What You Can Expect

As our Site Administrator II, you will provide administrative support for the Texas Regional Solar Generation sites and will sit in Anson, TX. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks crucial to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. This includes assisting management with public and employee relations by facilitating and maintaining communications at the required levels and serving as a member of the local safety committee. You will  collect, review and analyze data to prepare reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials, as well as maintaining routine plant operating logs and reports utilizing Excel. You will be responsible for responding to route routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as asset management, compliance, human resources, and legal departments, you will ensure communication and status updates are received in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Moreover, you will need to establish and maintain general administrative activities, including accounts payable, timesheets, and recordkeeping, managing purchase requisitions and orders, overseeing budgets and vendor relationships, and maintaining important documents, logs, plans, and reports. Other administrative duties include maintaining, updating and retrieving files, forms, inventories, logs, and other documents, receives sorts, and distributes mail and maintaining the general office area.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum education requires a High School diploma with three (3) years’ experience where you have worked with vendor management, accounting, procurement, supply chain, or human resources in an administrative support capacity
  • Must be able to use Outlook, Word, and Excel daily to analyze, communicate, distribute and report data to leadership and external partners
  • You must have knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions including typing, computer skills, scheduling, communicating correspondence via emails, and utilize telecommunication software and equipment such as MS Teams, fax machines, and printers

Additional Details

Compensation

3. JOB PURPOSE

 

The ESG Manager will be responsible for implementing the country’s ESG/ Sustainability strategy in line with the Engie Group Policy, Purpose and wider objectives, with a principle focus on the environmental, climate and circular economy aspects of the strategy. The ESG Manager will work with teams across the project lifecycle of the company’s renewables and flexible generation projects to ensure that ESG risks, impacts and opportunities are adequately addressed and taken into account in decision-making.

The specific remit of the ESG team is to de-risk projects from an ESG perspective, enable compliance, maximum positive impact, and to bring value to the projects and company through best practice ESG performance.

 

 

4. Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

ESG Policy, Systems, Reporting and Communication

  • Works with the Head of ESG to ensure that the Company’s ESG policies, strategies and ESMS are properly implemented, including meeting company goals in relation to ESG, sustainability and impact
  • Ensures that company and project ESG risks are proactively identified and managed through consistent and continuous data collation, monitoring and review, thereby working to protect Engie  from material environmental and social risks
  • Works with various business functions to co-ordinate ESG input and ensure ESG matters are integrated into project acquisition, due diligence, budgeting and bidding
  • Works with the EHS, Social and ED functions to ensure that these aspects are fully integrated for effective ESG management and implementation of ESMS at project company level
  • Assists project companies in coordinating and ensuring consistency in ESG reporting and governance processes including Social and Ethics Committee meetings, monthly progress reports, lender reports and ongoing monitoring of related actions

Business Development

  • Assist and guide the project development team in ESG matters and screening projects for E&S risks and impacts and assisting in the design of mitigation strategies
  • Undertake and/or support environmental and social due diligences, as required.
  • Support lender ESG processes and due diligence processes where required
  • Support to the business development team in consultant and ESG advisor oversight

Construction and Operation

  • Assist the project company teams in developing the ESMS and overseeing contractor ESMS implementation
  • Work with contractors to ensure that Engie ESG and lender standards are met and monitored on a continuous basis.
  • Support the project construction and operations teams to ensure all assets are managed in a way that ensures compliance with all regulatory, company, lender, Engie Global and best practice requirements
  • Ensure that mitigations and management plans meet required regulatory and international standards, and that environmental and social requirements are incorporated into the project company management systems.
  • Where applicable, leads the design, development and implementation of biodiversity offset/ conservation projects, including stakeholder relationship management
  • ESG reporting for lenders, ensuring specific points of interest and reporting compliance are met.

ESG Data Collection and Reporting

  • Support to business functions in ESG data collection, collation and analysis to meet various reporting requirements and ensure continuous improvement

 

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

 

Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree but ideally an advanced Degree in Environmental Science/ Energy / Environmental Engineering/ Development Studies.
  • At least 10 years of work experience in a similar/ related field (energy; ESG; Sustainability; extractives), preferably in project development, development finance, E&S consulting, banking/ infrastructure investment in South Africa and/or other parts of Southern Africa. At least 2 years of these should be in a management level position.
  • A focus and experience in the environmental discipline is preferrable, including environmental monitoring and assessment.
  • Exposure to the renewable energy or mining sector preferrable.
  • Experience in conducting environmental and social due diligence assessments, especially in relation to international standards is desired.
  • Management and co-ordination skills and experience.
  • Driver’s license.

