What You Can Expect

As a Senior Confirmation Analyst in Houston, you will report to Risk Control Manager and perform Confirmation functions across various dynamic business units, trading platforms and systems.  You will support Trade Capture and various business processes via the Risk Management System.  You will act as liaison between various departments and groups for added efficiencies and problem resolution. 

 

Perform various Confirmation tasks including but not limited to:

  • Generate ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA) confirmation and send out to counterparty
  • Reconcile Broker and Counterparty confirmations against Aligne with accuracy.  Trading Platform tie outs [ICE, NODAL, CME]
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls/policies, and maintaining accurate records
  • SDR reporting – Responsible for the Dodd Frank SDR reporting to ICE Trade Vault.  Must coordinate with Trade Vault, commercial, compliance, MR and legal to ensure accurate and timely reporting along with appropriate documentation
  • Reconcile and approve Broker invoices - Perform monthly tie out of EEMNA OTC Broker invoices processed in Coupa against the Aligne broker fees report relying on Trade Control’s existing procedure manual.  Coordinates with the Broker and / or the Trader if needed for any variances.  Once the invoice is tied out, approves the invoice for payment in Coupa in order for payment to be processed by ENGIE North America (NA) Accounts Payable team 
  • Process daily trade exceptions and works with various business functions to reach a resolution or document appropriately – Executes the Daily Exception report as part of the End of Day Closing process using standard Aligne reports.  Reviews / investigates all exceptions and works with Traders, MR/MO, Legal, Credit etc. to resolve any outstanding issues before the final End of Day Reports are run. Documents any items that are outside of the normal resolution process for management by relying on the Trade Control’s existing procedure manual in order to publish the final report to MR/MO, Legal, Credit and Trade Control
  • Manages online trading platform access, including coordination of user accounts
  • Performs ad-hoc Aligne updates for various business groups as it relates to deal entry (Cuts, Invoicing variances, contract mismatches, group tagging, etc)
  • Assists Accounting, Scheduling, Trading, Credit and MRPC using Aligne to trouble shoot deal entry errors, perform deal tagging and creating ETB templates by relying on the Trade Control’s existing procedure manual in order to facilitate to the end of day close process for P&L and position reporting  
  • Publishes monthly reports to the Financial Reporting group (MTM for Trading, Broker Fees in multiple views, User Fees for ICE, etc) - Provides the Financial reporting group with the P&L report, broker fees reports and ICE user fee report  as of the last business day of the month using Aligne, Excel and online platforms  by relying on Trade Control’s existing procedure manual in order for Accounting to record the entries for the month end close. 
  • Trade Control Emergency Preparedness delegate - Attends Emergency Preparedness meetings on behalf of Trade Control when they are scheduled and deploys to the Emergency Preparedness off-site facility.  Delegate is responsible for coordinating all Trade Control related activity while using the company’s laptop while relying on the Emergency Preparedness policy in order to ensure all transactions are captured and accounted for in Aligne
  • Actualizes REC transactions upon notification of physical delivery. - Actualizes REC deals, runs ad-hoc reports and processes revision emails using Aligne relying on receipt of REC delivery notification emails from the Commercial group in order to reflect the correct delivery dates in Aligne
  • Assist with gathering documentation for external and internal audit requests. -Collect deal portfolio documents requested by internal and external auditors using manual and electronic filing storage areas relying on email requests in order to provide requested documents for audit purposes
  • Performs various end of day processes to include some reporting in support of Trade Control
  • Enter deal revisions into Energy Trade Blotter - Perform deal revisions in risk system using Energy Trade Blotter in Aligne relying on revision request by executing Trader and/or confirmation documentation in order to revise incorrect deal data 
  • Work in time sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines.  Includes some weekends and holidays
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with others inside and outside of ENGIE Energy Marketing, NA.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in which you completed courses in related disciples  
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize various requests
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and other MS Office suite products

Salary Range: $86,100 – $132,020 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As our Senior Business Development Manager for Indirect Sales, your primary objective will be to manage third-party sales (indirect partner relationships) for ENGIE North America Inc.'s retail products to Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers. In this role, you will work with brokers and channel partners across multi-ISO markets. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing broker relationships with key partners to acquire, retain, and grow a book of business, meeting and exceeding sales goals. You will also develop Annual Sales Plans for assigned brokers with strategies to increase regional commodity sales along with renewable offerings. This hybrid role requires three days a week in the office, reports to the Regional Vice President of Sales, and is based in Houston, TX.

