About the role

ENGIE are recruiting for an Account Manager. This role is a Hybrid role with the requirement to visit the Leeds office and other customer locations.
This is a Permanent role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in identifying and developing new opportunities and to ensure a high level of service to customers in order to deliver personal and team based targets.
  • To contribute towards the delivery of the team and sales department’s targets.
  • To be the face of ENGIE for customers, prospects and Key TPIs.
  • To act as a Lead Key Account Manager where required (e.g. to cover annual leave or sickness).
  • To attend external customer meetings where appropriate.
  • To attend internal meetings and support the wider operation teams in delivering service to customers.
  • Work to build and deliver structured relationships with key TPIs and prospects to deliver the required sales targets.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data required to perform the contract, ensure a market leading service and experience for customers & key TPIs and maximising value at all times.

 

Key Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships within the UK industrial and commercial energy supply sector
  • Developed experience of sales process and techniques and optimisation specific to energy supply.
  • Previous industry experience (minimum of 3 years’ experience managing an I&C portfolio)
  • Knowledge of the UK Energy Market with special reference to flexible supply contracts.
  • Knowledge of complex products (traded market) and product development.
  • Knowledge of the management of multi-site customers
  • Knowledge of services, compliance and Energy Efficiency measures.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and IT skills. / Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Commercial awareness, including the ability to negotiate.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and optimisation.

Mission 

You will join the The Business Line Infrastructure of Tractebel.

As Project Director, you will be responsible for the management and implementation of Project Management Consultancy services of new build Large Infrastructures such as Data Center or other large multi-technics projects.

The role of the Project Director consists in the global project management on behalf of the Client of the project execution, including the organization of the staff, the elaboration of project procedures and processes, as per Tractebel and Client standards/tools, the Procurement of Packages to Specialized Contractors (SPCs), the Project Controls, the Commercial and Contract Management, the Construction Management, the QAQC, the Commissioning and Hand-over.

More specifically the Project Director has the following tasks and responsibilities :

 

  • Manage the PMC project team (approx. 40 persons), organize their works, meet them in groups or individually to ensure performance and well-being of the staff;
  • Organize presence of staff on site, back-ups, rotation during holiday period, or week-end/night works;
  • Manage the contact and interactions with the Client, and external stakeholders, formally (official meeting, correspondence) and informally (building relationships and interpersonal trust);
  • Report any major difficulties, concerns, risk to Tractebel Project Director / Project Sponsor, with anticipation;
  • Prepare the Project Execution Plan and others project supporting documents;  
  • Deliver the PMC services at the client satisfaction, together with the PMC team and the different project Key-persons, including but not limited to :
    • Project Controls : build-up the tools and monitor the schedule and cost progress as per Client’s requirement, including critical assessment of SPCs reporting and identification of any deviation/risk anticipatively;
    • Contract and Commercial Management : manage the different SPCs contract, manage the Change (requested by Client or by SPCs), keep records of changes, manage up-to-date financial reporting (earned value, invoiced amounts, etc.);
    • Risk Management ;
    • Construction Management : coordinate the works of the contractors on site, ensure optimized sequence of works, provide Work authorizations,
    • QAQC Management : including Factory Acceptance Test, quality control on site and hand-over to commissioning;
    • HSE Management : including design safety compliance (conformity and records of all law, regulation, standards to be complied with, at SPC level or at project level), Safety on site including Safety supervision and processes, compliance with Social Laws, etc.
  • Ensure good communication in the project: with the client, team members, vendors/partners, external stakeholders;
  • Monitor and ensure the satisfaction of the client and the Tractebel performance on the project (externally and internally);

Profile 

  • Master in Engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum 20 years of professional seniority;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a Project Manager position on large Infrastructure Construction projects, preferably on multi-contractors project;
  • Experience on Data Center projects or similar large Infrastructure ;
  • Knowledge in procurement, construction, contract management, and multidisciplinary project are strong assets;

You will hold a Level 6 academically recognised qualification or above relating to health and safety and have, or be working towards Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).  You will also have an IEMA Foundation Certificate.

Job Purpose/Mission 

The Technical Support Specialist role will ensure the provision of superior customer service throughout the business, through the maintenance, enhancement and efficient operation of IT functions. Additionally, the role will include responsibility for ensuring the security and integrity of IT operations and systems. 

