2. PURPOSE

 

Responsible for coordinating HSE requirements on site and ensuring that hazards and risks are identified in a proactive manner and appropriate controls, processes and procedures are in place and followed to ensure that work is performed in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner in line with Client (Anglo American) and ENGIE requirements and establish and influence a pro-active culture and good safety culture.

4. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary contact for all HSE matters relating to Engie Hydrogen Mogalakwena (Pty) Ltd.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory or regulatory on site, in line with Anglo American and ENGIE group specific requirements.
  • Review Anglo American requirements on site and update the Governance HSE Plan to ensure that the interfaces have been identified and confirmed for each of the key areas.
  • Ensure ongoing communication with nominated Anglo American representative(s) and Hydrogen Plant Manager appraised.
  • Revise and update HSE procedures or processes to adapt for operational sustainability.
  • Advise on and Implement risk management programs such as  Job Risk Assessment (JRA), SLAM/ LMRA, working at height, confined spaces, Hot work, lifting operations.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with incident / event reporting program for both Anglo American and Engie line of reporting, including compiling of incident investigation report.
  • Review and ensure compliance with the Permit to Work procedure on site.
  • Develop and lead HSE inspection and audits programs.
  • Review and evaluate Contractor’s and Sub-Contractor / service provider HSE documents for accuracy and compliance to ensure Contractors do not mobilize to site unless their HSE plan has been approved.
  • Support and monitor Contractors / Sub-Contractors’ implementation and full compliance with the established Safety expectations.
  • Ensure that Environmental requirements, with specific attention to prevention of pollution and the management of the waste streams have been implemented and are being respected on site.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and ensure contractor(s) are carrying out internal risk assessments
  • Co-ordination / focal point for all scheduling of work scopes / interfaces and to lead daily meetings of all safety representatives to ensure that all works are approved for the following day and week / month lookahead
  • Provide discipline safety expertise and advice (e.g., risk (Job Risk Assessment, SLAM) management, Visible Felt Leadership, compliance to ENGIE Life-Saving Rules, PTW, Critical procedures, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, Lifting etc.).
  • Conduct and lead HSE promotion and awareness campaigns.
  • Conduct HSE training including HSSE Induction and awareness for personnel, supervision, visitors, and contractors as required.
  • Maintain Corrective Action management system and lagging & leading indicators.
  • Perform surveillance activities including inspections (equipment, hazards, and behaviors) and contractor audits and report / implement improvement programs as necessary.
  • Advise on training matrix and training plan for EHM team on site at the hydrogen plant.

 

 

 

 

Security & Emergency Response Management

 

  • Liaise with Anglo American and monitor implementation of security and access control protocols for site.
  • Lead and advise emergency management in conjunction on with Anglo American.
  • Advise on the implementation of the site emergency response program for EHM team.
  • Liaise with Anglo American Security services regarding local Security situations as necessary.
  • Report on Security Incidents and on any important security issues when needed and ensure reporting on Security incidents the ENGIE Security Correspondent for South Africa.

 

Key deliverables

  • Establish a HSE framework (policies, rules, procedures, templates, tools, HSE Objectives and action plans as required and advised by the ENGIE HSE Country Manager and required by the Operator and Anglo American.
  • Engage Anglo American, contractors, service providers on safety matters.
  • Coordinate Anglo American Passport 360 and onboarding requirements.
  • ENGIE and Anglo American HSE Reporting requirements.
  • HSE Training matrix and plan in line with Anglo American requirements, legislation and ENGIE/Risk based.
  • Coordinate with Anglo American representative for the conducting of hygiene surveys for the operations.
  • Establish Baseline HSE risk assessment.
  • Compile Operational HSE Plan, procedures and establish processes as identified.
  • Support Operations and maintenance personnel on HSE issues.
  • HSSE Induction specific for Engie Hydrogen Mogalakwena (Pty) Ltd.
  • Conduct and review risk assessments in conjunction with Operations and maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits and incident investigations as required.
  • Organize, together with Anglo American and Crisis Alert Exercise for site.
  • PPE and signage requirements and procurement.
  • Compilation and maintenance of lagging and leading incidents.
  • Organize HSE Communications, toolbox talks, briefings and HSE team meetings.
  • Transfer of skills and knowledge as required to Engie Hydrogen personnel as required.

