JOB PURPOSE:

Under general supervision, maintain all kinds of plumbing installation works and repairing of pipes, fittings, and all plumbing fixtures. Maintain and provide for the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems in facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical:

Skills Required:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the relevant field of energy management and support to facilities management.

JOB PURPOSE:
To fulfill contract requirement in regards with the maintenance of the Dubai Tram infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directs, coordinates and supervises various activities relating to civil and building maintenance, structural alterations and modifications to all infrastructures for the Dubai Tram project, including preparing feasibility studies and cost estimates for alteration, upgradation, modification of existing facilities and systems.
• Inspect infrastructure of the whole system and establish analysis report on the status. This includes viaduct, bridges.
• Visual inspection of the guide way, piers, foundations and piles settlement control, concrete cracking detection, bearing inspection, waterproofing and drainage efficiency, barriers, etc. For retaining walls and earth works in general, drainage and vegetation growth is a crucial.
• Detailed inspection of the guide way, piers, foundations and piles: same activity as inspection but more detailed and exhaustive analysis. In addition of non-destructive test to be considered such as acoustic emissions, electro-magnetic, portable hardness test, liquid penetration, magnetic particle, radiography, residual stress by hole drill, ultrasonic methods, etc.
• Manage building survey tasks including masonry, glazing, and steels.
• Inspects civil work of buildings (Depot and Stations) steel structures and establish report and make recommendation.
• Liaise with relevant authority and subcontractor and any relevant parties in relation to work whatever the cause (accident, vandalism, weather and maintenance whatever).
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the doors and shutters including PSD at the stations.
• Manage minor repair on roads, track, railing stabling (filling/finishing).
• Manage repair damage on floor, wall, ceiling whatever the surface (tiles, gypsum, and concrete).
• Maintain fences and barriers.
• Ensure safety at work of the team and other parties. Review and input to the safety manual and liaise with the safety officer. To abide by safety rules and report any accident or near misses incident and mitigate.
• Review on regular basis the risk assessment and mitigate.
• Be responsible for scheduled maintenance activities level 1 to 5.
• Meet objectives and target, KPI and SLAs.
• Responsible for continuous improvement.
• Plan and organize resources to execute responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and train Sub-ordinates.
• Cost controls.
• Initiate additional revenue for the company.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Professional experience in design, construction and maintenance works of multi-storied buildings and infrastructures.
• Professional experience in design, construction and maintenance works of roads and bridges and viaduct.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• B.Sc. Degree in Civil engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• 7 years of professional experience.
