¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Ejecutar las tareas de operación y mantenimiento eléctrico, mecánico y afín e inspección técnica en las plantas de generación renovables, Bess (Battery Energy Storga System), sub estaciones, sistemas de media tensión y todo lo necesario a para asegurar la continuidad operacional de las instalaciones de la Central asignada para Engie Chile, con el fin de contribuir a la disponibilidad de las unidades de según los requerimientos de acuerdo a los estándares de calidad, seguridad y medio ambiente de la compañía

 

Funciones:

  • Ejecutar actividades de mantenimiento eléctrico, electrónico, mecánico o limpieza de plantas generadoras renovables y BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) con el fin de lograr el cumplimiento de las tareas asignadas de acuerdo con procedimientos, manteniendo los estándares de seguridad y salud, calidad y medio ambiente
  • Realizar maniobras de conexión y desconexión de equipos, sala de celdas o patio de alta tensión, con el fin de lograr el mantenimiento según los procedimientos establecidos y medidas de seguridad contribuyendo a la continuidad operacional y de seguridad de las instalaciones
  • Preparar reportes acerca de los trabajos realizados y novedades acontecidas durante la jornada laboral, con la finalidad de mantener información actualizada sobre el funcionamiento de la instalación
  • Operar desde la sala de mando y/o terreno las plantas generadoras renovables, BESS y sus equipos auxiliares, para mantener el control de sus parámetros operacionales desde los tableros de control

 

Requisitos del cargo:

  • Formación Académica: Título de Técnico de Nivel Superior, Ingeniería de Ejecución o Ingeniería Civil en Electricidad, Mecánica Industrial, Electromecánica, Electrónica o carreras afines
  • Office nivel intermedio
  • Diagnóstico y resolución de fallos eléctricos, mecánicos e hidráulicos.
  • Interpretación de esquemas eléctricos, hidráulicos, electrónicos, manuales técnicos y planos mecánicos.
  • Experiencia con herramientas de diagnóstico y medición eléctrica, incluyendo análisis de vibraciones y termografía.
  • Conocimientos avanzados en sistemas hidráulicos, eléctricos, electrónicos y mecánicos.
  • Conocimientos en sistemas de control, automatización y programación PLC

Deseable:

  • Conocimientos en operación y maniobra de subestaciones eléctricas
  • Conocimientos en sistemas SCADA y software de recopilación de datos (SAP, Excel, etc.).
  • Certificación en normas de seguridad industrial (NFPA 70E, OSHA, etc.).
  • Certificación en seguridad laboral y LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), incluyendo
  • Mantenimiento de plantas solares
  • Mantenimiento a alternadores y bancos de baterías
  • Limpieza de plantas solares
  • Mantenimiento a motores diesel
  • Mantenimiento en BESS (Battery Energy Storage System)
  • Conocimiento de Normativa ISO 55.001

What You Can Expect
As Groundskeeper will report to the site daily and work as the main point of contact in keeping and maintaining the vegetation, such as but not limited to weed eating, using a medium size agriculture tracker, and using a box blade for road repair.  You will also oversee the regular scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting for the equipment and vehicles on site.  You will receive and report status updates on assignments and projects from the scheduling software on a computer terminal in the office. This work is completed independently amongst a team of technicians. Periodically you will be expected to manage and communicate with external contractors onsite to ensure compliance and safety.

  • You may be required to work to support solar technicians as needed for safety support other required assignments
  • You may be required to work on call as needed in site


 

What You’ll Bring

  • You must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum 2 years work history using hand tools 
  • You will need to be able to drive a medium size agricultural tracker  
  • Must be able to active read and interpret information such as but not limited to instruments, gauges, and manuals
  • Able and willing to get certified in first aid and CPR

 


Additional Details

  • This role requires daily attendance at worksite 
  • Must be available to travel to other sites for trainings and assistance as needed per site local site development typically on a weekly basis. 
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive on site and to other company trainings, events and meetings

Compensation
Salary Range:  $20.12 - $29.46 USD hourly

What You Can Expect

As an intern in our Westminster, CO office, you will work as a supporting key member of the Project Management (PM) and Construction Management (CM) team within the Utility-Scale Renewable Development business.

 

Every day you will support the Project and Construction Management staff with project start up activities for ENGIE’s project portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects. 

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting and project start up and closeout activities and exhibit reviews
  • Review and update process maps and documents for PM and CM activities and support the activities within the ProCore application system
  • As an intern you will travel to construction project sites as needed to shadow the Construction Manager or Senior site member on the work being done, audits, and safety inspections
  • Documentation of activities, create reports out of Procore, review daily reports for quality and non-conformance
  • Attend weekly Construction Project meetings

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be at least a junior or senior working toward a graduate or undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering, science, or similar technical or analytics-based program

Commercial Correspondence:

  • Drafting and distribution of notices under the various Contracts
  • Record keeping and maintaining the contractual Notice Register comprising of Notices to and from the Project Stakeholders.
  • Diligently storing notices and project related information on SharePoint.

