General Overview:

To provide finance business partnering support to International Power and subsidiaries. To be an effective partner to the International Power (IP) budget holders and International Power Finance team, providing support, challenge, expertise and a clear framework as appropriate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key Finance Business Partner support to International Power cost departments and Thermal GBU.
  • Facilitate decision making by providing periodic and adhoc analysis that transforms financial data into actionable information for operational and strategic decision making.
  • Work closely with the management, country CFO and Thermal Management to analyse the periodic trends/variances to plan and as appropriate, contribute to any relevant Management Information reporting.
  • Identifying key business drivers behind the numbers for meaningful executive level summaries and analytics
  • Contribute to the monthly operating expense, capital spending and headcount analysis relevant to forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Lead and attend Functional reviews using aforementioned analysis to provide insight to feedback performance using relevant deliverables and reports
  • Significantly contribute and/or potentially lead projects that integrate and rationalise delivery of improvements.
  • Plan and Govern the recharges prevalent to other group entities pursuant to the activities in T&G, On shore wind, Thermal, collaborating with all Key Stakeholders across the business, including various old legacy IP agreements.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability of reporting and that reporting structures reflect the changing way our business is managed.
  • Ensure any monthly variance analysis at both a COI and SG&A & COS level, and for the current year is well understood and completed in a succinct and timely fashion.  
  • Lead the budget process for each department and liaise with key stakeholders to discuss current and future events that could impact the cost base, ensuring the budgets are completed as accurately as possible and in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain the books and records of IPM Energy Limited, through drafting of financial statements and audit thereof. Ensure payroll is properly recorded and staff recharges are properly effected. Prepare VAT returns.
  • Manage bank payments; ensuring all payments included expenses are appropriately approved and recorded.
  • Support the GEM Finance Manager with the Trading Recharge, ensure costs are correct to what is permissible in the SLA.
  • Monthly reporting of variance to budget analysis to country CFO
  • To work on continuous improvement projects, taking ownership of particular workstreams and ensuring on time delivery against agreed timescales.

About the role:

The role holder will be responsible for the end to end management of Retail Ops processes for I&C customers from Customer Setup and Registration, to Metering, and through to Billing and Customer Service. What You Can Expect

As the Associate General Counsel in Chicago, IL or Houston, Texas you will be responsible for providing legal support together with a team of legal professionals to ENGIE’s Energy Solutions Global Business Unit (ES-GBU) in connection with its distributed solar and storage business with provides solar, solar plus storage, and standalone storage solutions for C&I behind-the-meter, Muni-CoOp and community solar customers. Every day, you will report to the Vice President & General Counsel to support for project and platform mergers & acquisitions (M&A), project financing matters (including tax equity and debt financing and cash equity spelldown); assistance in overall compliance with federal state and/or local laws and regulations; and such other transactional and contractual matters for ENGIE North America and it’s subsidiaries as may be required from time to time.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • You must be licensed to practice law in at least one state in the United States (preferably Texas or Chicago)
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of combined legal experience in the United States with a law firm or major corporate legal department; practice with a top-tier firm and combination of outside counsel and prior in-house experience with both energy transactional, solar, and storage project development and finance experience
  • Deep expertise in wholesale energy markets with strong communication skills is needed to perform this role
  • Ability to analyze complex business situations, taking into account business drivers, to develop risk mitigation recommendations in a commercially minded manner
  • Able to clearly explain risks, advise on both commercial and associated legal consequences and exercise sound judgement on difficult issues

Compensation

The Energy Supply division of ENGIE is responsible for providing, Energy Supply, Power Purchase and Demand Side Response (DSR) as part of delivering the transition to Zero Carbon for our customers across the UK. What You Can Expect

Located in the Southern California Region, the Photovoltaic (PV) Technician will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of numerous solar projects, primarily smaller-scale public works projects. Electrical safety and driving safety are critical in this role, and you will be expected to fully comply with all safety requirements and federal, state, and local laws applicable to this position.

 

As a PV Technician, your primary responsibilities include maintaining the performance of each photovoltaic project, responding promptly to trouble tickets, and performing corrective actions while maintaining detailed service reports. You will develop work scopes for repair issues requiring subcontracted assistance, conduct annual preventative maintenance services for PV systems, and use a field mobile application for accurate record keeping. You will review annual service reports to identify and plan corrective actions with the Regional Service Manager.

 

In this role, you will also be responsible for performing corrective repair services, maintaining detailed expense records, and creating and refining reporting systems for management. Other tasks include re-commissioning, site inspections, and any additional duties assigned by the manager.

 

You will work closely with the Regional Service Manager for daily tasks and directions and provide on-the-job training to apprentice electricians, helping them develop into safe, productive journeyman electricians. Ongoing communication with the Regional Service Manager regarding field activity status is essential.

 

Your work will predominantly be on prevailing wage projects, and all project work must adhere to the O&M and Performance Guarantee contract terms, especially concerning customer safety requirements, DOJ Livescan, and site access terms and conditions.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be a California Certified Journeyman Electrician
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience, experience with PV design, installation, and/or maintenance       
  • The position must abide by and understand the safety requirements of the NEC electrical code, NFPA70 and OSHA 30
  • The position must work very close with the  Regional Service Manager for daily tasks and directions
  • Provide on-the job training to Electrical apprentices
  • The position requires reviewing PV system performance reports and troubleshooting under-performance issues as well as outage problems at customer sites
  • Technical requirement of commissioning, troubleshooting of solar electrical generation systems, and monitoring communication equipment

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 90% of the time with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; must use of company vehicle, and have ability to drive to site locations
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consist of 90% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions; must have ability to work outdoors and on rooftops

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range:  $35.82 – $54.90 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

About the Role: 

Working as part of a team of 12, your main purpose will be to achieve an acceptable, managed and mitigated level of exposure within the business to costs and risks associated with commodity and third party charges, that simultaneously provides a competitive price in the market;

  • To recover revenues in line with costs (over time and in value).
  • To provide appropriate level of query management and support to the wider business in respect of Costing & Pricing activity for a catalogue of existing products as well as new propositions for gas/power and upstream/downstream.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate self-generated analysis to senior management
  • Make proposals and recommendations for changes to pricing policy and risk management protocols to senior management and influence their decisions
  • Develop, maintain and improve models for cost and risk exposure analysis, cost forecasting, premium determination and pricing calculations, ensuring pricing friction is kept to target levels.
  • Proactively develop and implement solutions to pricing issues (and regularly analyse to detect new issues) including improving existing systems and processes or developing new.
  • Assist in the definition of pricing policies and methodologies to help ensure a framework that is effectively implemented and operated across the business, including leading the pricing input to product development.
  • Maintenance of pricing related data in relevant systems.
  • Ensure appropriate communication to management and the wider business of issues/solutions, changes and updates.
  • Monitoring the regulatory landscape and assessing the impacts of industry change on pricing methodologies and cost forecasts, acting as subject matter expert for implementation and communication to stakeholders.
  • Support Finance teams with the calculation and provision of Mark to Market reporting for all third party costs as part of the Full Year Forecast, Mid Term Audit and annual Budget.
  • Understanding and management of economic, market and regulatory issues impacting on Pricing.
  • Communicating and contributing to the management and resolution of any issues.
  • Provide information and Key Business Indicator (KBI)/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to allow management of costs and charges, and implement action plans to ensure they are maintained within acceptable parameters.
  • Work with wider business to ensure good stakeholder engagement and customer service as well as identifying issues, communicating them and enabling a resolution.
  • Participate in and support programmes and projects providing role of Subject Matter Expert. Lead smaller business projects to implement new processes / improvements
