As Project Site Manager in our department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in  … 

Your key responsibilities  [LR2] 
 

• The Project Site Manager shall be experienced in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine and Thermal Power Plants, in overseeing and supervising the EPC Contractor’s project execution. He shall be experienced in Construction Supervision, testing and commissioning, materials procurement review, factory Inspection and other related fields to assure that the Project’s Lump sum Turnkey (LSTK) Contractor complies with the contractual requirements of the execution of the Project.
• The Project Site Manager shall be responsible for managing and coordinating the site team in carrying out the site supervision responsibilities as outlined in the scope of Owner’s Engineer contract with the Client. The Project Site Manager shall also be responsible for coordinating with the Client, the Client’s design  co-ordination team, the EPC Contractor and the Tractebel’s Home Office design review team, as necessary.
• Leading the weekly and monthly project meetings for Contractor’s works with the Client and the EPC Contractor, progress reports, ensure work compliance in accordance to approved drawings and submittals; material and equipment inspection at site, Inspection for installation and construction Works at site, pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning and startup activities until unit handover for commercial operation. Prepare punch list, NCRs and conduct QA/QC for all the Work and for health, safety, security, risk management,  Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control and civil engineering with respect to Scope of Work and Technical Specifications in accordance with local and International Codes and Standards with the support of the team of site engineers.

Bachelor degree holder in Mechanical Engineering (approved by Saudi Council of Engineers) with minimum twenty (20) years of experience in multi-national & multi-discipline Projects

Who you are   

• The Project Site Manager (Site) shall work full time for this Project and shall not be involved in any other Project or Work Assignment. He should have a minimum of twenty [20] years of experience in managing large Combined Cycle and Thermal Power Projects and his age should not be more than 55 years. He shall possess strong leadership qualities and good communication skills.
• Knowledge of all recognized International and local engineering codes and standards, directives and safety regulations such as such as ASME, ASTM, API, DIN, VGB, EN, NFPA, COMPANY ISD, HCIS, ISO, ISA, ATEX, NEC, IEC, IEEE, ACI, ANSI, ASCE, SBC, Saudi Grid Code, PME environmental, AWS, ASHRAE, OSHAH, UL, FM and other items as applicable, OEMs standards and practices including local regulations codes and standards and laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the International Standards requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, control and civil engineering related to the Scope of work and tender documents.
• Knowledge and experienced in Contract matters, contractual claims, change orders or Amendments, interpretation contractual terms and conditions.

Your mission  
As Senior Civil Works Site Engineer in our Proximity department of the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’, part of the Business Area Nuclear, you will address the technical follow-up of the civil works related to the different projects that are ongoing and will be realized in the frame of
- Long Term Operations – namely the projects associated to the life time extension of Doel 4;
- Decommissioning and Dismantling – namely both the new build and modifications associated to the final shutdown of Doel 1,  2 and 3;
- Plant Operational Support – namely the civil works assistance we deliver to the operational power plants (e.g. from maintenance works for cooling towers or other important structures, to completely new build structures, as e.g. Spent Fuel Storage Facilities);

You will join the Site Team under the mentorship of the Site Lead.

Your key responsibilities  

• interfacing between Tractebel’s back office, the Client and Contractors realizing the works;
• inspecting the Contractors’ execution activities, verifying compliance with execution drawings and documents (erection methodology etc.);
• verifying and monitoring of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements;
• management of the technical interfaces between Contractors;
• management and follow up of main design modifications;
• participation to regular meetings with the stakeholders: progress, challenges, interfaces, HSE, etc.;
• drafting work orders and site orders, issuing notes on the execution and shortcomings, and checking the progress reports prepared by the Contractors;
• continually exchanging information on developments in work, studies, etc.;

• a Master degree in civil/structural engineering;
• relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor’s environment, including design assignments and erection follow-up, preferably in an industrial environment is an advantage;
• fluency in Dutch, and either French or English;

Votre mission
Au sein de la Business Area Nucléaire, vous intégrerez la Direction Technique, dans le groupe métier Engineering Management. Cette équipe franco-belge est garante de l’expertise en coordination, intégration technique et ingénierie des systèmes complexes.

Basé(e) dans une de nos agences en France en fonction de votre lieu d'habitation, vous interviendrez sur des projets nucléaires et/ou de défense d’envergure, en France ou à l’international, au sein de groupements pluridisciplinaires et consortiums complexes. Vous serez en interaction avec une diversité de métiers techniques (génie civil, électricité, HVAC, sûreté nucléaire, essais, manutention, procédés, etc.).

Vos principales responsabilités 

Vous jouerez un rôle clé sur deux volets majeurs :

1. Coordination technique :

• Piloter la conformité aux exigences du client

• Gérer les interfaces métiers et assurer la cohérence technique

• Maîtriser la configuration et le processus de modification

• Rédiger et valider des livrables techniques multidisciplinaires

• Contribuer à la cohérence globale des études

2. Sûreté de Fonctionnement & Soutien Logistique Intégré (SDF/SLI) :

• Apporter une expertise en analyses de Fiabilité, Maintenabilité, Disponibilité et Sécurité (FMDS)

• Établir des plans de maintenance et les opérations associées

• Réaliser des analyses dysfonctionnelles (AMDEC, FMEA, FTA, etc.)