 

Cost Management:

  • Management of the cost allocated to each Consultant/third party/Service Provider by keeping track of all invoices and setting them off against the allocated budget
  • Creating Purchase orders for new Agreements.
  • Checking and evaluating of invoices.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the monthly Cost Certificate with Project Finance and the Finance Team.
  • Coordinate the preparation and administration of other Cost Certificates/ Payment Milestones in accordance with the relevant Contracts. 
  • Performing analysis and pricing comparisons.
  • Provide input into the annual budget and co ordinate with Finance Team
  • Manage all Variation orders in accordance with the relevant agreements

 

Reports:

  • Consolidating, reviewing, preparing, and providing input into reports associated with the Construction and Operations of the projects as per the relevant project agreements.
  • Input into other reports provided by third party i.e. Owner’s Engineer and LTA

 

Contract Management:

  • Ensure operational project obligations in terms of its respective EPC, PPA and O&M Contracts are met and support respective subject leads in terms of the obligations of the remainder of the project documents.
  • Implement the obligations tracker for all operational projects and present the PPA & O&M Contract Obligations tracker to the BTE teams.
  • Contract administration and management during pre and post project execution.
  • Managing the claims process and assisting relevant stakeholders in resolving disputes.
  • Assist in the implementation of dispute resolution practices to effectively mitigate contractual risk.
  • Assist in managing various consultants (IE, OE & LTA). Full engagement and communication with consultants in terms of contract negotiations and implementation.
  • Management of land lease agreements and other relevant Service Level Agreements associated to the Projects
  • Management of Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) and the amendment thereof, as and when it is required.

 

Meetings:

  • Attending all key meetings and taking minutes/action points of the meetings
  • Distribution of accurate meeting minutes to relevant stakeholders

The Construction Project Field Manager (PFM) will oversee and coordinate all on-site aspects of a renewable energy project. This role will ensure that construction activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to the required quality standards. The PFM has a pivotal role in delivering the project’s objectives and promoting a safe and efficient work environment.


The PFM will comply with ENGIE Delivery Standard Operating Procedures throughout the progress of construction activities for the ENGIE site team. The PFM is accountable to the Senior Construction Manager, Delivery Project Manager, and Director of Construction Services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution and Coordination: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth operations. Conduct regular site inspections and attend progress meetings
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Enforce a strong safety culture, identify, and mitigate hazards, and work with the HSE team on risk assessments and environmental procedures. Perform daily site walks and manage safety documentation
  • Team Leadership and Management: Supervise on-site teams, conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and mentor site personnel to foster a collaborative work environment
  • Scheduling and Cost Management: Assist in developing project schedules, monitor expenditures, control costs, and provide real-time updates on key activities. Collaborate with senior management to forecast needs and implement corrective actions
  • Quality Control: Ensure construction activities meet design specifications and quality standards. Conduct quality inspections, resolve non-conformities, and document progress and milestones
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main on-site contact, provide regular updates to senior leadership, and address community concerns as needed

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of technical training and/or related construction management experience and a minimum of 10 years related construction experience or project management
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and PROCORE
  • Experience with renewable energy technologies (Wind, Solar, Storage, Renewables) and industry-specific standards with hands on experience with tooling and equipment
  • Experience with renewable energy technologies and industry-specific standards with hands on experience
  • Understanding of health, safety, environmental regulations, and OSHA 30 
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks effectively. Willingness to attend worksites on a daily/weekly/rotation basis. Availability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time, including overnight trips. Physical ability to conduct site visits and walk renewable energy sites for extended periods

Key Responsibilities

 

Specific responsibility for the following activities for all ENGIE India matters:

 

Tax Compliances:

  • Responsible for handling all tax obligations of ENGIE India entities & relevant flipside entities (tax audit, income tax return, advance tax liability, tax provision, deferred tax working, transfer pricing compliance, monthly & annual GST compliances, WHT compliances, tax related reconciliation, double tax treaties etc)

 

Tax Assessments:

  • Responsible for handling tax assessments/ litigations related to corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing

 

Tax risks:

  • Manage all tax issues and risks relating to ENGIE India tax matters

 

Group reporting:

  • Support in group reporting obligations such as CbCR, BEPS requirements, Pillar Two developments, risk reporting etc

 

Tax documentation:

  • Maintaining records of all documents relevant for tax

 

Structuring activities:

  • Tax support for group restructurings/ M&A activities, group financing and other projects, design of tax efficient structures, review of tax assumptions in project models, highlighting key risks and opportunities from M&A / BD activities
  • Review tax clauses in various contracts

 

Tax developments:

  • Monitor development of all taxation matters and ensure new regulations are adequately implemented where necessary
  • Providing subject matter expertise in respect of all direct and indirect taxes
  • Provide guidance and supervision to non-tax members to ensure that GBUs, Engie AMEA and Group tax objectives are met

 

Tax accounting:

  • Assist accounting teams in tax accounting

Required qualification and competencies

 

  • Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience of around 7 years (Big 4 experience in direct tax is a must). Indirect tax experience is a plus.
  • Sound technical and practical knowledge of tax laws (corporate tax, transfer pricing and international tax treaties)
  • Experience of handling variety of tax issues, advising and implementing complex structures with the practical skills necessary to avoid pitfalls associated with the projects.
  • Experience of managing projects and dealing with different teams across disciplines.
  • Experience of handling tax compliances, enquiries and tax audits
  • Experience of providing tax advice in M&A situations and ad hoc group restructuring projects
  • Experience of accounting, treasury, foreign exchange control regulations and company law issues affecting transactions (broad understanding rather than technical specialism)
