Context:

The GEM Back Office Department is looking for an apprentice within the Trading Support team, you will be managing Day to day Operations on Gas, Power, Oil and Emission trades

 

Role:

  • you reconcile & validate deals inputted by Sales and Traders (OTC & Exchanges).
  • you manage daily Margin Calls for OTC and Cleared deals
  • you are checking Derivatives Products bookings & expiry levels.                                                                   
  • you are responsible for issuing and matching Deal Confirmations, Invoices & Settlements.
  • you liaise with Front Office & other Support Functions for a better Trading Floor activities understanding.
  • you will assist team on day to day tasks.                                                                                                                                                                     
  • you will chaise counterparties regarding confirmations and late payment.
  • you will cooperate with the other departments.                                                                                                                                                  
  • you will handle requests received in the mailbox.

 

 

Hard skills:

  • Client focused and willing to have extensive interactions with Sales, Trading, Market Risk, Finance.
  • Knowledge of OTC & Cleared Derivative and Transaction Cycle.

Context:

The Back-office Department ensures the management of energy sales/purchase contracts (gas, electricity), invoicing, confirmation of deals, confirmation of payments, monitoring of unpaids, reporting of KPIs, etc.

A true transmission belt between the sale/purchases of energy and services and financial management, the Back Office is a key player at the heart of the operational chain. More specifically, the Back Office Global Energy Management team manages the portfolio of Gas, Electricity and Service supply contracts signed with major industrial accounts in France.

 

The Back Officer provides operational support to the Front Office and finance teams, particularly in the invoicing process, financial reporting relating to the contract portfolios managed by the team facing Engie SA and its various entities, manages and monitors the IT developments of the processes related to improving team activity.

 

Role:

Daily Production

  • Management of invoicing in GEM and Group systems
  • Management of confirmations
  • Management of unpaids
  • Incident monitoring , action plans identification and implementations

Optimisation of operational processes

  • Development of reporting and relevant indicators to monitor activity
  • Monitoring the implementation of internal audit recommendations
  • Active contribution to the standardisation, security and digitalisation of operational processes
  • Writing and updating procedures, operating methods, training materials, etc.
  • Daily collaboration with internal clients (Finance, FO, BP), accounting, IT teams, and the multiple entities that provide us with data for invoicing and deal validation

Votre mission

En tant qu’Ingénieur Nucléaire Petits Réacteurs Modulaires et Avancés (SMR/AMR) au sein de notre département Sûreté et Ingénierie Nucléaire, vous contribuerez chaque jour à notre mission en jouant un rôle crucial dans la coordination transverse des activités de notre équipe dédiée aux projets SMR/AMR.

Vos principales responsabilités

  • Soutenir l’Ingénieur responsable des activités SMR/AMR du département.
  • Coordonner les réponses techniques aux appels d’offres SMR/AMR pour fournir des retours consolidés aux équipes commerciales et projets.
  • Estimer et analyser les efforts requis sur les périmètres SMR/AMR afin d’aider les responsables d’équipes dans leur gestion de charge.
  • Animer des réunions internes pour partager des retours d’expériences, diffuser les bonnes pratiques et assurer le suivi des activités R&D sur les SMR/AMR.

Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes ayant

  • Un diplôme de Master Ingénieur (civil ou industriel) ou une équivalence acquise par l’expérience.
  • 5 ans d’expérience dans le secteur de l’industrie nucléaire, de préférence en ingénierie.
  • Une expérience en gestion d’équipes multidisciplinaires est un plus.
  • Une expertise spécifique en sûreté nucléaire et/ou SMR/AMR serait un atout majeur.

Context:

The Expertise Center (EC) Quantitative Research and Modeling (QRM) within GEMS is a team of 30 quantitative analysts. Its mission is to provide advanced quantitative expertise to all Business Platforms (BP) of GEMS.

The quantitative analyst would be part of the “Gas & Oil” quant team (approx. 10 people) but fully dedicated to Gas Supply & Trading (GST) Business Platform (BP). Within this BP, the midstream and upstream gas trading desks are risk managing complex assets in the financial markets, on behalf of internal and external clients.

 


 Role:

The Quantitative Analyst will be focused on the activities of Gas Supply and Trading desks.
The Quantitative Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining the models that guide our financial and physical trading, portfolio management and risk assessment activities. 

