JOUW UITDAGING als Senior Procesoperator (M/V/X)

 

Als Senior procesoperator ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse uitbating en opvolging van onze WKK-installaties bij onze klanten. Met als voornaamste doel: een veilige en efficiënte uitbating te garanderen.  

 

Technische opvolging:

  • Je stelt de installatie (transformatoren, turbines, elektrische borden etc) veilig ter voorbereiding van onderhoudswerken.
  • Je start een installatie na onderhoud opnieuw op.
  • Je analyseert storingen en bedrijfsproblemen, en doet hiervoor de gepaste verbeteringsvoorstellen.
  • Je bent de eerste contactpersoon voor de industriële klanten.
  • Je werkt in opdracht van de shiftleider en rapporteert aan hem.

 

Administratieve opvolging:

  • Opmaken van verbetervoorstellen, je werkt mee aan stilstand -en incidentverslagen.
  • Je zorgt voor de administratieve voorbereiding en opvolging van onderhoudswerken in ons systeem.

 

 

JOUW PROFIEL als Senior Procesoperator (M/V/X)

 

  • Je beschikt over een technische graduaat of bachelor of je hebt een gelijkwaardige ervaring opgedaan als operator.
  • Je hebt minimum 3 jaar professionele ervaring in een technische functie in een industriële productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt goede communicatievaardigheden en spreekt vloeiend Nederlands.
  • Je bent bereid om in volcontinu stelsel te werken.

What You Can Expect

As the Regional Operations Director, US Renewable Generation you will provide management direction to ENGIE North America (ENGIE NA) renewable generation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for management and oversight of assets, including responsibility to ensure safety, superior operational performance, profitability, contract compliance, decision making and problem solving, regulatory compliance, legal interface, guidance and direction to Regional and Site Managers, and monitoring plant activities. You will actively promote a safety-minded working environment and safety programs consistent with the ENGIE NA Health and Safety Principle and ENGIE’s global governance initiatives. On a daily basis you will set objectives for the team in alignment with ENGIE NA strategic plan and maintains a record of their performance through regular evaluations and make recommendations for merit increases and incentive pay. Every day you will monitor the day-to-day operation, maintenance, fiscal, and administrative functions of each operating facility.

 

The Regional Operations Director will optimize plant technical performance through enhancements, upgrades and modifications to physical site equipment. You are expected to improve plant financial performance through modifications to contracts, reflecting changes in market design or operating philosophy as well as apply emerging trends to add value to existing and future ENGIE NA projects. You are responsible for the oversight and direction of plant compliance with company policies and procedures, governmental regulations, Power Purchase contract compliance, operations and maintenance agreements, annual operating plans, and good engineering practices at each facility.

 

  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and procedures
  • Supporting the VP Field Operations in the hiring, termination, and pay schedules for ENGIE NA operating facilities
  • Recommend the hiring, termination, and pay schedules for Regional and Site Mangers positions for approval by the VP Field Operations and COO at ENGIE NA
  • Prepare and submit for review and approval annual and long term strategic plans, budgets and periodic reports for ENGIE NA managed facilities
  • Direct lender-required technical and budget review programs.
  • Identify and direct professional development of subordinates, including identifying needs and supporting plans
  • Comply with all ENGIE NA policies and procedures
  • Interface with commercial organization to enhance communications, outage decision making, dispatch decisions, metric utilization, and plant capability to maximize economic performance and/or optimize the sale of energy output from the facilities
  • Oversee the management of a portfolio of power generation facilities as an independent power producer operating in regulated, merchant, and PPA environments

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma/technical degree or equivalent education where you gain knowledge and or experience with leadership, management, communication, organizational, operational and prioritization skills
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with demonstrated leadership and management of staff
  • Working knowledge with Development, Operations, Maintenance, Dispatch and Optimization of Wind and Solar Assets

What You Can Expect

As the Operations Manager for this 200 MW power plant situated in Eldorado, TX, you bear the responsibility for overseeing total employment, training, schedules, safety, and the day-to-day financial operations of the site. In your capacity as lead of safety, it is imperative to ensure that all permits and reports are current, valid, and in compliance with both federal and state regulatory agencies. You will be tasked with the management of vendors, subcontractors, maintenance, and consultants, coordinating efforts with third parties. Additionally, you will handle the troubleshooting of Balance of Plant (BOP) switching, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) functions, and communicate with landowners and local communities.

 

Your managerial role extends to leading a team comprising one technician. Utilizing systems like Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), you will monitor daily asset performance and regulatory compliance to meet standards set by organizations such as the National Electrical Renewables Council (NERC). Your responsibilities involve utilizing various computer-based systems, ensuring the timely update and maintenance of all documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional management may be necessary to provide reports on the status, progress, and development of various projects on-site. Additionally, to ensure swift response to emergencies caused by outages, scheduled maintenance, and on-call reporting, it is required that you live within a 50-mile radius of the site.

