Job Overview

 

The Field Operation Specialist is fundamental to the successful implementation of the Customer Finance Strategy with regards to efficient management of customer loan repayments. S/he is integral to the implementation of sustainable collections activities targeted at collections effectiveness and loss reduction. The role is responsible to the Implementation/execution of credit risk mitigation initiatives, encompassing credit culture enhancement, arrears collection and custody of delinquent assets. The role reports into the Collections Manager , S/he will work cross-functionally with commercial, operations, and field teams on the ground.

 

Job Description

 

Portfolio Management

  • Responsible for Portfolio management of Active & PAR loans  in the regions assigned.
  • Implement collections initiatives and projects according to Collections  strategies in the zone.
  • Actively identify and escalate immediate & long-term regional portfolio risks and coordinate timely solution-based actions to closure.
  • Receive and escalate feedback on Portfolio Performance from all key stakeholders in the regions.
  • Monitor early warning credit KPIs and devise contingency plans to manage losses proactively for the regions. – Par10@2MOB,FMP,PVE,IDR
  • Ensure there is month on month reduction on bad debts across the region through cross functional initiatives.
  • Suggest new indicators to help steer customer repayment behavior.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive high integrity & ethics in the Customer facing staff involved in repayments (FTE or Contract) by implementing risk mitigating policies in place.
  • Enforce control mechanisms in place for satisfactory quality assurance on Policies & SOPs.
  • Conduct trainings regarding credit KPIs for the field teams across the zone.
  • Offer proactive support during Credit campaign to drive repayments growth and loss reduction, this includes training, sharing correct information, feedback and campaign performance reports.
  • Generate innovative ideas to improve team involvement in portfolio ownership & management in the region.
  • Devise & Implement credit management initiatives in cost efficient manner to maximize ROI across assigned zone.
  • Responsible for improving collections and meet monthly targets.

 

Team Management

  • Oversee the work of the Collections field teams
  • Indirectly oversee the activities and productivity of all Mysol Agents supporting their daily activities with data on Portfolio Health.
  • Month on month improvement on number active Mysol champs in Green customer PH.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum University degree in Business administration or related field
  • 2+ years’ work collections and recoveries, credit support or similar, particularly in sectors like Retail financial services or any related field.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary, diverse teams.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in one or more local languages spoken by our customers is a big plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to use analytical and problem-solving skills in a customer-focused context and English.
  • Self-motivated and ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision

Job Overview

 

The Customer Finance Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our largely  unbanked customers in completing their loans and getting continued access to clean, reliable energy. The team works cross-functionally with our commercial, customer experience, product development and operations on the ground to ensure that we provide all customers with successful responsible onboarding and offer constant support through adequate monitoring and interventions all the way through the lifetime of our customers’ loans. The Credit Assessment Officer role provides an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to have a direct impact on how we are revolutionizing credit and financial inclusion for the base of the pyramid. S/He will work closely with the Credit Risk Manager, customer finance team and the commercial team around credit risk analysis, and they are required to review the financial status of new and existing customers to determine their level of risk and make recommendations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CF team on carrying out accurate KYC, ensuring correct capturing of IDs,
  • Customer Photos, financial documentations etc
  • Analysis of Customer financial status by checking based of customer financial records (Bank statement/Mobile money statements, etc.)
  • Assessing loan qualification for customers under review
  • Assessing customer financial and personal details about the ability to repay the acquired
  • loan using the system assessment tool.
  • Educating customers on current payments terms again and giving them the terms and
  • conditions governing the acquired loan.
  • Communicate the assessment results to the applicants and sales team in a timely matter.
  • Ensure all applied customers are assessed within SLA timelines
  • Reviewing the credit limits of existing customers to determine if they qualify for an upgrade
  • in their credit limit.
  • Payoff off the customer cleared accounts.
  • Educating CF Call center, sales team & field staff on applicable policies guidelines,
  • processes, and procedures.
  • Resolution of customer queries & key stakeholder managements
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by Manager or Departmental Head

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of KYC and other risk management tools
  • Ability to analyze financial data
  • To analyze processes/ performance and make suggestions & improvements is a big plus
  • Ability to demonstrate proactivity and independent task execution
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in one or more languages spoken by our customers is a big plus
  • Flexibility with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

 

Qualifications

  • 2years minimum work experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related qualification
  • Work experience in related areas such as energy access, last-mile product financing,
  • microfinance or digital financial services is a big plus
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to details and able to assess risk while protecting the

As the Quality and EHS Analyst II within ENGIE North America’s Flexible Generation (FlexGen) Business Unit, your role involves contributing to the Quality and EHS program within the company’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets across the USA. To complete this, you'll be tasked with QA inspections, procedure creation, and training management.

 

Reporting to the Manager of Performance & Reliability, your primary duties encompass:

 

  • Develop yearly preventative maintenance plans & checklists for the entire fleet and perform in-progress audits. Also, perform preventative maintenance checklist and supporting documentation audits for all cycles
  • Plan for yearly consumables according to applicable site preventative maintenance cycles
  • Create and update Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)/equipment requirements, and other health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
  • Develop the training schedule and competency requirements for the field service team, including the creation and delivery of internal training programs
  • Conduct safety and quality audits at operational sites and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Support QA inspections for new sites and equipment, including substations, battery energy storage systems, and power conversion systems
  • Utilize insights from the operating fleet to enhance QA processes for new installations

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum high school diploma or technical certificate
  • Minimum of two (2) years of operations experience at power plants (Wind, Solar, BESS experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of electrical equipment commonly found on BESS sites (PCS, batteries, transformers, breakers/switches, relays, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics/diagrams.
  • Strong familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, UL, NETA, etc. standards
  • Strong understanding of asset preventative maintenance requirements in a power generation facility

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Solar Site located near Goliad, TX.  

