Position : ESG/ Sustainability – Pune

 

Objective :-

 

The overall Head of ESG/ Sustainability for the country will be responsible and accountable for the development of the countries sustainability strategy and action plans that are in line with ENGIE Group purpose and wider objectives. - An important part of this is integrating ESG considerations into company’s business processes and approach such that all decisions are informed by these considerations and will enable strategic oversight and direction to the ENGIE teams and ensuring ongoing implementation of the company’s Environmental and Social

 

Management System (ESMS). -

 

Key Activities

 

Strategy & Governance ·

 

The Sustainability or Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Head is responsible for leading the countries effective management of ESG risks and impacts, including demonstrating leadership in responsible community investment and sustainable company performance. · Adopting and effectively implementing the Groups CSR/ Sustainability objectives at Country level maintaining a timely reporting process. - Nature: coordinate action plans and policy implementation - Climate: Support Business lines and Corporate in delivering the 20230 Net Zero and 2045 objectives - Societal: Steering stakeholder dialogue, relaying just transition ambitions and monitoring impacts on affected communities. · Positions ENGIE’s strategy and sustainability leadership amongst key external stakeholders that promote business and companies purpose. · Set-up, manage and or coordinate the relevant governance structures needed to effectively ensure the integration and reporting of Sustainability requirements within ENGIE’s Country position with all its stakeholders.

 

Organizational leadership ·

 

Guide and support the country’s senior management teams of the various business lines to provide sound organizational ESG guidance, advisory and process excellence that supports business growth and strengthen ENGIE’s operational presence in the country. · Consolidate the overview of sustainability related topics/progress and country performance – ensuring updates and dialogues with country management on ESG performance · Coordinate works with other functional departments involved in the Sustainability strategy, policies and targets such as HR, Procurement, Ethics, H&S, Finance, Business development, operations etc · Maintains strong working relationships with and has open and transparent communications between all members of the team. · Co-ordinate and /or identify CSR programs/ initiatives with relevant business stakeholders that supports in country commitments and elevates ENGIE’s position as a company supporting a Just Energy Transition.

 

Project and Budgetary Management ·

 

Supports the entire Project Value chain from project development to operations and final decommissioning process. Directs the team in providing required ESG (HSE, community and biodiversity) input into all aspect of the management of ENGIE’s projects, including onsite environmental and broader stakeholder engagement and community investment, from planning, permitting management of construction and operation and reporting to sale, where/if appropriate · Oversees ESG team’s relationship with contractors to ensure the most effective and constructive management of project risks and impacts · Ensures that all projects develop a Long Term Community Investment Strategy and Stakeholder Engagement Plan, including a well-functioning grievance mechanism.Develop and manages the Country’s ESG budget ensuring required project justifications and integration are identified and aligned with business stakeholders.

 

Reporting and Communication

 

· Ensure compliance protocols with applicable local/country laws in relation to ESG are identified and implemented with the Country. Further complying with ENGIE groups adoption of European directive conformance throughout country projects and practices such as but not limited to: ( EU Taxonomy, CSRD, Duty of Vigilance etc.) · Responsible for quarterly reporting through internal Sustainability/CSR channels. This includes smooth running of the in country sustainability (environmental/ Societal) Committee. · Works with the Country Manager and key internal stakeholders to determine, design and implement the company’s communication and stakeholder strategy, including positive contributions for enhancing the company and industry profile · Regularly interfaces and reports with AMEA Hub Sustainability Function to ensure a One ENGIE approach and greater alignment with Groups missions and requirements. · Creating a sustainability Culture within the country by ensuring the right trainings, information sharing and awareness initiatives are undertaken internally.

 

Degree /Experience ·

 

Bachelor’s / postgraduate degree (in socio-economic and/ or environmental science and/or sustainability/ development studies)

Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in areas of ESG, including project management specific experience in the construction and operation of large-scale greenfield projects 

A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the assessment and/or application of best practice ESG standards and performance 

Proven experience in providing advice and input into strategic orientation and decision making on ESG at senior management level

Purpose of the Job:

Set up and animate the Integrated Quality Management System in accordance with company policy. Management of complete QA/QC of all equipment from suppliers and field quality on site and ensure project construction as per the Quality standards and requirement.