The Technical Support Specialist will work closely with the Global Digital & IT team where escalations are required, including issues of a security nature or where additional expert advice and assistance is required. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

  •  Provide first point of IT Support contact for Uganda staff, covering all computer workstation hardware, software and associated peripherals. 

  • Deploy computers and associated peripherals including new installations and redeployment of existing equipment to defined standards. 

  • Troubleshoot technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to colleagues, suppliers or partner organizations as required. 

  • Log all incidents and service requests in EEA’s designated service desk system, where necessary log issues on behalf of EEA staff. Manage service desk tickets, planning and prioritizing systematically to minimize backlog and ensure operational efficiency. 

  • Be a part of the distributed IT Specialists team across all EEA markets and provide this service for the other countries should the need arise. 

  • Review vendor contracts and coordinate IT-related purchased (hardware, software and services) to ensure effective deployment or solutions aligned with both user needs and EEA standards. 

  • Direct and coordinate the local implementation of EEA Uganda IT operations, projects and programs, ensuring alignment of IT services with the business needs of the area(s) and adherence to established project management principles and best practices. 

  • As a key member of the distributed EEA IT team, lead security initiatives, education and resolution programs to enhance and maintain EEA’s security profile within the overall ENGIE group. 

Technical:

Job Purpose/Mission 

The Regional Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the entire region as per the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals. He will be responsible for growing and managing a healthy customer portfolio in their region, enforcing good customer relationship management and hitting loan recovery targets.  

This crucial position has many important operational responsibilities, including: motivating and monitoring the performance of your Sales Team and Field Training Team; directly managing and coaching team leaders and Field Training Managers; investigating any issues affecting the repayment rates in your region e.g. fraud; managing stakeholder relationships within your region; and bridging the information gap between the field and HQ, with the overall aim to deliver commercial excellence and overall business growth. 

The role will report to the Uganda Commercial Performance Manager, and they will work closely with our field development, marketing and customer finance teams.  The Regional Commercial Manager Manager will also share best practices with teams in other regions as we work to improve commercial operations across Uganda. 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Optimization: 

  • Manage overall business performance of allocated region, define and implement strategies to grow business and recover declining performance. 

  • Credit Risk Management: Ensure your region maintains a healthy portfolio, with most customers trending towards completion – and quickly investigate on the ground and react with a change in strategy when customer repayment falls below acceptable levels.  

  • Coordinate the implementation of the marketing initiatives while ensuring we get maximum return on investment for all the costs we incur in areas of marketing.  

  • Propose new polices to iterate business strategy, as per the context of different regions   

  

  1. New Point of Sale expansion and Brand footprint: 

  • Lead in the regional expansion by ensuring the retail network in your region grows with the help of an Area Retail Coordinator hired under each Team leader. 

  • Keep an eye on competition within your region and ensure you take adequate measures to protect and grow our business from competitive pressures.  

  • Pro-actively inform your leadership team and take measures to ensure My Sol remains a paramount brand name in solar products for your area.  

  • Design working strategies for getting >80% of Point of Sales delivering >150 sales per month. 

  • Prospects and Map potential sales locations, neighborhoods and towns to boost footprint and baseline structures. 

  

  1. Recruit, Train, and Mentor regional teams:  

  • Recruit and Train Sales field team (Team leaders and My sol champions) (in existing and new areas) about Sales strategy and processes, ensuring High quality cohorts . 

  • Use multiple avenues for finding the right talent to sell our products with the help of village influencers such as the village heads, teachers, religious heads, doctors, farmers and others, as applicable.  

  • Provide complete clarity to the regional team related to their day-to-day tasks, sales & collections plans, routes and targets. 

  • Manage performance and Coach low performing sales field team (including Agents) 

  

 Knowledge and skills  

  • >5 years sales experience within a progressive sale and/or financial services environment or rural environment, with at least 3 years in management role, leading large teams   

  • Experience in Data-Driven Decision-making process

  • Experience working in rural areas

The entity from Romania is currently seeking an Overhead Line (OHL) Design Engineer. The team is involved in a wide range of different projects, both in Romania and internationally.