 

  • Able to provide technical and management support for the design and operations of the wind farm site
  • Must be willing to attain substation technician certification within 12 months of hire date
  • Carries out all responsibilities under environmental legislation to prevent environmental spills
  • Manages a safety program that complies with all Federal and State requirements ensuring the safe operation of the site regarding the public, employees, and equipment
  • Cooperates with internal and third parties including Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) regarding safety and regulatory compliance and responds to their recommendations in a timely manner

 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • High school diploma/ technical degree or equivalent education where you gain knowledge and or experience with leadership, management, communication, organizational, operational and prioritization skills
  • Must have five (5) years’ experience in a related industry where you have experience with industrial electrical equipment, power generations, thermal generations, line, and utility scale equipment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in leadership or supervisory role of technical, operations or maintenance personnel
  • Working knowledge of wind power generating equipment and technologies and substations to identify, categorize and troubleshoot
  • Must be physically capable of entering and working in a confined space (crawl spaces, shafts, small enclosed areas) as well as work at various heights and in adverse conditions during operations, shutdowns, and in fire/emergency activities
  • Must be physically capable of wearing protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to half and full-face respirators, fall protection equipment, hardhat, safety shoes, safety glasses
  • Knowledge of using equipment suitable for lifting up to 50 lbs, if necessary

We are currently building out our Interconnection Team's pipeline of candidates across the United States for future projects. As Manager of Interconnection you will be responsible for managing the interconnection and grid integration process to support the company's overall development and operational goals in ERCOT, CAISO, and/or MISO. Focus will be on the Company’s existing ~10 GW pipeline of utility scale stand-alone energy storage projects in, as well as new project analysis. You will be responsible for transmission-related topics including tariffs, planning, technical evaluation, negotiation of contractual agreements with utilities, and the overall interconnection process through the full life cycle of development and construction of projects.

 

Every day you will manage the interconnection process and monitor key milestones throughout the lifecycle of the project from early-stage development to commercial operation. You will also function as main liaison with project developers, and third-party consultants, on matters relating to interconnection to provide technical insight and business solutions to reduce interconnection cost and remove obstacles to project development.

 

  • Coordinate, review and interpret interconnection and transmission studies performed by utilities and outside consultants
  • Perform analysis to predict interconnection capacity, deliverability, and other key parameters to support project development. This involves expertise in load flow modeling and analysis
  • Conduct due-diligence review for potential interconnection and transmission risks related to potential projects, portfolio acquisitions, and commercial transactions; provide recommendations to the acquisition team
  • Perform transmission assessments and policy reviews to forecast future system conditions and determine commercial viability to support development and construction activities
  • Collaborate with engineering team in optimizing project’s engineering design in support of grid integration requirements 
  • Represent the Company and establish/maintain productive relationships with key utility and industry groups, regulators and other stakeholders on issues related to transmission and interconnection
  • Monitor regional transmission planning process and interconnection policy changes; participate as stakeholder in transmission and market-related regulatory activities as necessary with collaboration with the Company’s regulatory and development teams
  • Review utility transmission planning reports and present findings to the Company
  • Provide technical support for project development and acquisition activities in the evaluation of transmission system and planning issues
  • Actively monitor the progress of required system upgrades and identify creative mitigation solutions to support development of projects

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Construction, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Management, or another Analytical field required
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant work experience and two (2) years of experience in transmission planning or generation interconnection at a developer or consulting firm
  • Deep understanding of the interconnection process in ERCOT, CAISO, and/or MISO 
  • Experience in transmission planning, grid operation and generator interconnection topics in ERCOT, CAISO, and/or MISO
  • Familiar with power system modeling and transmission planning/generator interconnection studies
  • Have established or able to establish strong working relationships with utilities and industry stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze power flow and system impact studies for interconnection of multiple types of generation
  • Understanding of electrical diagrams/systems and preliminary site plans
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, capable of applying advanced engineering principles to identify and solve complex issues

About the role

 

We are recruiting a Anaerobic Digestion Feedstock Manager based  in our plant known Gorst Energy in Exeter. This is a Permanent role, working  37 hours per week.

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Identify feedstock sources and opportunities.
  • Cultivate leads and track them through to completion.
  • Visit new and existing suppliers and develop / maintain relationships.
  • Organise, plan and schedule feedstock deliveries across the portfolio of sites, ensuring they arrive on time and to expected specification.
  • Sourcing feedstock for disaster recovery purposes
  • Feedstock contract management e.g. negotiations/reviews
  • Feedstock sampling and inspection regimes
  • Maintain a testing and monitoring regime on new and existing feedstock lines.
  • Track feedstock usage and expenditure and report back to site managers and directors
  • Compile feedstock performance data and KPI reporting.
  • Perform regular site visits and build strong working relationships with site managers to understand their site processes and requirements.
  • Assist with site audits relating to feedstock
  • Develop and manage a strategy for digestate management and disposal for all sites.
  • Investigate and develop a monetarised disposal route if practicable.
  • Assist with training and understanding for site staff of feedstock usage and quality.