 

Reporting lines

QA/QC Manager reports to Head-Projects/Construction.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Implementation of Quality Management System.
  • Prepare a standarised QA/QC plan and customise the same for each project.
  • Prepare all Quality Procedures and Checklists.
  • Evaluate contractors / vendors w.r.t. quality requirements & compliances during selection.
  • Responsible for all QA/QC of equipment / material / contracts from suppliers and services. Co-ordinate and Conduct factory inspections of all material/ equipment purchased and raise the deviations if any, submit duly signed reports to HO-QHSE for further review & handover to customer.
  • Review design and engineering documents and provide inputs related to Quality.
  • Responsible for complete QA/QC management on site.
  • Preparation and implementation of QCPs for material and services as per Group guidelines.
  • Ensure that all contractors and workmen are provided with necessary training on site.
  • Ensure all Quality procedures and protocols and systems are strictly implemented on site.
  • Ensure all Quality check-lists are part of specifications/contract and implemented on site.
  • Monitor the work execution as per SOPs, WI's, QAPs, etc. and take necessary steps/ actions.
  • Follow up on all Quality related NCRs and ensure timely closure.
  • Compile and distribute weekly, monthly and yearly QA/QC reports/statistics.
  • Work towards the goal of high-quality site.
  • Monitor quality implementations through periodic site inspections, review meetings and release reports stakeholders.
  • In case of any non-conformity / deviation, lead RCA of the same. Ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Provide administrative support to all Quality related meetings and events.
  • Liaise with QA/QC country / business unit leaders with regards to QA/QC data and statistics, reporting, etc.
  • Ensure implementation of Quality Management on site.

Qualifications & Experience

Your responsibilities as a Power Transformer Expert

 

We are looking for a Power Transformer Expert with experience working for a transformer manufacturer. The ideal candidate will support customers in writing specifications, conduct design reviews for orders, and oversee production and manufacturing processes. Additionally, the expert will be responsible for conducting technical inspections, following factory tests, and performing root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Engage in all aspects of the electricity value chain, from production to industry, and stay updated on new transformer technologies and market trends.
  • Collaborate with universities and research centres locally and abroad.
  • Be open to travel for interventions, inspections, design review meetings, on sites worldwide.
  • Draft specifications for transformers, evaluate supplier offers, conduct design reviews, and follow up on manufacturing and construction at supplier facilities.
  • Perform condition assessments, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, simulations, and material analysis for operating transformers

 

Your profile 

 

  • Hold a title of Master of Science in Industrial Sciences or Master of Science in Engineering, specialized in Electricity or Electro-Mechanics. 
  • Possess proven expertise in Power Transformers and experience in large Power Transformer design. 
  • Demonstrate strong technical and market knowledge to support the recommendations that you will formulate as Transformer Expert 
  • Quickly analyse customer issues, develop tailored commercial proposals, and build trusting client relationships with a customer-oriented mindset. 
  • Communicate fluently in English, and willing to learn Dutch or French.
  • Be able to write technical reports in correct English.

Votre mission

 

Au sein de la Direction Nucléaire de TRACTEBEL, l’Unité Grand Carénage (PGK) est en charge des activités d’ingénierie de TRACTEBEL pour le parc nucléaire d’EDF en exploitation. 
En qualité d’ambassadeur de l’Unité PGK à Tours, vous assumerez la responsabilité du développement et de la gestion des opérations de l’Unité.


Votre connaissance de l’ingénierie nucléaire, votre expérience du management d’équipes et de projets, mais également votre volonté d’entreprendre, seront les clés de votre succès.

 

 

Vos principales responsabilités


En tant que responsable d’activités  de l’Unité PGK à Tours, vos missions principales seront de :

  • Participer à l’élaboration de la stratégie de développement de l’Unité et à sa déclinaison locale.
  • Proposer des plans d’actions en phase avec cette stratégie et assurer leur déploiement local. 
  • Développer et entretenir la relation avec nos clients locaux (en particulier EDF CNEPE).
  • Identifier de nouvelles opportunités de projets et coordonner l’élaboration de nos offres techniques et commerciales.
  • Assurer le pilotage contractuel de nos marchés cadres locaux et des commandes d’exécution subséquentes.
  • Gérer la relation avec nos partenaires et sous-traitants.
  • Veiller à la bonne exécution des projets, dans le respect des budgets, des délais, des exigences de sûreté et de la réglementation en vigueur.
  • Contribuer au recrutement de ressources locales et à la gestion de leur plan de charge. 
  • Encadrer et motiver les équipes locales, afin de favoriser leur développement professionnel et leur engagement envers l'entreprise.
  • Animer la relation avec les départements métiers de TRACTEBEL et assurer une coordination efficace des actions de chacun.
  • Rendre compte des résultats à la Direction de TRACTEBEL.

 

 

Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes ayant

 

  • Une formation supérieure Bac+5 de type école d'Ingénieur ou équivalent (Université, MBA, …).
  • Possédant une solide expérience d’au moins 10 années, acquise en tant que responsable d'un centre de profits ou de développement d’activités, idéalement dans le secteur nucléaire.

 

Compétences principales :

  • Solide expérience dans le développement d’activité d’ingénierie et la gestion de la relation client.
  • Solide expérience dans le recrutement et la gestion d'une équipe d’ingénieurs.
  • Expertise dans la gestion de contrat et la gestion d’un centre de profit, avec une capacité à prendre des décisions éclairées pour optimiser la performance financière.