 

Governance

  • Direct report to Engie hydrogen Plant Manager responsible for HSE matter for site.
  • Member of Plant HSE Committee
  • Functional line report to ENGIE Country HSE Manager

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education

  • Degree/Btech/National Diploma in Health and Safety Management  or related qualification.
  • Min 5 years in plant operations, construction, or service industry.
  • 3 years’ experience in MHSA or Anglo American group standards.
  • Technical qualification background will be an added advantage.

Location / Travel

  • Location – Anglo American Mogalakwena mine, Limpopo Province
  • Travel not foreseen but may be requested.

Project Site Manager

 

Roles and responsibilities

 

The Project Site Manager shall be experienced in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine and Thermal Power Plants, in overseeing and supervising the EPC Contractor’s project execution. The Project Site Manager will be responsible to ensure that the construction, commissioning, and testing of the plant executed by the EPC Contractor meets and complies with the EPC Contract. He shall be experienced in Construction Supervision, testing and commissioning, materials procurement review, factory Inspection and other related fields to assure that the Project’s Lump sum Turnkey (LSTK) Contractor complies with the contractual requirements of the execution of the Project.

The Project Site Manager shall be responsible for managing and coordinating the site team in carrying out the site supervision responsibilities as outlined in the scope of Owner’s Engineer contract with the Client. The Project Site Manager shall also be responsible for coordinating with the Client, the Client’s design  co-ordination team, the EPC Contractor and the Tractebel’s Home Office design review team, as necessary.

Leading the weekly and monthly project meetings for Contractor’s works with the Client and the EPC Contractor, progress reports, ensure work compliance in accordance to approved drawings and submittals; material and equipment inspection at site, Inspection for installation and construction Works at site, pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning and startup activities until unit handover for commercial operation. Prepare punch list, NCRs and conduct QA/QC for all the Work and for health, safety, security, risk management,  Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control and civil engineering with respect to Scope of Work and Technical Specifications in accordance with local and International Codes and Standards with the support of the team of site engineers.

Location/Travel

Riyadh PP # 10 Combined Cycle Power Plant is located approximately sixty (60) km to the Riyadh AlKharaj Road of the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  

The nearest airport for access to the Project site is King Khalid International Airport Riyadh.  The nearest seaport is Dammam port which is about four hundred fifty (450) Km from the Project Site.

 

Reporting Line and Key Relationships

The Project Site Manager will report to the Tractebel Middle East Head of Energy and Infrastructure and for the project execution, he shall be reporting to the Client’s Project Site Manager at the PP10 site.

 

Requirements

 

Experience and Skills

The Project Site Manager (Site) shall work full time for this Project and shall not be involved in any other Project or Work Assignment. He should have a minimum of twenty [20] years of experience in managing large Combined Cycle and Thermal Power Projects and his age should not be more than 55 years. He shall possess strong leadership qualities and good communication skills.

Knowledge of all recognized International and local engineering codes and standards, directives and safety regulations such as such as ASME, ASTM, API, DIN, VGB, EN, NFPA, COMPANY ISD, HCIS, ISO, ISA, ATEX, NEC, IEC, IEEE, ACI, ANSI, ASCE, SBC, Saudi Grid Code, PME environmental, AWS, ASHRAE, OSHAH, UL, FM and other items as applicable, OEMs standards and practices including local regulations codes and standards and laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the International Standards requirements.

Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, control and civil engineering related to the Scope of work and tender documents.

Knowledge and experienced in Contract matters, contractual claims, change orders or Amendments, interpretation contractual terms and conditions.

 

Education

Bachelor degree holder in Mechanical Engineering (approved by Saudi Council of Engineers) with minimum twenty (20) years of experience in multi-national & multi-discipline Projects

Ingeniero Electricista – Proyecto Solar (Contrato temporal)

What You Can Expect
The Attorney located in Houston, Texas, reports to the General Councel ENGIE Energy Marketing NA, Inc., will be responsible for providing legal support to the U.S. wholesale entity of ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) business platform.  GEMS provides energy supply solutions and risk management services to support its clients through their decarbonization journey, while optimizing ENGIE’s assets and contributing to value creation.

