JOB PURPOSE:

· The Site Admin is responsible for helping the FM team to manage the MEP and CIVIL services

and shall ensure support for the core business of the Gulf Data Hub organization.

  • Manage the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activity for specified geographies within AMEA through regular interaction with various GBU heads/SPOCs to monitor evolution of critical risks as well as identify new risks

  • Manage the renewal discussions for the regional Property Damage Business Interruption, Third Party Liability and Terrorism program  to ensure the best terms for ENGIE and its joint venture partners.  
  • Management of insurance claims including guiding and supporting the project companies with the management and negotiate best possible result in the event of an insurable incident. Post settlement of the claim ensure the fund collection happens in timely manner.
  • Management of internal as well as external stakeholder relationships
  • Assist with the support delivery of the AMEA  region on all insurance matters
  • Assist with updating of insurance companies/advisors/ brokers database
  • Seminars/Conferences – participate and lead in internal (e.g., Risk engineering / claims workshops) and external (Asia Power Forum or similar) insurance conferences / seminars.

  • Preparation of detailed insurance budgets for assets in operation and projects under development.
  • Manage and assist in the due diligence, bid and negotiation phase. This can be limited to budgetary input or can include full review of the existing insurances, if applicable,
  • Preparation of RFP’s for Insurance Advisor and Lenders insurance advisor on projects or programs and with the recommendation memos to ENGIE Group Insurance Committee (when applicable).
  • Manage and assist in the negotiation with the insurance market for the respective project insurance covers
  • Manage and assist with setting up, negotiation and management of all insurance related aspects of project financing. This involves discussions with lenders, partners’ insurance experts, lawyers, insurers, engineers, and other consultants.

 

 

  • Assist the local management on all insurance issues, for the projects under construction and during the handover to operation period including assisting with insurance documentation.
  • Assist with the implementation of group rules in terms of loss prevention (fire and machinery breakdown notably) in liaison with Global Care and other internal functions
  • Management and coordination of risk engineering surveys across the AMEA assets under construction and operations including follow-up status of risk improvement recommendations issued by risk insurance consultant and/ or broker´s engineers.
  • Follow the claims procedure in case of an event that may give rise to an insurance claim
  • Inform and involve ENGIE HQ timely in case of important new contracts or projects such as construction, project financing or refinancing, IPO, divestiture etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition of non-destructive test to be considered such as acoustic emissions, electro-magnetic, portable hardness test, liquid penetration, magnetic particle, radiography, residual stress by hole drill, ultrasonic methods, etc.
• Manage building survey tasks including masonry, glazing, and steels.
• Inspects civil work of buildings (Depot and Stations) steel structures and establish report and make recommendation.
• Liaise with relevant authority and subcontractor and any relevant parties in relation to work whatever the cause (accident, vandalism, weather and maintenance whatever).
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the doors and shutters including PSD at the stations.
• Manage minor repair on roads, track, railing stabling (filling/finishing).
• Manage repair damage on floor, wall, ceiling whatever the surface (tiles, gypsum, and concrete).
• Maintain fences and barriers.

Job Purpose:

Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris from sidewalk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

Job Purpose:

     The Data Center Facilities BMS/DCIM Operator is responsible to supervise and control the operation of the building management system (BMS) & Data Center infrastructure Management (DCIM) System and monitor all Electrical, ELV, and fire/life safety equipment, HVAC plant activities of the Data center building services within the data center is operating at peak efficiency. Maintaining and monitoring the level of temperature in equipment’s and trouble notifying against the DCIM alarms. The Operator serves as an expert technical resource reporting and interacting with onsite Engineers and any third-party vendors. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates and maintains Building Management System (BMS) for proper function and monitors the DCIM against approved benchmarks to include; HVAC, Lighting, Fire Suppression, Generator, Plumbing, and Electrical
  • Carry out routine checks for correct operation of all control equipment as directed by Facility Engineer
  • Monitor the operation of the HVAC control systems using the BMS/DCIM to monitor performance.
  • Adjust variables and provide adjustment as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters
  • Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build up a database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
  • Communicate all maintenance and repair actions in writing for information to management as required.
  • Should follow the Protocols if any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
  • Monitors and verifies operation of all BMS/DCIM field devices.
  • Adjusts BMS settings and parameters to meet changing conditions, i.e., Load, Environmental, Customer needs, etc.
  • Records maintenance data and generates reports as needed.
  • Maintains job card documentation for all Alarms or changes to systems and/or equipment.
  • Monitors of fire detection alarm system, such as smoke detector, heat detector, sprinkler, and emergency exit, in coordination with Safety Function.
  • Monitors of Water tank supply level alarm, air handling unit, fresh air handling unit.
  • Monitors and controls the Fire pump system, motors, sewage pump, electrical system, water system in the Data Center building.
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his Facility Engineer
  • Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s and keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Create the Job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per Site requirements and close the Job cards which Engineer assigns.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.
  • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV system, fire/life safety, and other systems.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
  • Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
  • Attend training sessions and seminars.
  • Other assigned tasks as requested.

Skills Required:

 

  • Working knowledge of Electrical & ELV systems including secondary distribution, HVAC System interior systems
  • Ability to read CAD Drawings, single-line diagrams, and rough shop drawings
  • Possess strong knowledge in multiple skilled trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc)
  • Requires ability to analyze the operation of various infrastructure systems, determine the cause of problems/malfunctions, and take corrective actions as required
