Within the Network & Cybersecurity Services (NCS) division of GBS IT, the Network And Connectivity (NAC) department is composed of the SDM Team, the Expertise Team and the Network Operating Center (NOC) team.

The NOC serves as the operational hub for our Network and Security infrastructures. Our mission is to ensure performance and security across all network and security infrastructures, whether they are in data centers, the cloud, or remote sites (examples: ‘Highway to Cloud’ interconnection infrastructures in AWS/Azure, Cloud Proxy and VPN services with ‘Zscaler,’ Software-Defined WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi services, etc.).

 

The NOC, consisting of over 40 professionals, is structured into two distinct yet complementary teams:

  • NOC Back Office: This team of technical experts focuses on the day-to-day operation of services.
  • NOC Front Office: This team provides crucial support to the Back Office, focusing on industrialization, process management, and operational oversight of infrastructure and managed services.

 

What you will do:

          Incident Management:

  • You will gather needed information from other services (Service Desk and Global Coordination Center), check the priority level (impact and urgency), check the impacted service/customer, and work with the monitoring team to improve the quality of the data in incident tickets. You will assign the ticket to the right L1/L2/L2 level.
  • You will link multiple incidents together when a common root cause can be identified.
  • You will perform the first technical analysis of devices’ status and launch first actions regarding on-site checks with local contacts when necessary (device unreachable).
  • You will create incidents in providers’ portal when necessary (mainly regarding telco providers’ link).
  • You will permanently check the monitoring tools to ensure that every critical alarm is linked to an active incident ticket.
  • You will create new incident tickets when necessary (detection with monitoring tools or customer’s direct request).
  • You will escalate/assign tickets towards Level 2 or Level 3 of the NOC when necessary.
  • You will work with the network tooling team to improve monitoring quality.

 

          Change Management:

  • You will implement basic and simple changes based on a Standard Operation Procedure (SOP).
  • You will assign any other request to Level 2 or Level 3 of the NOC when necessary.

 

 

Desired education, expertise, and skills: 

  •  
  • Basic knowledge of networks’ fundamentals (IP addressing, routing, difference between network devices);
  • Monitoring tool usage (Spectrum, Cacti, Syslog, etc.);
  • Working experience in Ticketing Systems (e.g.: Service Now);
  • Working experience with Cisco LAN, Wifi;
  • DNS, DHCP basic operations;
  • ITIL certifications;
  • Proficiency (spoken and written) both in English and French;
  • Proactive and engaged attitude;
  • Availability and focus on service quality;
  • Teamwork skills;
  • Strong communication skills.

As our Project Assistant – Civil Engineering and Geographical Information Science (GIS) Support Intern, in Columbus, OH. You will be responsible for supporting ENGIE’s Capital Projects and Operations team, concentrated on lifecycle and expansion projects for The Ohio State University’s Utility System.

 

Every day you will assist the capital projects team as assigned. What You Can Expect
As Groundskeeper will report to the site daily and work as the main point of contact in keeping and maintaining the vegetation, such as but not limited to weed eating, using a medium size agriculture tracker, and using a box blade for road repair. You will also oversee the regular scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting for the equipment and vehicles on site.  You will receive and report status updates on assignments and projects from the scheduling software on a computer terminal in the office. This work is completed independently amongst a team of technicians. Periodically you will be expected to manage and communicate with external contractors onsite to ensure compliance and safety.

  • You may be required to work to support solar technicians as needed for safety support other required assignments
  • You may be required to work on call as needed in site

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum 2 years work history using hand tools 
  • You will need to be able to drive a medium size agricultural tracker

What You Can Expect

As our Sustainability Project Management Intern, you will be responsible for supporting ENGIE’s Capital Projects team, concentrated on energy conservation and infrastructure development, maintenance, and academic collaboration projects for The Ohio State University’s Utility System. The primary responsibility for this candidate will be to assist in the execution of a sustainability competition hosted by the Ohio State Energy Partners. The ideal candidate has an interest in obtaining practical experience working in content development and design in the energy industry as well as assisting in various project management tasks.

  • You will collaborate with project managers and teams to create and execute print and digital materials, including fact sheets, infographics, flyers, presentations, construction signage, and reports and assist with procurement and invoice reconciliation for the Combined Heating and Cooling Powerplant project
  • You will design and disseminate marketing content for the biannual Smart Campus Challenge, interfacing with Ohio State staff, stakeholders, student groups, ENGIE personnel, and professionals
  • You will develop interfaces for energy conservation projects and sustainability initiatives, engaging with the Ohio State University community (students, faculty, contributors)
  • You will assess and respond to audience expectations with targeted material, optimizing existing content, and developing templates for consistent design formats, maintaining social media and digital media presence for various audiences
  • You will translate Ohio State Energy Partner’s message to meet marketing and communications needs, producing content for distribution within a 150,000-employee company, and completing other related duties

 

This position will report to the Project Coordinator Analyst. This internship work term will start on June 2, 2025, and end on August 22, 2025.

