Purpose of the job

 

ENGIE are recruiting for a Debt Recovery Team Manager to be based in Leeds.  The job holder will be responsible for the management of overdue debt through the disconnections process and internal and external legal process.  This is a hybrid role, working full time Monday to Friday.  On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise the Debt Recovery and Disconnections team including overseeing the warrant and legal process
  • Assisting and sometimes liaising with customers and their representatives in order to expedite the claim process and where possible recover the full outstanding or where appropriate achieve settlement of outstanding debt
  • Work alongside internal legal team on claims over £50k where necessary
  • Approve settlements and write-offs in a timely manner and authorise legal action, write offs and settlements within set delegations
  • Ensuring the Legal tracker and Debt Recovery tickets are maintained and that the team are working within the delegations of authority
  • Manage the full legal process with external solicitors
  • Act as main point of contact for external solicitors’ queries in respect of claims
  • Ensure expenditure related to the external legal process is controlled
  • Validation and sign off of Disconnection and External Legal Costs invoices including process serves and traces in line with DLAs

 

Experience and skills:

 

  • Working knowledge of gas and electricity industry processes across, SME and I&C.
  • Understanding of the customer lifecycle and interdependencies between Credit Control and interfacing departments.
  • Proven ability to organise and produce accurate work to tight deadlines.
  • Highly numerate and awareness of cost recovery.
  • Verbal reasoning skills
  • Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Proven record of excellent customer service.
  • Quality and breadth of experience of credit control.
  • Preferable previous team leader experience

 

Qualifications:

 

  • GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent).
  • GCSE Mathematics Grade C (or equivalent).

About the role

 

We are recruiting a Anaerobic Digestion Feedstock Manager based  in our plant known Gorst Energy in Exeter. This is a Permanent role, working  37 hours per week.

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Identify feedstock sources and opportunities.
  • Cultivate leads and track them through to completion.
  • Visit new and existing suppliers and develop / maintain relationships.
  • Organise, plan and schedule feedstock deliveries across the portfolio of sites, ensuring they arrive on time and to expected specification.
  • Sourcing feedstock for disaster recovery purposes
  • Feedstock contract management e.g. negotiations/reviews
  • Feedstock sampling and inspection regimes
  • Maintain a testing and monitoring regime on new and existing feedstock lines.
  • Track feedstock usage and expenditure and report back to site managers and directors
  • Compile feedstock performance data and KPI reporting.
  • Perform regular site visits and build strong working relationships with site managers to understand their site processes and requirements.
  • Assist with site audits relating to feedstock
  • Develop and manage a strategy for digestate management and disposal for all sites.
  • Investigate and develop a monetarised disposal route if practicable.
  • Assist with training and understanding for site staff of feedstock usage and quality.

 

 

Key Requirements

  • Degree in agriculture or similar
  • Extensive experience in Agriculture
  • Experience in Anaerobic Digestion or a similar industry desirable but not essential
  • Hands on approach

Storengy UK are seeking an Electrical Engineer, with a strong operational background within the major accident hazard environment; oil, gas, chemicals, power etc.

Are you an electrical engineering all-rounder? Are you fully up to speed with the regulatory requirements of COMAH, DSEAR, HV and ATEX? Skills and Experience:

What You Can Expect

The Land Legal Coordinator will sit in Santa Barbara, CA. In this role you will support the ongoing operations of the land legal team for US Renewables Development group within our legal team supporting solar and wind development.

 

As the Land Legal Coordinator for this position, you must be a detail-oriented cohesive collaborator with an optimistic attitude, and a self-starter with the ability to relate to diverse groups of people; balance conflicting resources and priorities; highly organized and proficient at maintaining documents and tracking spreadsheets for multiple projects. In this role you must be able to learn and follow processes and protocols set in place to maintain the flow of project development activities.

 

  • Coordinate the preparation, distribution, execution, recording, and filing of land contracts across multiple teams and technologies
  • Responsible for intake and quality control of all land contract documents prior to processing and recording
  • Responsible for the management of landowner agreements, contracts, and document intakes, electronic/hard copy filings, creation, and coordination process for all land contracts, and project related agreements, files, and documents by scanning, uploading, and organizing the files in the company’s database
  • Tracking and maintaining land contracts and payment database to ensure timely and accurate land contracts payments
  • Reviewing contracts for signature and approvals
  • Backup support for project related data entry in company data bases for contract and project reporting purposes and various day-to-day clerical tasks and assignments, such as mass mailings

 

 

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree is required where you have experience as a contract administrator or similar administrative role, preferably within a legal department or renewable energy related field
  • Being timely, consistent, reliable, and have a positive approach to your work with effective verbal and written communication

Compensation

  • Hij/zij staat in voor het onderhoud van de veldinstrumentatie en verwerkingsmodules zowel analoog als digitaal. Daarnaast voert hij/zij onderhoudswerken uit tijdens revisies en volgt hij/zij de werkzaamheden van de verschillende contractanten op.
  • Hij/zij voert onderhoudswerken uit op zeer diverse installaties: van klassieke proces- automatisatie, veldinstrumentatie, brandinstrumentatie tot en met toegangsstructuren, allerlei beveiligingen en verschillende wijzingen aan de nucleaire installatie.
  • Door zijn/haar analytische vaardigheden en expertise is hij/zij niet alleen in staat om door zijn/haar onderhoudswerken problemen op te lossen, maar deze ook te voorkomen.

About the role

Based in South Petherton, close to Ilminster and half an hour from Taunton, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Management team and Plant Manager in ensuring the correct and efficient running of our Anaerobic Digestion plant outside of normal working hours. This is a night based role working 48 hours per week working a four on four off shift pattern as agreed with the Plant Manager - 6pm to 6am) including weekends. There will also be the requirement to provide holiday cover for your team when required. You will be based on our gas to grid plant known as Sustainable Energy Generation. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to the company's SCADA system (plant monitoring/control software) identifying and rectifying operational problems.
  • Liaise with the on-call Plant Operators and Plant Manager promptly to ensure any issues are corrected and that there is minimum disruption to the plant and that the plant runs safely and professionally.
  • Liaise with the on-call maintenance team to ensure any maintenance work is logged and carried out in a timely manner.
  • Undertake some minor mechanical maintenance repairs.
  • Weighbridge operations (full training will be given)
  • Log events on the company's database and ensure accurate recording for handover to day staff.
  • Prepare routine performance reports
  • Flexibility is required for covering annual leave and absences of colleagues

 

Key Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence due to rural plant location
  • Previous experience of working/operating a similar control room system
  • Ability and experience to operate a telehandler/tractor/forklift (although training will be provided)
  • Excellent IT skills with good numerical, analytical and diagnostic skills

The position is key to support ENGIE’s businesses within the UK and Ireland, in the context of existing key businesses and strong growth ambitions. As the SCADA Engineering Manager in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America (ENA), you will lead a team of SCADA Engineers in development and support of SCADA projects for renewable generation (Wind and Solar) in North America (US and Canada).   • A minimum of an Associates degree in automation and Controls Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, Computer Programming Engineering or equivalent
