What You Can Expect

As our Shift Supervisor, at ENGIE’s Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP) located in Boston, MA you will be responsible for directing and supervising the operations department and other plant personnel to ensure the facility is operated and maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient manner in accordance with all company policies and environmental standards.  The Shift Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will possess a high school diploma / GED or equivalent
  • You maintain a Valid CFC-2 and CFC-3 license; or, a CFC-universal license
  • You have a Valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s License
  • You must be able to work internally in the physical plant and externally on the facility’s grounds or at satellite facilities
  • This role requires you to work a rotating shift this includes weekends and holidays as required
  • You may be required to work overtime (relief, off-shift, and emergency coverage) as needed
  • You have experience directing shift operators on the starting, control, operation, shutdown and inspection of high pressure boilers, combustion turbine generators, steam turbine generators, chillers, electrical distribution equipment, steam distribution equipment and all required plant auxiliary equipment
  • You perform regular inspection tours of the plant and distribution system including underground tunnels and electrical power systems; and prepares logs and other operating records including data collection via the plant computer
  • You will be training shift personnel in safety procedures and equipment use, plant operating procedures and environmental standards. 
  • You will support the implementation of corporate and plant training programs and monitor the progress of your reports towards completion of the program training
  • You must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practices, and perform work in accordance with recognized trade and company standards and, where applicable, local, state, and federal laws including participation in the emergency response team
  • You will perform other related duties as required

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 5%
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license, and occasionally drive company vehicles
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consist of 25% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
  • May be required to obtain a Second-Class Industrial Wastewater Treatment license
  • The employee will be required to wear personal protective equipment and clothing where appropriate because of their work around potential hazards such as loud noise, airborne particles, vibration and hazardous materials.  Including but is not limited to, safety eyewear, footwear, hard hat, gloves, hearing protection, specialized clothing and a company issued uniform 
  • Under certain conditions, while working in the plant, may be required to wear a respirator – respirators are required in specified areas, therefore the employee will be issued with and trained in the proper use of this equipment
  • May require repetitive stooping, bending, climbing, reaching, and carrying, intermittent lifting
  • Must be able to work from ladders, scaffolds, high-lifts, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively

 

 

Compensation

Hourly:  $43.94 to $64.25 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As the Digital Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our advanced metering, data acquisition, and telemetry systems. Your role will encompass a variety of business functions, including monitoring microgrid and solar performance, setting up condition and fault alarms, and overseeing battery energy storage systems. You'll also be responsible for tracking the performance of energy efficiency measures, conducting both preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting issues remotely and on-site, and generating reports for customers and internal stakeholders.

 

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with the Digital Engineering Director to select technologies that are not only cost-effective but also scalable and supportable. This partnership ensures that our systems remain at the cutting edge of technology while maintaining efficiency and reliability.

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a focus in an Engineering or IT related discipline
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT/Software Development or Support
  • Work history should include TCP/IP networking, serial communications, data acquisition systems or SCADA, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and cellular data communications
  • Experience working with time-series data
  • Familiarity with SQL database concepts as they relate to data loading, storage, and reporting

Mission

  • You will be a player throughout the execution of our marine and civil infrastructure projects

  • You will take the lead in the design and calculation of steel structures from concept study to execution

  • You dimension steel structures following current Belgian and European standards, legislation, codes of practice and internal guidelines

  • You are creative in looking for structural solutions to specific problems, taking into account design and budget

  • You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team of engineers and draftsmen for projects with a strong focus on projects in marine and civil infrastructure

Profile

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant technical experience in the design and engineering of steel structures and infrastructure projects such as bridges, port infrastructure, lock doors, barrages, sheet piles, anchors, jetties, or large civil infrastructure works, including calculation on structures;

  • You have experience in designing steel elements in complex 3D structures

  • You have an understanding of the applicable construction techniques and are eager to keep your knowledge in line with current methods.

What You Can Expect

ENGIE North America is hiring a Battery Storage Technician for our Five Wells Solar project located in Rogers, TX.  

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with performing High Voltage (HV) switching, substation, and HV equipment lockouts and grounding tasks. Demonstrate the consistent use of Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques when solving plant abnormalities and equipment failures. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs. Perform routine inspections such as, prepare oil analysis samples, safely using tools (e.g hot sticks, multimeter, and IR Camera). Assist with equipment operation training for contractors and other site employees. Manage and coordinate work on-site between different contractors, vendors and BESS service providers ensuring quality work, is completed safely and promptly.

 

  • Actively participate in the behavior-based safety program and ensure every team member and contractor complies with all safety procedures and applicable task-oriented job safety analyses
  • Ensure site safety rules are communicated and adhered to through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Meetings
  • Demonstrate procedural compliance in all site operation and maintenance activities by utilizing established procedures
  • Ensure site equipment is kept at the highest possible standard maximizing availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability
  • Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures
  • Perform the housekeeping functions and equipment cleaning necessary to maintain the site in a clean and neat condition
  • Recommend operating and/or maintenance changes that will enhance plant performance and availability

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned electrical or instrumentation controls, electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in any or BESS sites, Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Thermal power plants, Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance
  • Proficient in using and maintaining SCADA systems
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor

 

 

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s)
  • Must be available to travel domestically to support other support operations at other ENGIE Renewable Generation ( Solar, Wind and Storage sites
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • The position consists of 30% work indoors and 70% work outdoors; outdoor work may expose the employee to weather conditions

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range:  $37.40 - $58.38 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan and emergency or on-call pay.

What You Can Expect

As our Site Administrator II, you will provide administrative support for the Texas Regional Solar Generation sites and will sit in Rogers, TX. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks crucial to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. This includes assisting management with public and employee relations by facilitating and maintaining communications at the required levels and serving as a member of the local safety committee. You will  collect, review and analyze data to prepare reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials, as well as maintaining routine plant operating logs and reports utilizing Excel. You will be responsible for responding to route routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as asset management, compliance, human resources, and legal departments, you will ensure communication and status updates are received in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Moreover, you will need to establish and maintain general administrative activities, including accounts payable, timesheets, and recordkeeping, managing purchase requisitions and orders, overseeing budgets and vendor relationships, and maintaining important documents, logs, plans, and reports. Other administrative duties include maintaining, updating and retrieving files, forms, inventories, logs, and other documents, receives sorts, and distributes mail and maintaining the general office area.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum education requires a High School diploma with three (3) years’ experience where you have worked with vendor management, accounting, procurement, supply chain, or human resources in an administrative support capacity

  • Must be able to use Outlook, Word, and Excel daily to analyze, communicate, distribute and report data to leadership and external partners
  • You must have knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions including typing, computer skills, scheduling, communicating correspondence via emails, and utilize telecommunication software and equipment such as MS Teams, fax machines, and printers
  • You must have experience creating reports on a scheduled basis

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips to attend company events and training in one (1) week increments
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle or to drive personal vehicle for company events