Role Overview:
As a Credit Control & Collections Associate, you will carry out transactional work such as account reviews to resolve non-payment of energy bills. You will also handle tasks involving internal and external stakeholders, and ad hoc requests within the Energy Supply division. Your role will involve analysing debt to drive good customer outcomes and improve payer performance.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Adhere to internal processes and risk frameworks.
  • Produce and maintain weekly reports on accounts in arrears.
  • Chase payments via telephone, email, and letters.
  • Ensure timely payment of debts.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve customer disputes.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to maximize cash collection and reduce aged debt.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders within the Energy Supply Division.
  • Manage the Debt Collection process with external parties.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and manage administrative duties.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of credit control experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Accurate, efficient, and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Professional, confident, and diplomatic when liaising with others.
  • Intermediate to strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Contexte:

Dans le cadre du développement de nos activités, nous recherchons un stagiaire Assistant Contrôleur de Gestion pour rejoindre notre équipe FinOps BP Clients, basée en France. Cette équipe est chargée du suivi de la performance financière et du contrôle de gestion des activités liées à l'approvisionnement en énergie et à la gestion des risques pour les clients grands comptes d'ENGIE.

 

Rôle:

En tant que Stagiaire Assistant Contrôleur de Gestion, vous aurez pour mission de :

 

  • Contribuer à l'élaboration des reportings de performance financière (suivi du P&L, analyse des variations, prévisions de cash-flow).
  • Participer aux travaux de clôture mensuelle et de consolidation des résultats.
  • Assurer le suivi et l'automatisation des processus de reporting via Excel et Power BI.
  • Aider à la détection et à la résolution des incohérences entre comptabilité et données économiques.
  • Participer à l'amélioration des outils et processus de contrôle de gestion, en proposant des automatisations (VBA, Python, Power Query).
  • Assister les équipes sur les analyses ad hoc et le support aux différentes parties prenantes (Front-Office, Back-Office, comptabilité, risques).

 

Compétences techniques:

  • Excellente maîtrise d'Excel (formules avancées, tableaux croisés dynamiques, VBA serait un plus).
  • Bonne connaissance des outils de data visualisation (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Intérêt pour l'automatisation des processus (Python, Power Query, macros).
  • Compréhension des principes de la comptabilité et du contrôle de gestion.
  • Une expérience préalable avec SAP serait un plus.

What You Can Expect

As the Power Marketing Intern, you will support power marketing and sales efforts targeting Corporate and Industrial (C&I) and utility customers to understand their renewable energy and sustainability goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support Power Marketing Initiatives: Assist the Power Marketing team in promoting grid-scale solar, solar-plus-storage, and wind projects, including bid evaluation, preparation, and creating presentation materials for customers and buyers
  • Market Trend and Transaction Analysis: Identify and analyze national industry trends impacting renewable development opportunities, and assess transaction details to identify risks and opportunities for optimizing project revenue
  • Power Sale Agreements: Support the negotiation and management of long-term power sale agreements with various customers to facilitate the financing and construction of new renewable and/or energy storage projects
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with ENGIE’s project support teams, including development, construction, operations and maintenance, procurement, finance, accounting, energy trading, and transmission analysis teams
  • Market Research and Data Management: Conduct market research, manage data and data rooms, perform competitive analysis, assist with marketing collateral, and provide various ad hoc analyses

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 2nd year undergraduate or graduate degree with at least a current GPA of 2.8 or higher
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Business acumen with an ability to prepare complex quantitative analysis

What You Can Expect

As a Utility Scale Resource Assessment Intern for grid-scale renewable energy at ENGIE North America, you will assist with the resource assessment capabilities of our wind, solar, and battery storage project development platforms. You will work directly with ENGIE resource assessment professionals to support our growing portfolio of grid-scale projects across North America.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Gain valuable resource assessment and data management skills
  • Gain exposure to current renewable energy policies
  • Develop an understanding of wind and solar project development

You will support resource engineering by conducting large spatial and temporal data analytics and monitoring the health of meteorological towers.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be at least a junior or senior (by the end of the spring semester) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, working toward a bachelor’s degree in science, atmospheric science, physics, engineering, math, computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting
  • Experience in wind and solar resource data processing
  • Experience with Windographer, Openwind, and Pvsyst
  • Proficiency in MS Excel macros and VBA scripting
  • Experience with GIS tools such as QGIS
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams

 

Additional Details
