What You Can Expect

As our, Construction Manager Senior in Washington, DC, you will be a key member of the Capital Projects Team who is responsible for the development, design, and execution of multiple Utility System Capital Improvement and Efficiency projects.

 

Every day you will enforce contractor compliance with all job site obligations of the work order or construction contract, including, especially, following safety procedures and adherence to quality standards. You will report to the Energy Conservation Measures ECM Program Manager.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or in a technical field from an ABET institution or equivalent in demonstrated experience
  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience in management of construction for industrial or municipal projects with demonstrated success
  • You have advanced understanding of design, construction and operations of thermal plants; and sound knowledge of campus and/or district energy systems
  • You have experience demonstrating strong familiarity with DC construction codes and permitting requirements of the Department of Buildings (DOB) and, the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP)
  • You know how to prepare and execute Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans for Capital Improvement and Efficiency projects 
  • You feel confident partnering with assigned Project Engineer, which is usually an external contractor, to develop a project procedures manual.  This reference shall provide the framework for construction addressing mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation & controls and administrative fundamental requirements. Coordinates with Project Engineer for technical consult and QA/QC inspections
  • You are comfortable sharing opinions on constructability through the review of Contractor plans, determining if special operator access or maintenance provisions are required
  • You know how to develop weekly reports on construction progress for Project Manager; inform the monthly management report
  • You know how to develop and oversee the Construction Risk Management Process
  • You have experience supporting the Project Manager with Technical/Commercial oversight including:
    • Review of Change Requests, Directives
    • Review of monthly payment applications from Contractors and Construction Administrators
  • You have worked in an environment where you have orchestrated the design of traffic control prior to construction activities
  • You have experience in construction projects, working at sites, managing subcontractors, contracts administration and change management
  • Carry out all other duties related to the job

 

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy to the extent allowed by project activities
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license

Compensation

Salary Range: $103,320 – $172,200 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

Ingeniero de Mantenimiento Civil – Yuncán

 Tus principales responsabilidades serán: 

  • Elaboración de TDRs, especificaciones técnicas y presupuestos para los servicios de mantenimiento y/o proyectos civiles de la central hidroeléctrica Yuncán
  • Elaborar planos de levantamientos topográficos y de diseños requeridos para los servicios de mantenimiento y otros que la jefatura solicite.
  • Revisión de las propuestas técnicas y económicas de los servicios de mantenimiento, así como el segumiento de mtto. civil de la CH Yuncán.
  • Elaboración de cronogramas, estimaciones de costos, Identificación y estimación de riesgos de los proyectos civiles.
  • Control y aseguramiento de la calidad de los entregables emitidos por los consultores de ingeniería y de los procesos constructivos en campo.
  • Mantener actualizados los registros de monitoreo de la instrumentación geotécnica y elaboración de reportes de infraestructura civil de la CH Yuncán.

¿Qué necesitamos de ti? 

·         Indispensables: 

  • Profesional titulado y colegiado en Ing. Civil.
  • Experiencia general de 8 años y experiencia de 4 años a más en supervisión de ingeniería, proyectos, construcción, geotecnia y/o gestión de calidad QC-QA.
  • Experiencia en sector energía, minería, petróleo, gas o afines.
  • Conocimientos en la elaboración de expedientes tecnicos, metrados, presupuestos y de ejecución de obras
  • Manejo de Ms Office nivel Avanzado Manejo de Ms Project, Autocad o Civil 3D a nivel intermedio o avanzado
  • Manejo de software de diseño Civil (Hidraulica, Geotecnia, Topografia, Calculo estructural, etc.)
  • Inglés Técnico y contar con estudios en Geotecnia (Estabilidad de Taludes), obras hidráulicas e Infraestructura Vial.

Context:

As Short Term Trader, you will play a pivotal role within the Short Term Trading desk, organized within the Short term Power as a Service.

The mission of Short Term Trading is to maximize  the revenues of  the ENGIE  power portfolio within the CWE region and maximize the value of intraday trading activities in the developing pan-European Intraday markets. As an intraday trader, your key responsibility is to multitask and be able to take decisions on a very short time frame based on a large dataset.

These activities are executed within a sub team of 9 people organized continuous 24/7 and taking up both Trading & optimization activities.

