What you will do:

  • You will get involved in market prospecting, in order to identify projects in accordance with the company's strategic objectives, and you will conduct negotiations to secure these projects;
  • You will analyze projects and prioritize business opportunities according to the potential for profit and scalability;
  • You will get involved in the preparation of files for the investment committee, in order to obtain the necessary approvals for the development of the projects;
  • You will manage the relationship with internal or external consultants, on topics such as: financial aspects, technical evaluation, preparation of the workbook;
  • You will organize, under the coordination of a Senior Business Developer, the meetings and documents necessary for development of each project;
  • You will permanently check the impact of economic, political, regulatory and technological evolution on development plans and projects.

 

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or economic field;
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and valuation;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (in the BD field, project management in the energy field, energy production technologies, energy market, M&A);
  • Knowledge of project methodology;
  • Economic knowledge applied to the field of energy;
  • Advanced knowledge of English;
  • Persuasive person with a very good ability to interact with other people;

¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Responsable del DEVEX asociado a los servicios y suministros involucrados en las actividades necesarias para el estudio y evaluación de cada proyecto bajo su responsabilidad en su fase de desarrollo, con el fin de analizar, proyectar, monitorear y reportar el status de los costos asociados, generando una línea base y seguimiento continuo para identificar de manera temprana posibles desviaciones de presupuesto, considerando los inputs de las distintas áreas para el cumplimiento del DEVEX aprobado

 

Funciones:

  • Responsable de las actividades de gestión, control, actualización y supervisión del Devex de los Proyectos asignados de la GBU RES, durante su fase de desarrollo y hasta el handover a Implementación, para lograr el cumplimiento de lo planificado, manteniendo los reportes actualizados según los procedimientos establecidos
  • Controlar y monitorear el avance económico del proyecto, verificando que se impute adecuadamente en SAP, y actualizando periódicamente los costos comprometidos, reales y proyectados respecto a la línea de base, mediante la constante comunicación con todos los desarrolladores de proyecto y los usuarios solicitantes de los servicios asociados
  • Monitorear y analizar devex proyectado vs aprobado, retroalimentando al desarrollador del proyecto sobre las eventuales desviaciones de costos, con el fin de contribuir al cumplimiento del presupuesto autorizado
  • Analizar y dar seguimiento a las variaciones detectadas entre real y proyección de los costos (Análisis curva S) para mantener informado al Desarrollador de Proyecto y a las diferentes áreas y grupos involucrados dentro de la organización
  • Monitorear y Actualizar los flujos de devengo de los proyectos para la modelación de los flujos de caja con el fin de mantener informada a las áreas de Controlling para reportes de gestión globales y Tesorería para una mejor planificación en la disposición de fondos

 

 

Requisitos del cargo:

What You Can Expect

As a Land Agent II, you will support the Land Acquisition team to develop land acquisition strategies for greenfield projects, existing project initiatives, and the acquisition of projects dedicated to renewable energy. You will collaborate with the business development, legal, and project management teams to ensure the overall success of each land acquisition initiative.

 

  • Organize and deliver presentations to individual landowners, small groups of landowners and at times, large groups of landowners
  • Collaborate with the legal team to oversee the delivery of accurate, complete and authenticated agreements
  • Ownership of assigned projects, including managing deadlines, multiple project objectives, project timelines, and success criteria for each

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with previous land acquisition experience in the renewable energy industry
  • You will work with Company’s management to develop land acquisition strategies for green field projects, existing project and project acquisitions
  • You have obtained source documentation needed for easements or leases from public records located in county courthouses or abstract offices
  • You have negotiated and acquired easements/leases for wind energy development and related agreements from project landowners with a comprehensive understanding of the terms and conditions of the Company’s land agreements
  • You have organized documents, records, and files pertaining to each project and landowner assigned to you Engage with and assist the project manager with surface use agreements and other issues as they arise
  • You have managed land inventory by communicating with landowners for the development team to prepare for construction of projects
  • You understand real estate matters and stay up to date with applicable federal, state, or local regulations as they relate to the development of the projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Green IT Data Base, Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of Access/database
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy in attention to detail

 

 

Additional Details

  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 60% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; for car rentals while performing company business

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $128,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