This role is an opportunity to directly apply advanced modelling techniques as part of a highly quantitative team, with extensive experience on derivatives pricing, risk management and trading.

 The team will rely on him/her to be a real value added to the team, as a support on diverse modelling challenges. He/she will contribute to the whole valuation and risk management chain of a derivatives portfolio.

 

The Quantitative Analyst, will be responsible for the following:

  • Generate end to end model development and design from data preparation to the build & implementation, validation and calibration of derivatives pricing models
  • Theoretical development of appropriate pricing formulas of each derivative traded
    • Conceptual soundness of the modelling framework
    • Consistency with market practice
    • Proofs and mathematical evidence of formulas
    • Documentation of the methodology
  • Implementation of the pricing and risk management engines into an official pricing library
    • Insure the performance of the algorithms used
    • Insure the quality of the code produced
    • Test every new functionality
    • Respect coding conventions and best practices
  • Analysis of the portfolios, perform stress tests and relevant risk analysis

 

  • He/She will be in direct contact with Traders, understand their business needs, provide them with quantitative support in their day-to-day activities, define model needs, translate them into development features
  • He/She will collaborate with other Quants, to exchange about models, new ideas, in order to leverage on the knowledge from peers

GET – SAP CO Expert (M/F)

The head office is based in Courbevoie (La Défense), but the physical presence on the head office is not mandatory. We are also looking for international profiles.

 

The GET program aims to deliver the future business and IT core model with a central “one ERP / One ARIBA” platform. The functional context of the program covers a set of functional areas including accounting, controlling and procurement as main areas.

The GET program offers a unique opportunity to onboard on one of the most ambitious and strategic Enterprise transformation programs with a very high IT footprint with S/4 & SAP ARIBA as central IT components. Innovation is at the heart of GET Program with an ambition to implement a best in class processes & solution.

The SAP CO expert role is proposed to reinforce the internal team supporting the core model delivery and coordinating the pilots/rollouts.

This role will be N-2 to GET IT Lead and directly reporting to the core model IT lead.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bring expertise on SAP FICO with major on FI
  • Help the business teams in business requirement definition and ensure coherence with the SAP S/4 capabilities
  • Responsible for reviewing the integrator delivery and challenge the proposed solutions
  • Align with the business team to ensure the proposed solution is aligned with the core model and the program guidelines
  • Work with the integrator teams and SAP teams to secure design authority presentations for arbitrations

Au sein de la Direction Financière, la Direction des Investissements et Acquisitions (Acquisitions, Investments & Financial Advisory, AIFA) contribue entre autres aux projets de développement et de cessions du Groupe.

AIFA recherche un(e) stagiaire conseiller financier au sein des équipes AIFA France et AIFA Europe de l’Est / Europe de l’Ouest, dont les différentes missions pourront être les suivantes :

  • Participer à l’évaluation financière des projets d’investissements, acquisitions et cessions du groupe : valorisation, structuration, négociation, mesure de l’impact sur les comptes consolidés du Groupe, et le cas échéant mise en œuvre et du financement des projets,
  • Contribuer aux études relatives aux projets de développement et de cession d’actifs sur ces périmètres,
  • Participer à l’élaboration des dossiers de présentation aux différents comités,
  • Être associé(e) aux échanges avec les banques ou toutes autres entités pouvant être impliquées dans les dossiers de financement de projets, à la négociation des conditions et à l'organisation des montages adaptés,
  • Être impliqué(e) dans les travaux sur les méthodes de valorisation du groupe,
  • Participer aux travaux de valorisation « d’impairment test » sur les périmètres cités et, d’une manière générale contribuer aux études transverses et « retour d’expérience » menées par AIFA.

Sous la responsabilité hiérarchique des responsables AIFA France / Europe de l’Est / Europe de l’Ouest.

 

 

Durée

 

Stage de 6 mois.

Démarrage : juillet / septembre 2025.

 

Profil recherché

 

Grande école de commerce ou d’ingénieur.

Un intérêt pour les métiers du Groupe sera apprécié.

Le candidat doit faire preuve de bonnes capacités d’analyse et de synthèse, et d’une grande adaptabilité.

Connaissance des techniques de valorisation d’entreprises et de financement de projets.

Anglais obligatoire. Une deuxième langue est un plus.