Technical  Knowledge

  • Strong environmental knowledge/ experience in application coupled with insight and experience in broader ESG, particularly across the project lifecycle (development, construction, operation, decommissioning).
  • Experience in application of IFC Performance Standards to projects.

What You Can Expect

As the on-site Wind Technician II, at the Seymour Hills Wind Project in Seymour, TX, you will report to the Operations and Maintenance office to meet the Site Operations Manager to receive work orders and discuss project details. Adaptability is crucial as tasks may vary depending on operational needs and requirements. Your primary responsibilities involve troubleshooting, repairing, reconnecting, and inspecting electrical equipment, including substations and overall site performance.  At this site you will be working with high voltage energized equipment and must follow all safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) grounding and other safety precautions. Collaborating with service providers and contractors, you will oversee daily work activities, produce various reports, operate site equipment, and coordinate with local utilities and Independent System Operators (ISOs) for switching and curtailments.

 

Ensuring compliance with ENGIE and regulatory agency standards, you'll conduct inspections and recurring checks on site equipment. You'll actively participate in behavior-based safety programs, enforce safety procedures, and conduct orientations and meetings to promote a safe working environment. Alongside routine inspections and serving as the main contact for landowners, you'll manage spare parts inventory, coordinate contractor work, and maintain cleanliness on-site.

 

Gaining and maintaining GWO training is required, as well as participating in turbine climbing activities. You'll provide recommendations for operational and maintenance improvements, offer equipment operation training, and utilize Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques to address failures. You will work on computerized work order systems for purchase requisitions and receiving statuses.  From time to time you will be required to support other wind assets during planned outages and emergencies, potentially requiring overnight stays. Furthermore, you'll be part of an on-call rotation and must reside within 50 miles of the site to respond promptly to outages and emergencies.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience and knowledge of Solar generation, Wind generation, Thermal power, Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance where you have working knowledge of industrial electrical or substation equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors

JOUW MISSIE als Assistent Maintenance Manager (M/V/X)

Je assisteert de Maintenance Manager voor de STEG Zandlviet Power (site van BASF) en de stoomproductie installatie bij een chemisch bedrijf (Covestro). Je staat mee in voor de organisatie van een veilige, milieuvriendelijke, betrouwbare en kostenbewuste uitvoering van alle soorten onderhoudsactiviteiten .

 

 

JOUW UITDAGING als Assistent Maintenance Manager (M/V/X)

  • Samen met de Maintenance Manager en het multidisciplinaire onderhoudsteam (18p) werk je aan een vlotte en open samenwerking met de collega's van onderhoud en exploitatie.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie en uitvoering van dagelijks onderhoud, onvoorziene storingen en interventies.
  • Daarnaast werk je mee aan projecten waarbij je verantwoordelijk bent voor de voorbereiding, uitvoering en nazorg van onderhoud binnen het domein van het Mechanisch Onderhoud , Elektrisch Onderhoud en het I&C onderhoud.
  • Je beheert mee de leveranciers en contractors op vlak van veiligheid, kwaliteit en kosten.
  • Je neemt systematisch deel aan de coödinatiemeetings met de externe klant Covestro inzake contractuele scope onderhoud en monitoring servicing en prijs-ramingen (offertes) bij kleine wijzigingen
  • Je beheert en bewaakt mee de budgetten en kosten voor je dienst.

JOUW PROFIEL als Assistent Maintenance Manager (M/V/X)

  • Niveau ingenieur (Elektromechanica, Elektriciteit, Fysica, Chemie) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van en ervaring met multidisciplinaire onderhoudstechnieken

  • Je bent communicatief en kan prioriteiten stellen

What you will do:

Sustainability:

  • Sustainability Strategy and policies;
    • Contribute to the conception of ESG strategies, policies, action plans, targets and methodology collectively with Chief Sustainability Officer
    • Be accountable for the deployment of the environmental and societal policies, action plans and targets (climate and nature trajectories, climate budgets, nature plans, adaptation plans and societal plans)
    • Ensure a global view on all ESG topics and coordinate with the other Filières (such as Procurement, HR, Business Ethics, Health & Safety etc).
  • ESG compliance with laws and regulations
    • Ensure regulatory compliance and foster a proactive approach to ESG issues;
    • Track ESG regulatory developments and advise the organization on appropriate responses;
  • Actions
    • Oversee that organization’s actions are aligned to sustainable principles and regulations;
  • Monitoring
    • Monitor, analyze and understand data regarding ESG indicators;
    • Elaborate and prepare reports, presentations and methods of approach regarding sustainability to the management team;
  • Contribute to ESG Team requests various missions (eg rating agencies, investors and NGO relationship, top management request, regulatory requests, etc.)