  • Associates Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or Business, certifications in OSHA Safety and Certified Safety Professional
  • A minimum seven (7) years’ Safety Management; with three (3) of those years’ experience in thermal power generation and energy distribution preferred
  • Subject matter expert in OSHA (US) CFR 29 Parts 1910 / 1926
  • You have experience with root cause failure analysis (RCFA) tools and their application for recordable events. You are adept at leading serious incident investigations into High Potential (HiPo) incidents, including those resulting in a lost time accident
  • Experience with behavioral science and the psychology behind influencing change
  • Experience in commercial and industrial construction environments
  • You have experience working in environments with  thermal power generation and energy distribution plants, new construction solar and battery storage sites, facility O&M management, and the HVAC mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contractors in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) construction fields
  • You feel confident in supporting H&S database management and provides required monthly statistical reports to ES NorAm Business Unit (BU) corporate and Business Entity (BE) executives
  • As our Health and Safety Advisor you will conduct regular onsite training, supervision, compliance audits, incident investigations, and safety cultural assessments

  • Asegurar la operación y mantenimiento de la Planta hidroeléctrica Quitaracsa

  • Establecer estándares cuantitativos de desempeño para medir los objetivos clave (historial de seguridad, tasa de paradas forzadas, la disponibilidad, fiabilidad, heat rate, los presupuestos de operación y mantenimiento y los presupuestos de capital).
  • El correcto alcance del mantenimiento de los Equipos e instalaciones de la sede, desde la programación hasta la ejecución y la recepción antes del retorno a operación. Asegura que se disponga de los servicios, herramientas y repuestos necesarios.

What You Can Expect

The Construction Project Field Manager (PFM) is responsible for providing quality assurance and safety oversight of the activities and installation of the construction of utility scale projects by the EPC/BOP contractor, Its subcontractor, and supplier. The PFM will comply with ENGIE Delivery Standard Operating Procedures throughout the progress of construction activities for the ENGIE site team. The PFM will be accountable to the Project Manager for assigned grid scale project(s).

 

  • Every day the PFM will represent ENGIE as overall monitoring project site manager reporting to the Project Manager for project related issues, concerns, and achievements
  • Direct, observe, report, and coordinate activities of assigned Field Observers on required safety check points
  • Train and mentor teams members on key activities including but not limited to contractor monitoring, inspections, observations, reporting, and safety management
  • Provide input to Project Manager(s) and Construction Management Advisor on selection and evaluation of ENGIE site team members
  • Work collaboratively with owner’s project manager to oversee and coordinate contractor scopes of work
  • Perform daily site walks/drives for overall progress, safety, and quality verification. Perform joint safety and quality inspections with the EPC and supplier counterparts
  • Attend preconstruction meetings with all involved construction entities as required
  • Coordinate and attend weekly progress meetings to be held by EPC contractors, engineers, and internal stake holders to include but not limited to safety and quality roundtable discussions with other project sites
  • Attend monthly progress meetings to be held by EPC contractor as well as owner’s internal stakeholders
  • Perform constructability reviews of projects in early design phase
  • Input and review during the design process through IFC
  • Review designs, construction sequence plans, and proposed schedule for each phase of construction
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and submit to stake holders
  • Ensure construction work complies with all applicable plans, specifications, building codes and other legal or regulatory requirements
  • Collect, verify, and report on completeness of required safety process documentation from each contractor on site, review any unsatisfactory results and provide reporting for entire project through designated channels
  • Manage relationships with owner’s clients and stakeholders
  • Represent ENGIE as facilitator for resolution of project conflicts such as construction problems, scheduling delays, logistical conflicts, and construction methods
  • Work directly with project managers, EPC contractor, other contractors, module and MPT suppliers, engineers, vendors, and others as required
  • Complete daily logs, construction reports, safety inspections, and various construction inspections
  • Complete a review of all job books submitted to validate all deliverable items are included, including all pertinent testing results
  • Utilize Procore for all project related documents and enter lessons learned module to capture and record lessons learned during the construction phase