You will interact very closely with the Algorithmic trading development team.

 

Role:

In the role of Short Term Trader, you will be responsible for: 

  • Maximizing the CWE power portfolio revenues in intra-day, including renewable management, sales exposure and asset flexibility
  • Leveraging on our market expertise in order to maximize the value of our trading activities.
  • You will act as a single window to the intraday Market in order to cover the real time physical needs of our clients and re-optimize the asset portfolio against the intraday power market prices.
  • Develop strategies to maximize revenues and minimize the costs for our clients over the different time horizons of the short term chain
  • Develop cross-maturity models which can serve the portfolio of assets, intermittency, DSM and develop efficient strategies to capture trading opportunities on those different markets.
  • Delivering 3rd party services for external Customers.
  • Ensuring correct and timely delivered reporting of portfolio and market activities.
  • You work in a 24/7 shift system.

You will report on a regular basis to the Head of Short Term Trading.

As the Engineering Senior Advisor – Electrical, you will manage all aspects of Electrical Engineering design and construction activities for utility-scale renewables projects (wind, solar, and energy storage) throughout the US and Canada and serve as an innovative subject matter expert and leader.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for SPC, supporting Project Engineering Managers and leading design reviews/submittals of high voltage substations and transmission system protection schemes to include Vendor Equipment Selection, GA’s, Elevation Views, Ground Grids, Conduit & Grounding Layouts, Switching Diagrams, Relay Protection One-Lines, Three-Line Diagrams, Communication Network Diagrams, AC&DC Schematics, Connection & Wiring Diagrams
  • Provide internal engineering support to Development & Pre-Construction groups, and assist with procurement processes for long lead materials
  • Stay updated on new technologies, regulatory conditions, and industry best practices, with up to 20% travel for site assessments and construction meetings and activities

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Engineering Technology, or closely related field of study
  • Minimum of 10 years of direct experience and proven knowledge in high voltage (138kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design field is required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering standards including (NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI) and FERC and NERC requirements for electric substation reliability
  • Extensive knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals and three phase power systems
  • Proficiency in engineering application software to complete tasks such as ground grid design, relay coordination, transformer sizing, load flow, and short circuit studies
  • Experience in protective relay coordination and settings for HV and EHV transmission systems and familiarity with Schweitzer and General Electric relay and communication equipment
  • Knowledge of transmission line protection schemes (step-distance, POTT, DCB, DUTT) and electrical systems analysis software (ASPEN, ETAP, SKM, PSS/E, and PSLF)
  • Must be able to communicate complex technical subject matter information to a wide range of audiences verbally and in written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Vanuit de controlezaal in Knippegroen bedien je verschillende centrales in Gent en Brugge.
  • Je lost storingen en problemen op in samenspraak met de productieleider en ons onderhoudsteam en doet een optimalisatievoorstel.
  • Je stelt de installatie (transformatoren, turbines, elektrische borden etc) veilig ter voorbereiding van onderhoudswerken.
  • Je start een installatie na onderhoud opnieuw op.

Your mission

 

As Project Engineer Acoustics & Vibrations in our Buildings division you will be responsible for engineering and consultancy services related to development and realisation of buildings & infrastructure. The team is responsible for studies in environmental accoustics, building acoustics and structural dynamics. It is dedicated to the management of noise and vibration nuisance and the improvement of acoustic quality in variety of projects. 

 

Your key responsabilities

 

  • You assist the department with performing specific noise and vibration measurements
  • You analyze and report the measured data to obtain specific indicators according to standards and legislation
  • You will be responsible for modelling and simulating the generation, the propagation and the impact of noise and vibration in open and built space making use of advanced and specific software
  • Together with the client you are looking for the best solutions using a problem-solving approach 
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the budget, the timing and the quality of the engineering services is executed as required. You will make sure that the projects assigned to you will be executed in accordance to our quality system and our H&S rules.
     

 

We would love to hear from people with 

  • A Master's degree in Engineering (civil or industrial) or Physics equivalent through experience 
  • You have a stong interest in working with acoustics & vibrations; 
  • Having experience in working with acoustics & vibrations is a plus;

  • Proficiency in Dutch and a good professional knowledge of English

Votre mission

Au sein de la Business Area Nucléaire, vous intégrerez la Direction Technique, dans le groupe métier Engineering Management, garant du développement des compétences en coordination, intégration technique et ingénierie des systèmes complexes.