Project management:

  • Ensure end-to-end project management or involvement, support and dedicated deliverables in Group projects (time, resources, costs, change management, risks, etc);
  • Contribute to the planning of medium and long-term projects in which the company is involved;
  • Provide support (management consulting) and use project management knowledge (estimation of deadlines, costs, resources and execution, monitoring, analysis and identification of causes, corrective measures, reporting) in order to implement strategic projects;
  • Report the status and key objectives of the projects they manage to the management.
  • Support Project Development in mapping environmental and societal impacts through licensing and permits, ESIA evaluation, construction management,
  • Ensure that all environmental studies adhere to local, regional, and national environmental regulations and standards 
  • Integrate environmental considerations thanks to the collaboration with technical project managers, engineers and environmental consultants
  • Review and maintain accurate records of environmental studies
  • Assist in stakeholder engagement activities by providing technical expertise and addressing environmental concerns raised by environmental agencies and government bodies
  • Ensure that specific issues, such as local communities, indigenous people, affected communities, are correctly managed

 

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • Higher education completed with a bachelor degree
  • Relevant experience in the ESG field (regulations, standards, etc)
  • Min 5 years experience in areas such as: project management, audit or consultancy, business controlling or operations.
  • Advanced English (any other language at an advanced level is an advantage);
  • Stakeholders management;
  • Strong analytical skills, with a good sense of observation;
  • Curious and open-minded;
  • Eager to gain broader perspectives.

  • Vei elabora analize și rapoarte despre activitatea proprie și cea efectuată de către echipele de vânzări clienți B2B.
  • Vei participa în toate fazele de execuție ale proiectelor/ cererilor de schimbare, în funcție de necesitate.

Buscamos incorporar un/a Técnico/a de mantenimiento eléctrico para la planta de Ciclo Combinado situada en Castelnou.

 

 

Funciones principales

 

 

  • Desarrollo de estrategias de mantenimiento dentro del área eléctrica para alta, media y baja tensión, garantizando los estándares de seguridad, calidad y coste.
  • Ser responsable de la realización de las actividades de mantenimiento y las inspecciones periódicas en los sistemas eléctricos de la planta velando por el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad, garantizando los periodos de entregas.
  • Organizar y hacer un seguimiento de las actividades realizadas por contratistas en el área eléctrica buscando el cumplimientos de los objetivos marcados previamente.
  • Hacer propuestas encaminadas a la mejorar de la seguridad, los procesos, la economía y la disponibilidad de la planta.
  • Llevar a cabo el análisis de recambios para garantizar la disponibilidad.
  • Desarrollo, control y ejecución de proyectos enfocados a dar solución a la obsolescencia de elementos eléctricos en planta.
  • Dar cobertura a los correctivos de urgencia que sucedan en la planta para garantizar su disponibilidad en el área eléctrica.
  • Cubrir la posición del retén eléctrico en función del cuadrante establecido.
  • Completar otros trabajos asignados por su superior.


Perfil profesional

 

 

  • Título de Ingeniería, FP o similar con 5 años de experiencia en sector industrial, ingeniería y/o mantenimiento.
  • Se valorará formación financiera o al menos un sólido entendimiento de los requisitos básicos financieros requeridos.
  • Formación en prevención de riesgos.
  • Conocimientos en ingeniería y/o mantenimiento de plantas y sus procedimientos.
  • Tener sólidos conocimientos y experiencia demostrable en mantenimiento de sistemas eléctricos de AT, MT y BT: motores, transformadores de aceite y secos, celdas MT, cuadros eléctricos, centro de control de motores, protecciones, sistemas de c.c. estáticos, grupos electrógenos, etc
  • Valorable inglés medio, hablado y escrito.
