Work Environment 


We are looking for a Solar and BESS Manager to support efficiently the expansion of our services in APAC. You will lead and oversee the engineering and technical aspects of solar and BESS projects. This role involves managing a team of engineers, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards, and providing technical expertise to support project development and execution. You will evolve in an international environment and work in close coordination with other teams throughout the company in order to deliver projects at the highest quality standards.


You will be integrated in Tractebel Energy community, a worldwide network of Energy specialists keen on sharing their knowledge.

Missions

 

  • You will report to the Head of Renewable APAC.
  • Lead the engineering team for the consultancy services in the design, development, and implementation of solar and BESS projects.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
  • Lead and conduct PV or hybrid power plant studies for the greenfield and brownfield project phases.
  • Lead and conduct techno-commercial feasibility study, technical due diligence, tender documents and tendering process, and project construction and execution. 
  • Lead and conduct technical analyses and software simulations for PV and BESS to optimize project LCOE or plant performance.
  • Lead and conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team and other departments.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar and BESS technologies and integrate them into projects.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain relationship with Clients, partners and project stakeholders. 
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained on all projects.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in solar and BESS engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial  role.
  • Proficiency in solar PV system design and BESS integration.
  • Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and renewable energy technologies.
  • Experience with relevant software tools (e.g., PVsyst, HomerPro, AutoCAD, MATLAB).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, NABCEP) are a plus.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 to 15 years of project management experience in HVAC, Chilled Water Cooling Systems, and Multi-Utility Projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of local applicable statutory codes and regulations.
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, PRC, NEBOSH).

Marketing and Communications Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking for a Marketing Communications Manager who will be responsible for the internal and external design, implementation, and management of a range of online, offline, and traditional communication strategies and events of the local ENGIE business unit and joint-venture entities. The preferred incumbent should be knowledgeable in the strategic and operational management of activities from conception to development, creation and dissemination of press releases, public relations initiatives, organizing and mounting events and other ways of conveying the desired message to internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a marketing and corporate communications plan for internal and external stakeholders by collaborating with management, business development team and other department heads to fully understand the communication needs. Lead the end-to-end process.
  • Create and manage budget for this purpose.
  • Determine the most effective communications technique and platform for internal and external campaigns which may include social and online media, print, audio-visual, webinars, events and conventions, etc.
  • Create and produce press releases, articles, copywrite, campaigns, bulletins, social media/online messages and other communications as required and route for approval. Lay out, print and distribute if required.
  • Write draft speeches for senior management and assist with finalizing speeches.
  • Evaluate success of campaigns when completed.
  • Liaise with HQ Regional Management Office (RMO) based in Singapore or worldwide counterparts to leverage support, collaboration, knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Know the events relevant to the business and cascade the information to management in a timely manner. Attend events as company representative or to gather marketing intelligence.
  • Cascade the business vision, mission, and directions to all employees, partners, vendors and other key stakeholders by creating an effective campaign with a cohesive look and thematic agenda.
  • Seed press releases.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
  • Three to five years of related experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include speech writing, public speaking, pitching and presentations.
  • Has sufficient skills in strategic corporate communications planning and creative communication.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Good at research and data validation.
  • Knowledgeable in data gathering and data analysis of target market and stakeholders’ engagement to marketing and communications initiatives.

The pay range for this job is $108,000-$182,850, however all offers will be in compliance based on state minimum wage requirements.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