 

  • Present, negotiate, and structure complex commodity transactions, using knowledge of renewable commodity offerings to advance ENGIE’s zero-carbon targets through assigned brokers
  • Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators by leveraging knowledge of deregulated energy markets and competitor insights
  • Break down supply proposals for an "apples to apples" comparison by thoroughly understanding ISO deregulated markets, energy components, and product offerings
  • Coordinate and manage various internal processes and resources, including Legal, Credit, Supply, Business Controls, and Operations, to close transactions and deliver expected results
  • Collaborate with brokers and Key Account Team members to gain an in-depth understanding of product needs, escalate service issues, and provide competitive feedback to ensure best-in-class service and improved transaction success

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of sales management experience within the retail energy industry or related field
  • You have broker/channel partner experience
  • You possess strong communication and effective negotiation skills, and interact well with executive-level decision makers
  • You are self-driven and capable of quickly learning new products, processes, and systems
  • You are knowledgeable about the market and competitors, allowing you to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators, and establish strong direct and indirect relationships to acquire and retain a book of business to meet and exceed goals

Dacă ești o persoană  pasionată de marketing digital şi vrei să înțelegi cum iau naștere campaniile care inspiră schimbare și inovează în domeniul energiei, acest program este pentru tine! 

Fie că vii dintr-un background economic, comunicare, marketing sau dintr-unul mai tehnic, precum cibernetică sau inginerie, dacă ai un interes real pentru digital și îți dorești să pui în practică ce ai învățat, vino alături de noi!

Pe parcursul unui an, îți vei desfășura activitatea în  Departamentul de Digital Marketing undevei avea ocazia să aplici practic cunoștințele din facultate.

 

Cum ar trebui să fii?

  • Pasionat/ă de digital marketing și dornic/ă să înțelegi mecanismele din spatele campaniilor;
  • Comfortabil/ă cu cifrele și analiza datelor – îți place să tragi concluzii relevante din rapoarte și grafice;
  • Bine organizat/ă și capabil/ă să gestionezi un proiect de la idee până la implementare;
  • Un bun comunicator, atât verbal cât și în scris, deschis colaborării cu colegi și colegele din diverse departamente;
  • Cunoști limba engleză la nivel mediu sau avansat;
  • Te descurci în Excel și PowerPoint – ne bazăm pe tine pentru analize și prezentări convingătoare.

Ce vei face/învăța?

  • Vei urmări desfășurarea campaniilor digitale și vei învăța să le evaluezi din perspectiva eficienței, a publicului țintă și a integrării mesajelor;
  • Vei descoperi cum se aleg cele mai potrivite tipuri de campanii pentru diverse obiective;
  • Vei gestiona iniţiative de marketing digital ȋncepând cu pregătirea lansării campaniei (bannere, media plan etc.), la optimizări pe parcursul desfăşurării campaniei şi până la post-evaluare;
  • Vei analiza datele de performanță și vei învăța cum să extragi insight-uri relevante pentru decizii de business;
  • Vei lucra transversal cu mai multe echipe pentru a înțelege contextul strategic al fiecărei acțiuni de marketing.

 

Ce vei găsi la noi?

Dacă ai terminat o facultate de comunicare, marketing, jurnalism sau domenii conexe, sau dacă pur și simplu ai o pasiune reală pentru comunicare și îți dorești să pui în practică ce ai învățat, vino alături de noi!

  • Atent/ă la detalii și organizat/ă – știi să te implici activ în proiecte, să-ți planifici pașii și să colaborezi eficient cu colegii și colegele din celelalte departamente;
  • Curios sau curioasă să înțelegi cum se gândesc și implementează campaniile de comunicare, de la brief la execuție.