Your mission  

As Senior Structural Engineer in our Design Brussels Civil Works department of the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’, part of the Business Area Nuclear, you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in  a wide variety of civil construction activities. Those activities are ranging from newbuilt projects that often run over several years, short-term renovation projects as well as punctual assistance to the Operator. From a technical point of view, you will work with a broad range of disciplines. You will manage the interface between Client, Operator and the team.

 


Your key responsibilities  

  • You oversee the design and calculations of nuclear related structures and building subjected to internal and external hazards;
  • You perform structural analyses using FEM code;
  • You participate actively in the dynamic analysis of nuclear structures and components to various hazards: earthquake, gas explosion, tornado, plane crash accident;
  • You participate in the writing of technical specifications (design requirements) and the review of technical documents issued by the Contractor;
  • You participate in the preparation of offers or the invitation to tender;
  • Mentoring of Junior Calculation Engineers  and sharing your experience and expertise with the team 
  • You check calculation notes of less experienced engineers according to the QA policy of the company.

 

 

 

We would love to hear from people with 
 

  • A Civil Engineering degree with at least 20 years of experience in structural analysis and design;
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards (Eurocodes as well as American Standards such as ASCE, ACI, USNRC (SRP and RG), …);
  • The capability of predicting the response of structures under static and dynamic loading;
  • Experience in general purpose Finite Element and structural codes (such as ANSYS, SCIA, ..) for static loads or dynamic loads , in case of linear or non-linear analysis ;
  • A strong background in design of concrete structure against earthquake, explosion, tornado and plane crash accident is required;
  • Knowledge of nuclear domain and safety (this is a must);
  • Knowledge in concrete aging mechanisms is an asset;

Context:

 

The Expertise Center Global Market Analysis (GMA) is looking for a Senior Expert Power Market Analyst.

He/She will report to the leader of market analysis for mid term power markets.

The market analyst teams develop consistent market views (gas, power, oil, emissions, weather) to explain market moves and forecast future evolution ; build and run forecasting & simulation models ; propose, enhance and follow trading strategies ; pro-actively seek innovative solutions to improve sales, traders and business developers performance as well as to support senior managers in their decision making process ; provide market analysis reports and services to a defined set of internal and external clients ; provide strategic insights on new businesses linked to energy transition ; represent GEMS in external forum or conferences in relation with energy market knowledge, meteorology or hydrology ; producing economic and financial analysis for origination, negotiation, valuation and management of assets.

 

Role:

 

The Senior Expert Power Market Analyst will focus on the development of multi scenario fundamental power price forecast over 5 to 10 years. This project is of high importance for GEMS and Engie to improve asset & portfolio valuation, risk management and investment decision making.

He/she will work closely with the GMA Power Market Analysis teams and the Meteo Analysis team to coordinate the work and build on their expertise. He will also drive the collaboration with Engie Impact Advisory teams who contribute to the project. He/she will contribute to GMA internal fundamental modeling platform.

 

The senior expert analyst is accountable for the analysis performed by GMA teams for the asset and portfolio valuations. He/she is the point of contact with the NWE Power Cluster, Risk, AIFA and the new S&EM Portfolio entity.

 

The senior expert analyst will work closely with all market analysis leaders to share transversal activities and competences in the expertise center teams.

He/she will be in close contact with the Regulation teams in charge of defining and defending GEMS/Engie positions for future market design and regulation.

 

 

Hard skills:

  • Master degree or PhD in relevant area (engineering, mathematics, physics, etc)
  • 10 years experience in power market analysis
  • People and project management competences (vision, roadmap & priorities, people development, organization, team spirit, collaboration etc)

Context :

The Credit risk Analyst role is part of EC Risk Europe, the Risk Division of GEMS in Europe and will be managing credit risk resulting from the Energy Management, Global Energy & B2B Supply activities in Europe. Main responsibility is to overview the creditworthiness of the counterparties in these portfolios and manage the credit risk exposure accordingly (credit risk mandate, overdue monitoring…). The economic environment is also key and needs also to be followed.

 

 

Role:

 

Credit Analysis

  • In-depth credit analysis of European clients (analysis of the financials, sector analysis, market & environment, peers and SWOT analysis)
  • Rating recommendation and validation in ECR rating tool
  • Recommendation including credit conditions on the request submitted
  • Communication of any relevant negative news on clients
  • Monitoring and follow up of the Client’s credit exposure on clients and effective implementation or monitoring of credit mitigants

 

Contribute to the EC Risk Europe risk management governance

  • Support the update the EC Risk Europe policy and sections related to credit risk.
  • Support the review the credit delegation scheme of EC Risk Europe
  • Support the presentation of the related charts / dashboard in EM or Supply Risk Committees
  • Support on ad-hoc analysis and projects within the Finance & Risk teams.

 

Key activities carried out by the Credit Risk function include:

  • Redaction and follow-up of the GEMS Risk Policy
  • Review of Supply contracts and related credit clauses