 

Basé(e) à Marseille, vous interviendrez sur des grands projets nucléaires et/ou de défense, en France et à l’international, dans un environnement multi-métiers et des consortiums de grande envergure.

 

Vos principales responsabilités

  • Coordination technique
  • Piloter la conformité aux exigences et assurer la gestion des interfaces techniques.
  • Maîtriser la configuration et les modifications tout au long du projet.
  • Rédiger des documents techniques multidisciplinaires et vérifier la cohérence des livrables.
  • Sûreté de Fonctionnement et Soutien Logistique Intégré (SDF/SLI)
  • Apporter une expertise technique et méthodologique en appui aux métiers.
  • Établir des plans de sûreté de fonctionnement et de soutien logistique intégré.
  • Réaliser des analyses de Fiabilité, Maintenabilité, Disponibilité et Sécurité (FMDS).
  • Définir et décliner les exigences réglementaires et normatives aux différents systèmes.
  • Mettre en place des plans de maintenance et rédiger les opérations associées.
  • Vous serez également impliqué(e) dans le développement de solutions digitales innovantes et pourrez évoluer rapidement vers des responsabilités élargies en intégration technique, coordination d’études et optimisation des choix de conception.

 

Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes ayant :

  • Formation : Ingénieur généraliste ou nucléaire.
  • Expérience : Minimum 8 ans en industrie (nucléaire, défense, etc.), dont 3 ans en SDF/SLI.
    • Solide bagage technique en environnements industriels complexes.
    • Expertise en ingénierie des systèmes complexes et gestion des interfaces.
    • Capacité à challenger les métiers et proposer des optimisations.
    • Connaissance des normes ISO26262 (automobile), EN50126/28/29 (ferroviaire), CEI 61508.
    • Expérience en analyses de fiabilité (FMEA, FTA, AMDEC, etc.) et plans de maintenance.
  • Maîtrise des outils : MS Office (impératif), Navisworks (recommandé).
  • Langues : Français irréprochable, anglais professionnel courant.
  • Habilitation : Habilitable "Secret" au sens de la défense.
  • Mobilité : Déplacements ponctuels sur sites industriels, fréquents à Toulon selon projet.

Als Mer deskundige in Lucht in onze afdeling Sustainability, Environment and Policy draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het begeleiden van projecten op het gebied van duurzame ontwikkeling en milieuwetgeving.


  

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden   

  • Adviseren en mee vorm geven aan unieke, duurzame oplossingen voor ruimtelijke- en infrastructurele stads- en regio-ontwikkelingen.  
  • Meewerken als deskundige aan milieueffectrapportages 
  • Interpretatie van data, waaronder technische voorstudies, modelleringsresultaten en rapportering voor discipline lucht.
  • Je denkt en schrijft mee aan het plan van aanpak voor offertes
  • Communicatie met klanten, overheids- en adviesinstanties, onderaannemers

  


We horen graag van mensen met   

  • Een masterdiploma in een wetenschappelijke richting en in het bezit van een erkenning in Lucht of je kan die op korte termijn verkrijgen.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensuring the integration of new WAN/MAN, LAN, and WiFi solutions or the evolution of existing solutions into the production environment within the scope of connection networks, in accordance with the commitments made with the clients of this NET service line.
  • Managing integration and production deployment projects: ensuring the coherence of solutions from design to production deployment, guaranteeing compliance with best practices and production deployment criteria, and ensuring the completeness of documentation.
  • Change management: participating in the operational relationship with clients, adhering to change management and production deployment processes, preparing and managing changes for successful production deployment, and verifying data consistency in the asset management tool.
  • Project management: respecting the deadlines for processing customer requests and producing quotes.

 

YOUR PROFILE

 

  • Master's degree in computer science or information technology
  • Solid experience in project management in networks in an "Agile" work environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Analytical mindset, exploring options and able to synthesize conclusions
  • Autonomous, dynamic, results-oriented, rigorous, and committed
  • Language skills: French, Dutch, and English
  • Qualifications in Agile, Prince2, or any other project management methodology
