Job Purpose:

Assigned the task to carry out with full accuracy and provide the better service in time frame under Facility

Management.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Attending the service request from the clients, tenants, landlords etc. through phone calls, emails regarding maintenance service.
  • Communicating with clients, tenants, landlords etc. for fixing the appointment.
  • Preparing quotations and send to the clients, tenants for seeking the approval.
  • Making intervention (s) for each job request and coordinating with supervisor for arrange the team as well as transportation.
  • Follow up with technicians for the interventions and after finishing the job, the interventions are closing in the system.
  • Handling the petty cash for maintenance work.
  • Preparing monthly summary for additional work and the same to Account Dept. along with supporting documents for raising the invoice in favor of the clients.
  • Keeping the records of payment receiving and pending payment
  • Tracking the schedule of PPM service and coordinating with clients.
  • Correspondence with mail, filing and other miscellaneous work.

  • Perform Safety Controller responsibilities.

Governance: 

  • Ensure compliance with laws, directives, and project requirements.

Human Resources: 

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specialized plant areas. 

  • Support the development of Emirati talent. 

  • Lead performance management and staff development. 

Plant Operations: 

  • Plan and prioritize work to meet operational goals. 

  • Provide leadership to the shift team. 

  • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams. 

  • Oversee routine testing and monitor plant start-ups and shutdowns. 

  • Act as the incident commander during emergencies. 

 

Finance: 

  • Contribute to budget planning. 

  • Support the development of operational budgets. 

  • Evaluate supporting contracts and monitor contractor performance. 

Qualifications and Skills 

Knowledge: 

  • English proficiency, with Arabic as an advantage. 

  • Understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment Management procedures. 

  • Practical understanding of water treatment, desalination, and auxiliary plant operations. 

  • Knowledge of commercial agreements and local environmental legislation. 

Experience: 

  • At least five years in a similar role in a RO Desalination Water Plant. 

  • Hands-on experience in plant start-up, shutdown, and abnormal protocol operations. 

  • Commissioning and start-up experience is advantageous. 

Qualifications: 

  • Engineering-related diploma/degree or equivalent. 

  • Recognized management qualification (optional).