  • Draft, review and negotiate:Master Agreements (e.g., NAESB, ISDA and REC agreements, together with relevant annexes) for various commodities and related derivatives (i.e., power, gas, emissions)
  • Long-term renewable power purchase agreements
  • Secured energy supply and credit facilities for retail electric providers
  • Other energy contracts (i.e., energy management agreements, hedging contracts, responsibly sourced gas agreements, gas storage and transportation contracts, intra-group contracts, brokerage contracts, etc.)
  • Pre-transactional documents, e.g., confidentiality agreements, letters of intent and term sheets
  • Credit management documentation (e.g., credit support annexes, letters of credit and guaranties) 
  • Ancillary agreements related to the GEMS’ team scope (IT Vendor Contracts, Service Level Agreements, etc.)
  • Assist in structuring complex hedge and other commodity transactions
  • Partner with GEMS compliance professionals to ensure maintenance of the highest commitment to regulatory compliance and satisfactory resolution of any related inquiries
  • Act as a subject-matter expert on legal and regulatory developments of commodities, provide training on topical issues to GEMS colleagues.
  • Provide legal support in relation to event-driven issues such as events of default, covenant breaches, claims of force majeure, acceleration, and enforcement and reservation of rights while advising on the impact on the company’s financial position

 

What You’ll Bring

What You Can Expect
The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager to provide comprehensive  support for a Capital Project on Campus, ensuring smooth execution of project activities, planning, coordination with key contractor(s)/vendors, CapEx team, and Operations & Maintenance teams.

  • Assist the Program / Project Manager administratively and with field activities during project development and execution of the Capital Project.  
  • Support Operations & Maintenance and Contractor with any walk-downs or site visits to areas such as distribution system(s) and mechanical room(s) to confirm existing site conditions as part of construction planning activities. 
  • Actively participate in discussions with Project, Engineering, and Contractor teams for outage, equipment staging, and any other construction planning meetings. 
  • Provide input on logistics and construction plans from ENGIE or other third parties. 
  • Conduct site surveys at least three times per week (or as needed by the Capital Project) to gather project data, assess progress, and ensure alignment with project plans. 
  • Assist with management of interfaces with University and Contractor(s) and other vendor(s), including staging and logistics for temporary equipment, deliveries, and utility outage planning and execution. 
  • Act as the field superintendent for the Project by addressing execution issues, alongside the Construction Manager on the Project. 
  • Coordinate with appropriate parties for any required project permits, including coordination with Contractor and University, as needed. 
  • As needed, conduct coordination activities for parking passes, keys, and badges for Contractor(s). 
  • Inform other contractor(s) or vendor(s) about Contractor activities in the affected Capital Project areas. 
  • As needed, Conduct Contractor safety orientation (including coordination with Construction Manager), and assist safety coordinator(s) with information tracking or document updates. 
  • As needed, handle administrative tasks related to the project, including maintaining project documentation (e.g., contracts, meeting minutes, reports). Organize and maintain project data and files, transferring information between platforms and documents as required. Perform administrative duties including word processing, hard copy, and electronic filing, copying, scanning, and binding of documents.

Job Purpose 

 

The Customer Finance Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the overall success of our largely unbanked customers in completing their loans and getting continued access to clean, reliable energy. The team works cross-functionally with our commercial, customer experience, product development and operations on the ground to ensure that we provide all customers with successful responsible onboarding and offer constant support through adequate monitoring and interventions all the way through the lifetime of our customers’ loans.

 

The Field Operations Manager supports the Head of Customer Finance in the execution of the field strategy. S/he will have regular travel in the field, working extremely closely with the sales agents and the collection champions in effectively carrying out field visits, credit clinics, field teams training, target improvement of customer repayments, reduction of loan cancellation and increase collections. S/he will work with the line manager to ensure operational best practices across the credit cycle are applied.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the building of the field operational processes, systems, tools, and guidelines governing Credit activities
  • Support field agents with follow-up lists and access tools such as MysolGo and other working tools
  • Implement and track reactivation strategies for written off accounts
  • Ensure all agents are trained on all relevant credit and collections activities
  • Drive customers follow ups on all defaulting customers and implement repayment strategies to improve our collections
  • Support the line manager on repossession strategies and work towards given targets
  • Assess internal and external causes for portfolio deteriorations
  • Escalation of all difficult cases pertaining to the customers to the line manager
  • Support the coordination and portfolio Health monitoring for field teams.

Job Purpose/Mission

 

The role holder is responsible for offer training in support of the Sales Division’s efforts in achieving key performance goals.