• Définir les exigences réglementaires, normatives et techniques

• Participer aux revues de design et proposer des axes d’amélioration

Par ailleurs, vous serez impliqué(e) dans :

• Le développement d’outils digitaux innovants au service de l’ingénierie

• L’intégration technique, la coordination d’études, la synthèse de conception

• Le développement d’activités et la rédaction d’offres techniques

• Diplôme d’ingénieur généraliste ou nucléaire (Bac+5)

Thanks to an increase in business activity, we are currently recruiting a Nuclear Technical Integrator for our  Engineering Management Group  that is part of the Technical Direction and Integration Department. 
 

Your mission  
The Technical Integrator role on a project (sometimes called “Technical Coordinator”) mainly consists in ensuring the technical consistency of the project deliverables and the technical excellence of the solutions developed in line with the client expectations while respecting the budget and the planning. This responsibility is of course shared with the Project Manager and the Discipline Experts working on the project.

Your key responsibilities  

• You act as a major technical interface between the Project Manager and the Discipline Experts ensuring the coordination and integration of multidisciplinary technical competences;
• You are the technical interface for the client and you play a major role in the achievement of the key deliverables such as engineering, design studies, technical specifications, white book, etc;
• You provide technical guidelines of the project for the disciplines involved. You introduce adequate hold points and design reviews within a project and perform technical review for ensuring the general consistency of project deliverables;
• You anticipate problems and customer needs for the different disciplines; identifying and managing technical risks and non-conformities. You manage efficiently the technical interfaces between technical disciplines and contractual packages;
• You draft general and multidisciplinary technical and/or contractual documents on basis of the inputs of different disciplines and project stakeholders (including Customer);
• You contribute to the further development of the multidisciplinary competences by indicating areas for improvement and integrating lessons learnt. 

We would love to hear from people with  
 

• A master in Engineering;
• A general knowledge of nuclear installations of PWR or BWR designs (nuclear island and/or  conventional island and/or balance of plant), developed through participation in power plant projects for 5 years;
• An experience in the new designs of nuclear power plants (Generation III, Generation IV, SMR,…) is an asset;
• An outstanding judgment, organization and decision making skills;
• A basic knowledge of project management techniques and have coordination skills;
• The capacity to integrate various disciplines (process, safety, mechanical, electrical, I&C, fuel, civil works, site constraints, contractual aspects, basic legal and financial principles, etc.)  in order to ensure the technical performance of a project;You have several years of experience in at least one of these disciplines;
• An  interest in international projects;

As a Technical Integrator profile you have sufficient expertise to integrate the various disciplines of your project(s) (process, safety, mechanical, electrical, I&C, fuel, civil works, site constraints, contractual aspects, basic legal and financial principles, etc) in order to ensure the technical performance of a project. Ta mission 

En tant qu’alternant ingénieur projet dans notre département nucléaire, tu contribueras tous les jours à notre mission en accompagnant ton tuteur /ton équipe dans les missions suivantes :

• Assister le chef de projet dans le suivi des missions liées à la gestion de projets nucléaires, en veillant à la conformité avec les réglementations en vigueur.
• Collaborer avec les ingénieurs projets pour la préparation et la mise à jour des documents techniques, en intégrant les spécificités nucléaires et les exigences normatives.
• Réaliser des analyses de risques et participer à la gestion de la sûreté nucléaire dans le cadre du projet, en respectant les protocoles de sécurité.

Ce que tu vas développer

• Tu développeras des compétences approfondies dans la gestion de projets nucléaires, en contribuant à la planification, l'organisation et le suivi des activités liées aux projets de construction et de maintenance.
• Tu participeras à l'analyse des risques et à la mise en œuvre des actions de prévention pour garantir la sûreté nucléaire, en veillant à respecter les exigences réglementaires.
• Tu collaboreras avec les équipes pour optimiser les performances du système de management de la qualité, en mettant l'accent sur la sécurité et la gestion des risques dans le cadre des projets nucléaires

Qui es-tu

• Tu es actuellement en dernière année de formation Master en Mangement ou dans une école d’ingénieur telle que Arts et Métier, IAE, Centrale, Polytech.
• Tu as des compétences informatiques en Excel.
• Tu as également une capacité d’analyse avec une bonne expression oral et écrite.
• Tu parles couramment français et tu as une bonne maîtrise du français.

Ta mission 

En tant qu’alternant Assistant Chef de Projet dans notre département nucléaire, tu contribueras tous les jours à notre mission en accompagnant ton tuteur /ton équipe dans les missions suivantes :

• Assurer l'appui aux missions de l'ingénieur projet en apportant un soutien technique et stratégique pour la bonne réalisation des projets.
• Contribuer à l'appui des missions du Chef de projet/Directeur de projet en coordonnant les ressources et en assurant le suivi des projets.

Ce que tu vas développer

• Tu développeras des compétences approfondies dans le domaine du nucléaire, en contribuant à la gestion aux projets nucléaires. 
• Tu participerais à l'optimisation de la gestion de projet.

Qui es-tu

• Tu es actuellement en dernière année de formation Bac+5.
• Tu as des compétences informatiques en Pack Office.
• Tu as également une capacité de communication, d’engagement, des cultures techniques.
• Tu parles couramment français et tu as une bonne maîtrise du français.
