ArcGIS.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, and LandWorks
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to quickly and efficiently shift between priorities, alongside a proven ability to plot legal descriptions and strong project management capabilities

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy

Compensation

Salary Range: $154,000 – $236,000 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

As the Electrical Engineer (EE) Senior Advisor in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s Flexible Generation & Retail Global Business Unit (FGBU) in North America you will be responsible for electrical and power systems engineering support for development, construction, and operating projects. The responsibility of the AMEA HSE Advisor will provide a strategic and systematic approach to ensure the effective development and management of HSE systems to ensure the safety and health of all employees, contractors and subcontractors working for the AMEA FGBU fleet. The AMEA HSE Advisor will achieve this by working in partnership with other key functions including members of the HSE AMEA team, Country HSE Managers, asset HSE teams, Engie Group HSE and external consultants as required.

This a key role in terms of positively transforming our region’s HSE performance, by eliminating fatalities and significantly reducing the frequency and severity of accident and incident. They will also develop an inclusive, proactive, innovative HSE culture which supports our region, and Engie as a corporation, in realizing its mission and vision.

SCOPE:

The role applies to the management of occupational health and safety of all AMEA activities including:

  • Engie employees, contractors and subcontractors.
  • O&M assets.
  • Construction assets.
  • Business development.
  • Procurement selection and management of contractors and Subcontractors.

REPORTING LINE:

 The AMEA HSE Advisor will report to Head of HSE FGBU AMEA.

REPONSIBLITIES:

  • Provide occupational HSE leadership and coordination to ensure compliance with Regulatory requirements, Engie Group Rules (GRs) and AMEA Standards to ensure zero fatalities and reduce the frequency and significance of adverse HSE events across the AMEA fleet.
  • Develop a strategy for effective occupational HSE management across the region with the Head of HSE AMEA, including development and tracking of objectives, targets and KPIs, at AMEA, country and asset levels, in collaboration with the Country HSE Managers.
  • Further develop the AMEA (occupational) HSE dashboard. Work in conjunction with Country HSE managers to develop country dashboards which are cluster specific and support delivery of AMEA objectives.
  • Strategically develop AMEA’s HSE management system. Identify and co-ordinate the
  • development of AMEA specific HSE Standards. Ensure AMEA HSE documentation is reviewed, revised as necessary and available on SharePoint.
  • Ensure AMEA is aware of the implementation status and requirements of Engie Group Rules (GRs):
  • Collaborate and develop strong partnerships with relevant AMEA departments to ensure compliance with GRs.
  • Co-ordinate awareness training on GRs and reviews with affected departments and Owners as required.
  • Ensure, for forthcoming GRs, that an AMEA expert is assigned to contribute to the design and development of the GR. Assess and communicate to AMEA management, the likely business impact in the region.
  • Monitor and track AMEA implementation and compliance with GRs and define and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI) with dashboard.

 Develop AMEA’s HSE recording and reporting systems and identify new solutions, including BATNEC options, to identify and reduce the risk posed to the region, countries and assets.

  • Gather HSE information and data at regional, country and asset levels. Analyse information, identifying HSE trends, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Regularly report on AMEA HSE risks, KPIs and trends accurately with data and recommend effective and efficient actions towards continuous improvement.
  • Develop the AMEA reporting calendar ad ensure reporting is conducted according to plan.
  • Coordinate the design and delivery of HSE reports and presentations as required.

 Develop an AMEA risk register to identify risks, likelihood and consequences at regional, country and asset level in order to take appropriate actions to reduce risks effectively.

  • Assess the effectiveness of risk management across the fleet.
  • Regularly report on AMEA HSE risks, KPIs and trends accurately with data and
  • recommend effective and efficient actions towards continuous improvement.
  • Develop a strategy to ensure the effective management of HSE actions at AMEA, country and asset levels.

 Review and approve AMEA accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis, to ensure appropriate corrective and prevention actions are implemented to reduce risks.

  • Share HSE information across the AMEA fleet to accelerate organisational learning.

 Develop an AMEA internal auditing schedule in collaboration with the AMEA OpEx and Process Safety Manager. Participate in audits as required. Ensure actions arising are tracked to completion.

  • Participate in Engie Group HSE audits as required.

 Develop systems to ensure the effective management of HSE actions at AMEA, country and asset level.

 Further develop the HSE training system for AMEA, Country and Asset levels including the development of HSE training needs analysis and implementation of training matrices at asset level.

  • Design and deliver HSE training in collaboration with the HSE Department AMEA and/or third parties. Deliver country and/or at asset training as required. Coordinate the delivery of AMEA monthly tool box webinars.
  • Ensure all HSE training is adequately recorded and competency assessed.

 Support the development of the Engie OST (One Safety Tool) to ensure successful and timely deployment at AMEA.

