What You Can Expect

As our Acquisitions Investment Financial Advisory (AIFA) Intern, you will be involved in project financial analyses to guide the investment for greenfield investments and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects. You will work a hybrid schedule from our Houston, TX or Chicago, IL offices.  This internship is for the Summer semester from May 2024 to August 2024.

 

Among your day to day activities you will support the AIFA project team in topics such as valuation, structuring guidance, commercial agreements, risk allocation, bankability of contracts, financing alternatives, management updates and expected investment returns throughout the business development process of investments, mergers and acquisition, and project financing plans.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Enrolled in one of the following fields: Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math, or a STEM- focused degree program where you have learned project management, project financing, investments, equity, mergers, acquisitions, power, energy, or renewable market skills
  • Desire to obtain your CFA
  • Financial modeling skills, including a project finance and accounting component, with a strong proficiency working in EXCEL is required
  • Knowledge of US merchant power markets drivers, hedging instruments, Tax Equity Structures, and IRS requirements
  • Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing detailed, Excel-based, financial models
  • Proven flexible team player who works well with others
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and to work effectively under pressure

Compensation

Salary Range:  $21.00 - $34.00 USD/hourly

As our Commission Intern, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payments and reporting to our internal stakeholders and external broker partners. This internship position requires self-management to complete routine tasks that affect financial reporting and data integrity accurately and on time. As a Land Agent II, you will support the Land Acquisition team to develop land acquisition strategies for greenfield projects, existing project initiatives, and the acquisition of projects dedicated to renewable energy. What You Will Bring

  • You will work with Company’s management to develop land acquisition strategies for green field projects, existing project and project acquisitions
  • You have obtained source documentation needed for easements or leases from public records located in county courthouses or abstract offices
  • You have negotiated and acquired easements/leases for wind energy development and related agreements from project landowners with a comprehensive understanding of the terms and conditions of the Company’s land agreements
  • You have organized documents, records, and files pertaining to each project and landowner assigned to you Engage with and assist the project manager with surface use agreements and other issues as they arise
  • You have managed land inventory by communicating with landowners for the development team to prepare for construction of projects
  • You understand real estate matters and stay up to date with applicable federal, state, or local regulations as they relate to the development of the projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Green IT Data Base, Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of Access/database
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy in attention to detail

 

 

Additional Details

  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 60% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; for car rentals while performing company business

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $128,800 USD annually

Les activités du poste regroupent, entre autres, le suivi et l’appui au pilotage budgétaire d’un ou plusieurs domaines de la DSI, la définition, l'analyse des coûts de production, la ventilation de ces coûts en comptabilité analytique ainsi que les activités gestion et de pilotage de contrat avec des fournisseurs d’activité mixtes (ENEDIS, EDF) ou intra-groupe (Storengy, Elengy). 

 

Ainsi, au sein du Pôle Management de la Performance, vous appuyez  le management d’un ou plusieurs Domaines de la DSI dans le pilotage de la performance économique sur le périmètre concerné, au travers des missions principales suivantes :

Savoir-faire :

  • ­Très bonne connaissance des outils bureautiques - en particulier Excel - et des outils de travail collaboratif (Sharepoint),

  • ­L’expérience Contrôle de gestion dans le SI est un plus,

Riporterai allo Strategic Product Manager e, in coordinamento con il team Energy, affiancherai i nostri Manager nella gestione dei prodotti durante il loro ciclo di vita, raccogliendo e assegnando le priorità ai requisiti d’offerta, supporterai la vision del prodotto e lavorerai a stretto contatto con team trasversali per fornire soluzioni vincenti generando un maggiore turnover.

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Supportare l’implementazione e sviluppo di nuove Value Proposition d’offerta (Luce, Gas e Servizi di efficienza energetica per la casa): dall’identificazione del target, alla definizione del business plan, del concept d’offerta ed il suo testing, fino alla definizione del processo di vendita e la gestione delle attività di go-to-market necessarie ad andare sul mercato;

 

  • Sviluppare dentro il team expertise elementi distintivi rispetto ai competitor;

  • Engage with the Spot Trading, Forward Trading, Portfolio and Commercial teams to develop and support quantitative tools for Australian Gas and Electricity physical and contract markets
  • Support the development, maintenance and quality control for quantitative models including Load Forecasts, Asset Operation Optimisation, Contract, Option and Complex Products Valuations.
  • Work together with Head of Analytics or Principal Analyst Quantitative Modelling on complex, ill-defined tasks (i.e. gather requirements, come up with design, implement and test)
  • Ensure that the analytical work is complete to a high standard and on time, while regularly communicating the status of the project to Principal Analyst Quantitative Modelling
  • Run analytics and data processes for internal stakeholders ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop and automate reports
  • Proactively suggest new possibilities for analytics/projects to the Principal Analyst Quantitative Modelling

To be successful in this role, you will bring forward your technical programming skills including experience in SQL, Microsoft Excel and coding in R and Python, ideally in the energy industry.