 

 

Key Requirements

  • Degree in agriculture or similar
  • Extensive experience in Agriculture
  • Experience in Anaerobic Digestion or a similar industry desirable but not essential

A rare opportunity to work for an innovative organisation in the heart of Cheshire, within a small, high-performing Engineering and Maintenance team. The Stublach Site is the largest onshore natural gas storage asset in the UK, with the company having expansion ambitions in new business areas.

Storengy UK are seeking an Electrical Engineer, with a strong operational background within the major accident hazard environment; oil, gas, chemicals, power etc.

Are you an electrical engineering all-rounder? Are you fully up to speed with the regulatory requirements of COMAH, DSEAR, HV and ATEX? Are you used to working within a fast-paced maintenance/engineering team? Do you have a can-do attitude? Do you have Upper Tier COMAH site experience? Are you self-motivated? Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas, or process industries. Preferably in a site based Electrical Engineering role, but open to general electrical experienced Engineers with a willingness to further develop into this role

  • High Voltage authorisation
  • High level of attention to detail – essential for this role

Context:

Internal Audit is responsible for periodic control. As such, GEMS Internal Audit Expertise Center (EC Audit) provides professional, objective and independent assessments of GEMS operations by delivering qualitative assurance audit and consultancy services, aiming at adding value and helping the organization improve the performance, efficiency and level of control of operations. Internal Audit verifies that inside practices and processes comply with established rules and regulations and makes recommendations to improve the control framework.

EC Audit’s covers the full spectrum of GEMS activities

 

EC Audit is a team of 7, composed of 6 Internal Auditors plus the Head of EC.

 

In GEMS organization & governance, EC Audit has a hierarchical link with GEMS CFO as well as with the Chairman of EGM Audit Committee and ensures its independency through a functional reporting line to ENGIE Group Internal Audit.

 

 

Role:

We are recruiting an Internal Auditor with a strong expertise in Energy commodity trading, Risk Management & Energy Management.

 

The Internal Auditor will be led to perform audit engagements on the full spectrum of GEMS activities. This wide scope covers Engie Global Markets (EGM), the banking-regulated entity regulated by the French Banking Authority ACPR, as third line of defense required by regulation, but also all Energy Management activities (Gas, Power, Renewables, …) as well as all BtoB Supply activities of GEMS.

The Internal Auditor could also be required to occasionally contribute to ENGIE Group Internal Audit engagements on Energy Management.

 

The position reports to the Head of GEMS EC Audit.

 

The Internal Auditor’s daily responsibilities will consist in conducting end-to-end audits as detailed below:

  • Validate the audit scope and submit the engagement letter in compliance with audit professional standards
  • Build a robust working program and obtain its approval by the Head of Internal Audit
  • Respect the planning and the deadlines
  • Lead the fieldwork and document the audit work in the testing worksheets by collecting evidence to support the audit conclusions
  • Prepare discussion notes and debriefing sessions and give adequate and correct feedback to all stakeholders and the Head of Internal Audit
  • Write an audit report in a synthetic way with clear and realistic audit findings
  • Alert in due time the Head of Internal Audit and the Management in case of any potential regulatory or significant risks that might affect the audit mission or the GEM business continuity

Auditors of the team act in turn as Lead Auditor on the various missions.

They are strongly empowered at all stages of the audit mission, from scoping and defining the work program to the fieldwork or report phase.

The position enables to work on very varied subjects, in diverse environments and is characterized by numerous interactions with very varied stakeholders, including the entity’s ExCom members or top management of the Group.

 

As part of EC Audit team, the Internal Auditor’s responsibilities also include contributing to :

  • Building the Audit Plan in line with the banking regulatory requirements (for EGM) and the International Internal Audit standards by applying a risk based approach.
  • Ensuring Continuous improvement of EC Audit’s methodologies and tools
  • Performing watch on regulations, standards and norms
  • Creating a constructive relationship with GEMS other control functions, GEMS management and all audited teams, as well as with ENGIE Group Internal Audit

MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for the commercial structuring and revenue modeling, storage systems economics for utility scale In Front of the Meter Energy Storage Solutions. 
  • Develops methodologies for identifying nodes with frequent congestion and potential value; coordinates with development team to evaluate ISOs and identify nodes for greenfield development;
  • Creates and maintains a market fundamentals and project data database; develops project revenues model underwriting assumptions in alignment with investment criteria and revenue / off-take efforts for multiple markets and at deal level; 
  • Manages external resources to conduct transmission analyses; 
  • Assists with performing due diligence on acquisition targets;
  • Supports pricing and structuring of hedges and off-take agreements; 
  • Reviews project pro forma financial models to understand development risk and how returns are impacted;

  • Assists with development of the go-to-market strategy; 
  • Acts as one of a group of energy storage subject matter experts;

Minimum Qualifications