 Develop synergies across AMEA and within the Engie Group to share and learn from others experience to accelerate organizational learning.

 Work in coordination with AMEA Communications department and the AMEA HSE network to develop a strategy to enhance HSE awareness and engagement in AMEA.

  • Develop the AMEA HSE SharePoint site to ensure information to support the fleet and monitor fleet performance is effective and easily accessible.

 Provide insight and advice to support to AMEA leaders by:

  • Helping them identify and mitigate risks.

JOUW VERANTWOORDELIJKHEID als Teamleider Instrumentatie en Automatisatie

  • Je coördineert een team van specialisten instrumentatie en automatisatie dat instaat voor het onderhoud I&C op de sites in Vilvoorde, Drogenbos en Schaarbeek. Je staat in voor de begeleiding van je teamleden, voert regelmatig gesprekken en equipes, en je werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling van je medewerkers.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie van de verschillende I&C onderhoudswerkzaamheden zowel in dagelijks onderhoud als bij revisies.
  • Je bereidt de werkzaamheden voor, je coördineert de interne en externe partijen, je analyseert de risico’s, je verzamelt de nodige informatie, je legt de handelswijzen (instructies, procedures,…) vast, je definieert en zorgt voor het nodige materieel en middelen teneinde alle elementen te verkrijgen die nodig zijn voor een goede uitvoering van de werkzaamheden.

Due to an internal move, we have a wonderful opportunity, for an Application Support Analyst to join our Application Support team in ENGIE Retail. You will report to the Applications Support Lead, ENGIE Retail, and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.

 

The Application Support Analyst will support the efficient management of ENGIE applications, working with third-party vendors. This will include identifying and resolving incidents and problems, escalating as appropriate and administrative and maintenance tasks associated with the applications.

 

Your  success in this role will leverage excellent knowledge of ITIL and a passion for solving problems with an ability to prioritise. You will be proactive and possess a positive attitude.

 

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Triage, troubleshoot, and escalate system application issues in an effective and timely manner
  • Daily management of support queues and prioritisation of support requests; identify and implement solutions to application system incidents
  • Track and document incidents, requests, and resolutions through the ticketing system
  • Work with IT support teams and vendors to resolve critical incidents and service disruptions
  • Lead incident investigations and implement work-arounds and solutions
  • Be prepared to participate in a 24/7 roster with regard to incidents raised outside of business hours (1 week in every 8 weeks roster)
  • Participate in the testing of new releases and updates to identify potential issues before production deployment
  • Serve as a liaison between the application users and technical teams to communicate application-related issues and improvements

Manager, Project Sourcing

Responsibilities 

  • Leading Renewables project sourcing activities for large utility solar and wind projects in Philippines and Malaysia, with focus on EPC and BOP Contractors 
  • Translate the project's business targets into a procurement strategy in order to ensure the procurement is technically and financially able to meet the overall aims of the project. 
  • Leading new supplier sourcing, qualification, RFQ issue and evaluation, price and terms negotiation until contracting finalization 
  • Cooperating and synergize with regional project sourcing team in SEA and AMEA on sourcing strategy, key contractor management and regional framework agreement alignment. 
  • Closely collaborating with Solar Equipment Category Sourcing Team on solar equipment sourcing and supply chain management for each project
  • Lead and manage Project Sourcing Process including prepare tender, evaluate RFQ for contractors, perform total cost of ownership analysis and evaluate tender submission and selection, coordinating alignment with internal functional departments, prepare tender memo for approval and negotiate contract according to company governance rules 
  • Support regional internal stakeholders from development to construction to operation, on costing/sourcing strategy/supply chain management 
  • Support operation and maintenance team for supplier engagement and comprehensive solution 
  • Commit to achieving the Procurement financial and operational performance given target 
     

Requirements

  • Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain/Engineering or equivalent 
  • At least 10 years experience in project sourcing, preferably in solar and wind experience 
  • Solid knowledge in supplier sourcing, tendering and contract negotiation and project management
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills 
  • Goal getting, driven, committed, with strong planning and execution capabilities.

Our B2B sales team is growing!  Excellent opportunity for a B2B Sales Operations Partner to join our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy by managing allocated new business opportunities.

 

This is a newly created position working in collaboration with the Sales team and external Third Party Intermediaries (TPI) to successfully acquire new business through review and response to offers.

 

You will be managing best practises, governance  and optimisation of our Salesforce CRM, support the Sales team with value added insights and commercial reporting.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • establishing and maintaining a standard of excellence in sales data and metrics, driving high standards across the sales team for data quality and sales pipeline management
  • assisting the Sales team to collect, analyse, and understand market feedback and trends to promote the competitiveness of the B2B Supply business
  • assisting to project manage upgrades and enhancements to the ENGIE CRM platform
  • setting the standards and monitoring best practise utilisation of the technology, and compliance