VOS FUTURES MISSIONS

 

Vous serez responsable du pilotage de l’ensemble des phases projet :

 

-    Etude de cadrage : Construction de la stratégie globale et de rationalisation des offres MADC 
-    Instruction des besoins : définition des solutions transverses (cartographie fonctionnelle & applicative, diagramme de séquences…) portage des impacts auprès des différentes applications en garantissant la cohérence transverse
-    Définition de la stratégie de recette globale et déroulement des recettes transverses et stratégie de déploiement et préparer le RUN

VOTRE PROFIL

 

De formation Bac+5 en Informatique, vous justifiez d’une expérience réussie d’au moins 6 ans dans un poste similaire.
Vous savez piloter une équipe, avez pu développer un background technique solide (idéalement expérience en développement) et disposez d’une bonne connaissance des architectures n-Tiers, des APIs et solutions web, vous maîtrisez les architectures fonctionnelles complexes.

Job Summary

  • Perform chemical analysis to monitor boiler water quality and take immediate action if it deviates from specifications.
  • Operate and maintain the steam boiler to achieve and sustain the required pressure and temperatures.
  • Oversee day-to-day boiler operations and configure it to meet production targets.
  • Maintain good housekeeping (5S) at the boiler's premises and strictly adhere to safety procedures at all times.
  • Initiate, coordinate, control and contribute hands-on for the service quality delivery of the O&M team and/or subcontractors-suppliers service activities executed on the site UPF for:  
  • The daily routine and measure checks, operations activities as well as predictive, preventive maintenance interventions on the UPF, 
  • Any customer complaints, breakdowns, faults & troubleshooting activities on the UPF, 
  • The corrective maintenance interventions work orders and the agreed UPF repair modification or improvement M&E works,

What You Can Expect

The Construction Project Field Manager (PFM) is responsible for providing quality assurance and safety oversight of the activities and installation of the construction of utility scale projects by the EPC/BOP contractor, Its subcontractor, and supplier. The PFM will comply with ENGIE Delivery Standard Operating Procedures throughout the progress of construction activities and supervise the Field Observers on the ENGIE site team. The PFM will be accountable to the Project Manager for assigned grid scale project(s).

 

 

  • Every day in this role you will represent ENGIE as overall monitoring project site manager reporting to the Project Manager for project related issues, concerns, and achievements
  • Direct and coordinate activities of assigned field Observers
  • Train and mentor teams members on key activities including but not limited to contractor monitoring, inspections, observations, reporting, and safety management
  • Provide input to Project Manager(s) and Construction Management Advisor on selection and evaluation of ENGIE site team members
  • Direct and coordinate activities of assigned field Observers
  • Work collaboratively with owner’s project manager to oversee and coordinate contractor scopes of work
  • Perform daily site walks/drives for overall progress, safety, and quality verification. Perform joint safety and quality inspections with the EPC and supplier counterparts
  • Attend preconstruction meetings with all involved construction entities as required
  • Attend weekly progress meetings to be held by EPC contractor as well as owner’s internal stake holders to include but not limited to safety and quality roundtable discussions with other project sites
  • Attend monthly progress meetings to be held by EPC contractor as well as owner’s internal stakeholders
  • Perform constructability reviews of projects in early design phase
  • Input and review during the design process through IFC
  • Review designs, construction sequence plans, and proposed schedule for each phase of construction
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and submit to stake holders
  • Ensure construction work complies with all applicable plans, specifications, building codes and other legal or regulatory requirements
  • Collect, verify, and report on completeness of required safety process documentation from each contractor on site, review any unsatisfactory results and provide reporting for entire project through designated channels
  • Manage relationships with owner’s clients and stakeholders
  • Represent ENGIE as facilitator for resolution of project conflicts such as construction problems, scheduling delays, logistical conflicts, and construction methods
  • Work directly with project managers, EPC contractor, other contractors, module and MPT suppliers, engineers, vendors, and others as required
  • Coordinate and lead weekly progress meetings with contractors, engineers, and key stake holders
  • Complete daily logs, construction reports, safety inspections, and various construction inspections
  • Complete a review of all job books submitted to validate all deliverable items are included, including all pertinent testing results
  • Utilize Procore for all project related documents and enter lessons learned module to capture and record lessons learned during the construction phase
  • Coordinate final inspections, testing, commissioning, and walk-downs and establish final punch list
  • Proactively identify areas of potential risk and identify design or construction elements likely to result in disputes or claims
  • Observe delivery of major equipment and provide general physical inspection including shock sensors, dents, scratches, and/or any other obvious physical damage
  • Monitor proper storage and security of materials and Equipment Prepare regular progress reports in accordance with project execution procedures (PEP) outline
  • Provide real-time updates on key construction activities such as site clearing/grading and other civil works, access roads, solar array construction, AC and DC collection systems, transmission lines and substation via GIS-based system provided by owner

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

  • Minimum of two years’ experience of Construction Site Management experience with constructing renewables projects
  • Experience with managing projects larger than 100MW
  • OSHA 30 hour certification
  • Strong background with renewable construction projects
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Proficient with PROCORE
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing

Additional Details

  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 100% of the time

Compensation

Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