 

Your function

  • Design of HV OHLs to meet client specifications and expectations.
  • Participate in the implementation of projects, ensuring compliance with technical regulations and laws.
  • Share expertise and knowledge with project teams to enhance project outcomes.
  • Utilize design software tools, primarily Autocad 2D, and PLS Tower.
  • Ensure adherence to design norms and regulations throughout project phases.

Candidate’s profile

  • Bachelor´s degree in the field of Engineering .
  • In-depth knowledge of HV OHLs.
  • Familiarity with HV substation design.

  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is an added advantage.

You will join TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING, ENGIE Group to primarily support the operations of the Dutch affiliate i.e., TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING B.V. (TE BV). In this function you will operationally report to the Engineering & Operations (E&O) Manager of TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING B.V.

 

The main mission of TE BV is to establish; and facilitate the development and the commercialization of the engineering services both in Nuclear and outside Nuclear in the Netherlands. The engineering services in the nuclear sector are expected to cover Nuclear New Build Projects, Medical applications, Small and Modular Reactors (SMR) and other nuclear applications. The office of Tractebel Engineering B.V. will be in the Randstad region with a hybrid mode of working.

 

Your function

 

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the management and/or execution of the projects being led by TE BV with a deeper focus on the technical aspects while constantly striving to ensure alignment with the state-of-the-art and customer expectations. Acting in a support role to the E&O Manager and being responsible for:

  • Providing technical consultancy services to clients;
  • Reviewing project deliverables (design reports, analysis reports, calculations, documents, drawings…) and taking responsibility for the quality and technical integration of work being overseen;
  • Providing engineering support with the preparation of technical deliverables including design documents,  technical specifications, test procedures, commissioning plans, etc;
  • Interfacing with the Metiers to obtain data and resolve issues relevant to design;
  • Conducting technical / project management meetings in front of peers, partners, clients or suppliers;
  • Leading, mentoring, coaching and training less experienced staff;
  • Participating in preparation of technical proposals as Technical Proposal Manager, in support to the BD & Sales Manager;
  • Participating, in support to the BD & Sales Manager, to engage with prospective activities (meetings with potential Client);

You will play an important role in achieving our ambition to boost the development of TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING B.V. in the Netherlands and abroad.

Your profile 

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree from an accredited engineering and/or business university
  • You have minimum 7+ years of experience in the nuclear industry;
  • You have demonstrated experience in projects related to nuclear safety and licensing and possess a comprehensive understanding of nuclear regulation in the Netherlands
  • You have an excellent command of English and Dutch (or willing to learn Dutch in the short term)
  • You are good at listening to customers and anticipate their needs.
  • You are a natural communicator (both oral and written) and are able to explain complex topics in understandable language to your different stakeholders.
  • You have strategic thinking and negotiating skills.

What You Can Expect

As the Digital & Control System Project Manager for ENGIE’s North America, you will be apart of a crucial role in comprehending ENGIE’s existing contracts and spearheading the deployment of digital platforms, upgrade of controls systems, maintenance excellence, cybersecurity or extension of operational technology (OT) networks. Everyday, you will report to the Applications Management Director to assist with contract and concession digital & IT compliance, as well as  collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion within the specified budget and timeline. Ideally, this person will be experienced in all aspects  of operations, maintenance, and have extensive technical expertise for control system, data acquisition, data transmission, and platform to guarantee continuous data flow, maintain data quality and enhance end-user satisfaction.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer Engineering, Data Science or similar field and seven (7) years of proven experience in project management/ control system experience with a track record of leading or deploying complex projects in a professional setting; in lieu of a four-year degree, you should bring a total of nine (9) years of experience in which you have gain an understanding of project management/ control systems experience

  • Understanding of OT communication networks, with proven experience with Analog/Digital, BACnet IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and OPC UA protocols
  • Previous experience with edge connectivity solutions and IoT technologies (REST API/ MQTT/ FTP) and networks
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise with a problem-solving mindset is essential for ensuring continuous operation and end-user satisfaction
  • Proven experience delivering performance reports and presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable of energy engineering with proven experience in operational efficiency and asset performance monitoring

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, in office three days a week
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% / internationally two times a year with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually
