Jouw missie   

 

Als Fire Safety Engineer  in onze afdeling Buildings draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in het ondersteunen van je collega’s bij het uitwerken en in uitvoering brengen van onze infrastructuurprojecten.  

  

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden   

 

  • Samenwerken in multidisciplinaire teams voor onze bouwprojecten

 

  • Ontwerpprincipes en detailengineering opmaken voor brandveiligheid, ontroking en branddetectie

 

  • Risicoanalyses maken

 

  • Uitvoeren van evacuatie- en rooksimulaties

 

  • Ontwerpnotities, concepten en technische specificaties maken;

 

  • Opstellen van nood- en interventieplannen

 

  • Instructies geven aan en ondersteunen van het BIM / 3D / CAD-team met behulp van de nieuwste ICT-tools;

 

  • Kostenramingen maken, in coördinatie met leveranciers;

 

  • Inspecteren en valideren van installaties, systemen en apparatuur tijdens de bouw op locatie;

 

  • Handhaven van de kwaliteitsrichtlijnen.

  • Een masterdiploma als Fire safety Engineer

 

  • Minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring in brandveiligheid

 

  • Een goede kennis van branddetectie, sprinklersystemen en ontrokingssystemen

Job responsibility 

 

 

Safety at Work 

 

  • Ensures a safe working environment for himself, his colleagues and contractors while working on any equipment. 

  • Ensures that there is a Permit to Work for each job as necessitated by the safety rules and associated Procedures. 

  • Ensures all Method Statements Work Instruction and Procedures are followed by himself and Contractors while undertaking any work.

Maintenance Task Planning and Execution 

 

  • Completes all Work Orders generated in CMMS as directed by the Lead Mechanical Engineers. 

  • Ensures that maintenance of all mechanical equipment is in accordance with OEM Manuals and best practises for the equipment. 

  • Works to full potential and  produces high quality of work. 

 

Equipment Failure Trouble Shooting and Repair 

 

  • Supports the 24-hour operation by being regularly available for call-out at short notice. 

  • Attempts all possible means of reducing equipment downtime and ensuring high Plant availability. 

  • Records and reports to the Mechanical Engineer all rectification jobs undertaken. 

 

Reporting and Planning 

 

  • Discuss planned and unplanned jobs undertaken with the Mechanical Engineer. 

 

Use of Tools and Equipment 

 

  • Ensures appropriate tools and equipment are available at work sites and used while performing any job. 

  • Ensures that tools are in a safe and in good working order before use. 

  • Reports loss of tools or damage to any tools to the Lead Mechanical Engineers. 

  • Informs the Mechanical Engineer of any requirements for tools. 

 

Technical  

 

  • Good mechanical engineering foundation and practical knowledge of how it applies to modern power plant and desalination plant processes. 

  • Practical experience of maintaining a wide range of rotating and static equipment gained through hands on experience and formal training 

  • Capable to ensure a safe working environment for himself and his colleagues while working on any equipment. 

  • Assume ownership of plant mechanical equipment and strives to keep them in the best possible condition. 

  • Ability to carry out maintenance activities on a range of major engineering components and systems in accordance with OEM Manuals for the equipment. 

  • Organizing spares, tools and equipment to carry out maintenance activities 

  • Performs troubleshooting activities as necessary to determine failure conditions and rectifies the defects found. 

  • Works with Plant Operations Personnel for resolving problems encountered with mechanical equipment under the guidance of the Lead Mechanical Engineers. 

  • Be an active part of the maintenance team and help it to meet appropriate people and plant related performance measures. 

  • Ability to carry out duties with minimum supervision.

What You Can Expect

As an Augmented Maintenance Project Support (AMPS) Technician or Traveling Solar, Wind, Bess Technician, your role involves providing onsite support services in the central region of Texas and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for project commissioning, inspection, troubleshooting, analysis, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of operational assets. These assets include wind turbines, solar panels, BESS storage technology, and high or medium voltage substations. Your focus will be on optimizing generation availability, improving operational reliability, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Reporting to the Director of Field Services (AMPS), you’ll deliver reactive, predictive, and preventive maintenance support, adhering to NERC requirements for inspection, testing, and documentation. This encompasses a wide range of equipment, from wind turbines and solar inverters to batteries, weather stations, PV arrays, breakers, transformers, regulators, capacitors, and reactors.

 

As an active participant in the behavior-based safety program, ensure that all team members and contractors comply with safety procedures and task-oriented job safety analyses. Communicate and enforce site safety rules through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and meetings. Demonstrate procedural compliance in site operation and maintenance by following established procedures. Facilitate daily work, including report production. Inspect, operate, and repair site equipment both directly and remotely. Coordinate High Voltage (HV) switching and curtailments with local utilities and the Independent System Operator (ISO). Maintain site equipment to the highest standards for availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability. Use work planning skills, schedule activities, and follow up to ensure work conformance. Conduct routine inspections, prepare oil analysis samples, and use safety tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). Manage on-site work coordination among contractors and vendors, support technology upgrades, and maintain cleanliness. Comply with contractual and legal obligations impacting plant operation. Provide equipment operation training to contractors and other site employees. Consistently apply Job Safety Plan techniques, hazard controls, and permits to work (LOTO) when addressing plant abnormalities and equipment failures. Utilize computerized Work Order, Purchase Requisition, and Receiving software.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors or Equivalent Military or Trade school
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Battery Energy Storage Systems, (BESS), Wind generation sites, Utility scale power plants, Sub-station POI, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance. Renewables Solar and BESS construction experience or commissioning power plants a plus
  • HV Experience. Trades qualifications and certifications acceptable: (HV Lineman, Electrician, Substation Technician, or Controls Technician)
  • Obtain AVO certification or equivalent as substation technician within 12 months of hire date
  • Be proficient in using and maintaining SCADA systems

 

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring daily travel to client site(s)
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages up to 70% of the time
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
  • Ability to travel nationally at short notice and work for periods of time remote from your home to support our operational assets
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing

Compensation

What You Can Expect

As the Project Manager II, working in a self-managed team concept, reporting to one of the campus Program Managers. As part of the ENGIE capital projects team based at the University of Iowa, you will be responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the two local University campuses. Projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $15M, with completion of each taking the span of 1-3 years.

 

 

This position is being hired in support of a 50 year concession agreement to operate, maintain and enhance the University of Iowa’s utility system.  The projects you’ll take on will involve numerous and diverse projects in the areas of electric and thermal energy production and distribution, and storm- and wastewater infrastructure.

 

No two days are the same, starting with the development stage  you will be submitting reports and conducting meetings with Team members, subcontractors and stakeholders on a regular basis, providing oversight and sharing updates on projects and planning, solving construction challenges through collaboration  and clearing the path and working towards successful completion. The key measurements of success are successful completion of projects with no health, safety or environmental and public relations,  on time and under budget.  You will be managing contracts for both Design and construction of capital projects within the central plants, and managing project teams made of internal staff, external consultants  and Operations and maintenance staff.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other technical field Or,  a Bachelor’s degree (any major) and an additional two (2) years of Project Management experience in industrial projects in lieu of the Engineering / Technical degree
  • You have a minimum two (2) years’ of project management experience managing the scope development, estimates, stakeholder management, contracting, cost development, cost tracking, project execution, commissioning, and closeout of projects
  • You possess or have the desire to obtain a PMP Certification
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, colleagues, and contractors, including engineers, architects, and construction firms to develop and execute projects
  • You utilize new budgets and cost tracking devices to provide input to long-term financial planning, issue contracts, change contract orders, and process invoices
  • You have monitored project progress in design and construction phases through regular contractor and stakeholder interaction both virtually and in-person on work sites
  • You can liaise with ENGIE entities and colleagues for knowledge sharing

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance in the office a minimum of four days a week, or as required by project activities
  • Although rare, some projects might require nights or weekend work to support outages

¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Responsable del traspaso de instalaciones de transmisión (Handover), sean líneas o subestaciones eléctricas, desde el área de Implementación de proyectos al área de O&M de Transmisión, asegurando calidad, cumplimiento de normativas técnicas y permisos asociados, para la correcta puesta en servicio y posterior operación de las instalaciones.