 

As a Solar Technician, your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs.

 

  • Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
  • Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings
  • While you will primarily work independently on-site, there will always be a nearby technician for safety support; the site's team comprises of a site manager, a Balance of Plant technician, and the solar technician
  • You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned Alternating Current (AC) / Direct Current (DC) electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites
  • Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification by AVO as substation technician within 12 months of hire date

The Construction/Engineer Intern is a critical role responsible for supporting the development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy at large-scale public sector customers. You will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, at the direction of the Project Manager as well as their supervisor. Responsibilities in this role include engagement in design of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures, performing site audits with mentors, and completing savings calculations with oversight from mentors to support projects in development and construction. Projects include a combination of energy efficiency measures and renewable generation installations, to help local cities and counties become more sustainable, save money, and improve services to their end-users and the expectation is that one to several projects are supported from early development through post-construction.

 

The intern will support ongoing projects in development or in construction which will include one or more of the following:

  • Participate in technical design of energy-related customer improvements including such as solar PV, energy storage, microgrids, energy efficiency, and SCADA upgrades
  • Learn and apply knowledge of HVAC and Controls, including modeling software
  • Analyze utility data to verify existing customer loads, consider rate change options, and calculate energy and water cost savings
  • Perform renewable energy designs, including solar PV and energy storage system site surveys, and understand metering and measurement tools and data
  • Evaluate various types and locations of renewable energy systems
  • Perform energy conservation measure analysis including a comparison of technologies, savings calculations, scopes of work, and contractor bid costs for HVAC, controls, lighting, and water measures, using tools such as eQuest, Trane Trace, Energy Pro, and Excel spreadsheets, including bin simulations
  • Calculate potential solar generation quantities of various scenarios using PVSyst modeling, Helioscope and Energy Toolbase tools
  • Support the preparation of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures scopes and specifications for subcontractor Request for Proposals
  • Prepare utility and other incentive program applications, permit packages, and customer submittals
  • Assist the Project and Construction Managers on job walks, bid evaluations, contractor negotiations, and during construction meetings
  • Assist with obtaining third-party quotes and subcontractor bids for all scopes, answers third-party questions, and assists with analyzing bids with Project Manager
  • Estimate and measure costs to anticipate total project costs
  • Assist during the construction phase of the project by reviewing submittals, change orders, RFI’s, and making recommendations to the Project Manager. Prior experience with Procore Construction Management software is a plus
  • Going to job sites to support construction activities as needed and directed by the ENGIE Construction Manager.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

What You Can Expect

The Construction/Engineer Intern is a critical role responsible for supporting the development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy at large-scale public sector customers. You will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, at the direction of the Project Manager as well as their supervisor. Responsibilities in this role include engagement in design of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures, performing site audits with mentors, and completing savings calculations with oversight from mentors to support projects in development and construction. Projects include a combination of energy efficiency measures and renewable generation installations, to help local cities and counties become more sustainable, save money, and improve services to their end-users and the expectation is that one to several projects are supported from early development through post-construction.

 

The intern will support ongoing projects in development or in construction which will include one or more of the following:

  • Participate in technical design of energy-related customer improvements including such as solar PV, energy storage, microgrids, energy efficiency, and SCADA upgrades
  • Learn and apply knowledge of HVAC and Controls, including modeling software
  • Analyze utility data to verify existing customer loads, consider rate change options, and calculate energy and water cost savings
  • Perform renewable energy designs, including solar PV and energy storage system site surveys, and understand metering and measurement tools and data
  • Evaluate various types and locations of renewable energy systems
  • Perform energy conservation measure analysis including a comparison of technologies, savings calculations, scopes of work, and contractor bid costs for HVAC, controls, lighting, and water measures, using tools such as eQuest, Trane Trace, Energy Pro, and Excel spreadsheets, including bin simulations
  • Calculate potential solar generation quantities of various scenarios using PVSyst modeling, Helioscope and Energy Toolbase tools
  • Support the preparation of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures scopes and specifications for subcontractor Request for Proposals
  • Prepare utility and other incentive program applications, permit packages, and customer submittals
  • Assist the Project and Construction Managers on job walks, bid evaluations, contractor negotiations, and during construction meetings
  • Assist with obtaining third-party quotes and subcontractor bids for all scopes, answers third-party questions, and assists with analyzing bids with Project Manager
  • Estimate and measure costs to anticipate total project costs
  • Assist during the construction phase of the project by reviewing submittals, change orders, RFI’s, and making recommendations to the Project Manager. Prior experience with Procore Construction Management software is a plus
  • Going to job sites to support construction activities as needed and directed by the ENGIE Construction Manager
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Currently be enrolled in the Salinas Union High School District
  • You are 16 years or older and an enrolled student or graduating senior
  • Construction or Engineering pathways strongly preferred
  • Must be in good academic standing at the start of the internship period
  • Internship duration is for the Winter/Spring or Summer  2025 (start dates can be anytime from January through the early June with internship completing by August 2025)  We will work around your schedule if your internship begins during the school year

 

 

Additional Details

  • This is an in-office and in-field position.  Intern is expected to be on-site at the office or at a job site
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to travel to job sites
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
  • This position consist of 60% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

 

 

Compensation

Hourly Range:  $20.00 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