  • Coordinate final inspections, testing, commissioning, and walk-downs and establish final punch list
  • Proactively identify areas of potential risk and identify design or construction elements likely to result in disputes or claims
  • Observe delivery of major equipment and provide general physical inspection including shock sensors, dents, scratches, and/or any other obvious physical damage
  • Monitor proper storage and security of materials and Equipment Prepare regular progress reports in accordance with project execution procedures (PEP) outline
  • Provide real-time updates on key construction activities such as site clearing/grading and other civil works, access roads, solar array construction, AC and DC collection systems, transmission lines and substation via GIS-based system provided by owner

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ total experience with a minimum of five (5) years of Site Management experience constructing renewable projects
  • Experience with managing projects larger than 100MW
  • OSHA 30 hour certification
  • Strong background with renewable construction projects
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and with PROCORE
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing
  • Hands on Experience with Tools and Equipment

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $128,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

What You Can Expect

The Construction Project Field Manager (PFM) is responsible for providing quality assurance and safety oversight of the activities and installation of the construction of utility scale projects by the EPC/BOP contractor, Its subcontractor, and supplier. The PFM will comply with ENGIE Delivery Standard Operating Procedures throughout the progress of construction activities and supervise the Field Observers on the ENGIE site team. The PFM will be accountable to the Project Manager for assigned grid scale project(s).

 

 

  • Every day in this role you will represent ENGIE as overall monitoring project site manager reporting to the Project Manager for project related issues, concerns, and achievements
  • Direct and coordinate activities of assigned field Observers
  • Train and mentor teams members on key activities including but not limited to contractor monitoring, inspections, observations, reporting, and safety management
  • Provide input to Project Manager(s) and Construction Management Advisor on selection and evaluation of ENGIE site team members
  • Direct and coordinate activities of assigned field Observers
  • Work collaboratively with owner’s project manager to oversee and coordinate contractor scopes of work
  • Perform daily site walks/drives for overall progress, safety, and quality verification. Perform joint safety and quality inspections with the EPC and supplier counterparts
  • Attend preconstruction meetings with all involved construction entities as required
  • Attend weekly progress meetings to be held by EPC contractor as well as owner’s internal stake holders to include but not limited to safety and quality roundtable discussions with other project sites
  • Attend monthly progress meetings to be held by EPC contractor as well as owner’s internal stakeholders
  • Perform constructability reviews of projects in early design phase
  • Input and review during the design process through IFC
  • Review designs, construction sequence plans, and proposed schedule for each phase of construction
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly progress reports and submit to stake holders
  • Ensure construction work complies with all applicable plans, specifications, building codes and other legal or regulatory requirements
  • Collect, verify, and report on completeness of required safety process documentation from each contractor on site, review any unsatisfactory results and provide reporting for entire project through designated channels
  • Manage relationships with owner’s clients and stakeholders
  • Represent ENGIE as facilitator for resolution of project conflicts such as construction problems, scheduling delays, logistical conflicts, and construction methods
  • Work directly with project managers, EPC contractor, other contractors, module and MPT suppliers, engineers, vendors, and others as required
  • Coordinate and lead weekly progress meetings with contractors, engineers, and key stake holders
  • Complete daily logs, construction reports, safety inspections, and various construction inspections
  • Complete a review of all job books submitted to validate all deliverable items are included, including all pertinent testing results
  • Utilize Procore for all project related documents and enter lessons learned module to capture and record lessons learned during the construction phase
  • Coordinate final inspections, testing, commissioning, and walk-downs and establish final punch list
  • Proactively identify areas of potential risk and identify design or construction elements likely to result in disputes or claims
  • Observe delivery of major equipment and provide general physical inspection including shock sensors, dents, scratches, and/or any other obvious physical damage
  • Monitor proper storage and security of materials and Equipment Prepare regular progress reports in accordance with project execution procedures (PEP) outline
  • Provide real-time updates on key construction activities such as site clearing/grading and other civil works, access roads, solar array construction, AC and DC collection systems, transmission lines and substation via GIS-based system provided by owner

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred

  • Minimum of two years’ experience of Construction Site Management experience with constructing renewables projects
  • Experience with managing projects larger than 100MW
  • OSHA 30 hour certification
  • Strong background with renewable construction projects
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Proficient with PROCORE
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing
  • Hands on Experience with Tools and Equipment
  • Leadership and Problem-Solving skills