 

Funciones:

  • Controlar y coordinar el proceso de traspaso (Handover) de instalaciones de transmisión desde la Gerencia de Implementación de Proyectos (GIP) al área de Operación y Mantenimiento de Transmisión, informando oportunamente las desviaciones a las áreas interesadas.
  • Coordinar la participación de las diferentes áreas involucradas en el Handover, tanto los responsables de entregables como los que reciben, ya sean visitas a terreno o fábrica, pruebas de equipos, inspecciones, caminatas O&M, gestión documental, convenios, etc.
  • Asegurar que el punch-list acordado con Implementación de proyectos, incorpore todos los pendientes, tanto los identificados por área de proyectos, como los indicados en las caminatas O&M, asegurando la documentación digital y física, permisos, información técnica, planos, protocolos, reporte de pruebas, equipos, softwares, etc.
  • Asegurar la calidad de las instalaciones, creando las instancias de retroalimentación al área de Implementación de proyectos para la mejora continua en las especificaciones, ingenierías y buenas prácticas detectadas por personal O&M y/o el grupo ENGIE, documentando dichas mejoras.
  • Aprobar, en conjunto con personal de O&M, los protocolos de pruebas que sean necesarias para asegurar la calidad en la recepción y prueba de equipos.
  • Coordinar la participación temprana y oportuna del personal de O&M, durante la implementación de los proyectos, con visitas a terreno, caminatas y capacitaciones necesarias para operar y mantener las nuevas instalaciones.
  • Reportar e informar frecuentemente el estado de los proyectos a las áreas de O&M para designar los participantes en las distintas etapas del Handover, identificando a tiempo los responsables, administradores de contrato o coordinadores que se requieran en la etapa de operación.

 

Requisitos del cargo:

  • Formación académica: Ingeniería en Ejecución/ Civil Eléctrica, Industrial, Eléctrica, o equivalente.
  • Conocimientos en Gestión de proyectos.
  • Conocimientos en Ejecución de proyectos eléctricos de Líneas y Subestaciones.
  • Conocimientos en Marco regulatorio eléctrico nacional.
  • Conocimientos en Mantenimiento de sistemas eléctricos de potencia.
  • Manejo del proceso de interconexión ante el Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional.
  • Ingles intermedio.
  • Al menos 5 años de experiencia en gestión/ejecución de proyectos de Transmisión y Control de Calidad en proyectos de Alta Tensión.
  • Experiencia mínima de 7 años en empresas del rubro energía.

Responsibilities

- Act as the Project Manager and act as a Single Point of Contact with Owner´s and contractors.

- As the Owner´s Representative, lead the project team (construction managers and inspectors, procurement team, Project Control, QA/QC, HSE, HR, Engineering, commissioning).

- Assist the Owner on contractual matters, schedules and milestones. Communicate and anticipate potential risks in project plan.

- With the procurement team, support the project Owner on procurement strategies, scope of works splitting between contractors, and division of responsibilities.

- Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve issues that arise during the project, support the coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors for timely resolution

- Promote the project and construction follow-up meetings with constructor and Owner.

- Be attentive to any Health&Safety and promote a good working environment with the project.

 

Requisites:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction related discipline or equivalent experience. Above 15 years of construction-related project management experience, specifically within Critical mission or Data Centers. Knowledge of commercial and utility construction including practices and sequence of work.

- 15+ years of experience involved in industrial critical projects (GIS & AIS Substation, data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water etc.).

- Ability to manage field construction activities and labor, extensive knowledge of general construction methods

- Ability to manage multiple budgets and schedules.

- Certifications: Project Manager certifications is preferred but not required.

- Fluent written and verbal communication (English and Spanish) skills required. Ability work no Owner´s site location (Santiago metropolitan area).

What You Can Expect

As a Senior Credit Manager (Senior Advisor), you will lead traditional wholesale counterparty credit functions for renewable power products, gas and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Your responsibilities include annual credit reviews, contract negotiations, deal approval and negotiation of credit terms for non-standard transactions.

 

  • Conduct ongoing monitoring for a portfolio of counterparties, tracking both individual counterparties and broader industry and market conditions
  • Assess credit risk associated with Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and recommend risk mitigation measures
  • Construct creative credit solutions for structured transactions incorporating a quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Evaluate and challenge computations of potential future credit exposure as prepared by the risk team
  • Collaborate with legal, commercial and risk teams to negotiate master agreements related to bi-lateral trading and structured transactions, including Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
  • Prepare slides for quarterly credit committee and prepare and validate month-end credit reports used for management communication and financial reporting
  • Manage assigned team member(s) and develop both personal and company growth
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in which you completed courses in Accounting, Finance or other disciplines
  • 10 years’ professional experience required, with at least 7 years in Wholesale Energy Credit Risk Management 
  • Knowledge of Excel and other MS Office suite software
  • Knowledge of CapIQ credit scoring tool or similar
  • Familiarity with CubeLogic or similar credit monitoring system

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually
