What You Can Expect
As the Manager of Transaction and Contract Management, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of analysts. Your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy and compliance of commercial contracts while managing the end-to-end process of enrolling new accounts into the utility market and maintaining their ongoing status. This includes supervising the validation of contract details to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal operational standards. You will also play a key role in monitoring account activities, facilitating smooth transitions during enrollment, and resolving any issues related to account maintenance within the competitive utility market. Success in this role requires strong leadership, keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of industry regulations and market dynamics.
This position is based in Houston, TX and reports directly to the Transaction Manager.
What You’ll Bring
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
You have a minimum of seven (7) years of leadership and professional business experience, including at least five (5) years in the Retail Energy industry and three (3) years in utility transaction management
You have strong working knowledge of ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, and ISO-NE transaction and settlement protocols
You are knowledgeable in leading successful transformation programs in complex businesses and adapting organizational structures
You are proficient in problem-solving, critical thinking, and quickly learning ENGIE’s operational processes, utility protocols, and market transaction rules
You have experience collaborating with IT teams, supporting software testing and deployment, and leading cultural initiatives.
You are proficient in building high-performing teams, mentoring leaders, managing OPEX budgets, and maintaining strong vendor relationships
Additional Details
This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy three (3) days in-office, two (2) days remote
Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $131,000 – $183,330 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
