The mission will take place within the User Solutions Skynote team of the Engie group.
Skynote L3 Workstation Team is an ENGIE team located in Paris, responsible for the availability, performance, security, and support of the production services delivered to the Local IT teams, including the Windows and Mac workstations, Intune & SCCM related configurations, and M365 Office Suite configurations.
You will work in close relationship with the Skynote Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and a few other SDMs, as well as with the Expertise/Design teams (L4) and the SaaS suppliers.
What you will do:
- You will manage the safe and secure operation of the Group services production environment, most of which is cloud-based.
- You will provide excellent support to the Local IT teams (approx. 150 tickets per month through an ITSM tool, email, instant messaging (Teams), and telephone (emergencies only)). This is not a Service Desk: it is a team of System Engineers providing 3rd line support to Local IT teams (Service Desks / Helpdesks, System Administrators, System Engineers).
- You will process the changes initiated by Change Management.
- You will ensure that documentation is up-to-date: production handbooks, procedures, knowledge base, etc.
- You will keep the knowledge of the team members current through technology watch, training, etc.
- You will escalate to SaaS service providers (e.g., Microsoft Premier Support, etc.).
- You will manage special user accounts (privileged/admin, service/technical accounts, etc.).
- You will automate support and administration tasks through scripting (PowerShell mainly).
- You will provide expert technical advice for changes to existing services or the introduction of new services.
- You will raise and escalate risks and issues as soon as they become apparent, as well as propose plans to mitigate them.
- You will support the Service Delivery Managers in service review meetings with the Local IT teams.
Desired education, expertise, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience;
- At least 5 years of technical experience as System Engineer;
- Fluent in French & English (B1);
- Experience in delivering IT support
- Experience at implementing processes and driving change in general;
- Experience in writing technical documentation, IT procedures, operational reports and user guides;
- Experience of delivering exceptional customer service;
- Previous working experience on the following:
- Intune (administration, building dashboards with Log Analytics, proactive monitoring);
- System-related incidents troubleshooting and proactivity;
- Powershell scripting (ie : create remediation with Intune) and automation;
- ITIL and IT Service Management best practices in general;
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices;
- Microsoft Office 365 suite and its administration (Teams, SharePoint Online, VivaEngage, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform etc.);
- OKTA Platform;
- EntraID Environment;
- ITSM : Service Now;
- macOS experience;
- Proactive and engaged attitude;
