What You Can Expect

As the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Senior Advisor you will support the Utility Scale Flexible Generation Development business in the US and Canada by managing the M&A process for the operating area in addition to supporting the global business planning process.  Additionally, you will be primarily focused on standalone energy storage project and platform acquisition.

Every day in this role you will is to lead M&A transactions and coordinate activities internally and externally. You will also support the valuation process by collecting and validating pro forma modeling inputs and working collaboratively with the project finance team.

• Lead counterparty negotiations and keep external and internal conversations aligned and moving forward
• Lead the development of material to support internal governance process
• Support the M&A team on transactions, process development, process management and market entry plans
• Maintain transaction data and support group reporting
• Sit first chair (and occasionally second chair) on transactions and run workstreams within transactions
• Develop and maintain, with other groups, commercial and competitive intelligence

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, science, engineering or similar technical or analytics based program
• A minimum of seven (7) years of energy industry experience in increasing levels of responsibility at a developer, utility, bank, investor or similar market participant
• Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing detailed, Excel-based, financial models
• Energy market experience and expertise
• Commercial acumen in addition to deep analytic and/or technical capabilities
• Ability to design processes and execute programs within a cross functional environment.

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually

ENERGY PROCUREMENT ANALYST 
NATURAL GAS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

SUMMARY:

The Energy Procurement Analyst is a key role in providing comprehensive conventional/renewable energy procurement and analytic services by supplying product recommendations, energy market and utility tariff analysis, pricing evaluation, and contract management to ENGIE Impact client delivery teams and clients. They are experts in assigned deregulated and renewable energy markets. This role provides these services throughout North America markets, as well as globally on an as needed basis.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide conventional/renewable energy procurement consulting and analytic services to ENGIE Impact client delivery teams including, but not limited to: RFP development, market assessment, risk management, consultative procurement recommendations, strategy development, contract negotiation, contract management, and product management.
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with ENGIE Impact stakeholders and clients.
• Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of assigned regulatory markets.
• Communicate with suppliers, utilities, local distribution companies, and public utility commissions to gather timely, accurate, and complete energy market intelligence in advancement of client strategies.

• Develop and present training to Energy Supply Management (ESM) staff on conventional/renewable energy markets and products.

Education/Certification/Knowledge: 

• Four-year college degree, or equivalent.
• Engineering degree a plus.

Experience:

• Three years of relevant experience, particularly in the areas of energy procurement, energy contracting, renewable energy products, utility tariffs, finance, risk management, or quanitative analyst. 
• Utility experience or knowledge of utility bill calculations preferred. 

Skills/Abilities:

As the SCADA Engineering Manager in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America (ENA), you will lead a team of SCADA Engineers in development and support of SCADA projects for renewable generation (Wind and Solar) in North America (US and Canada). Everyday, you will report to the Applications Management Director to provide information technology and operational technology support for construction and commissioning of Wind, Solar and Battery Storage Systems. This person needs to have a good understanding of programming Schweitzer (SEL) protection relays SEL-351, SEL-487, including RTAC-3530 along with be proficient in Schneider-EVEVA Wonderware System Platform (2020-2023) to preform and complete engineering projects and development in a timely manner.

• A minimum of an Associates degree in automation and Controls Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, Computer Programming Engineering or equivalent

• A minimum of seven (7) years of industrial automation working experience in the Power Sector
• Experience in leading/managing a team of SCADA engineers

Who We're Looking For

• Strong experience in procurement of small and large volumes;
• Commercial and financial awareness as managing budgets and keeping costs down is a key part of the role;
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
• English proficiency (other languages are a plus);

Atualmente estamos a recrutar para a nossa empresa Engie Soluções de Energia, um(a) Business Developer para a nossa Sede em Lisboa.

Missão

A pessoa selecionada será responsável por desenvolver o negócio da plataforma de Energy Performance Services, a qual inclui serviços de manutenção e operação e de eficiência energética.

O que pode esperar

Reportando diretamente ao Diretor Comercial, a função tem como principais responsabilidades:

• Desenvolvimento de negócios baseados em soluções do portfolio da ENGIE para clientes dos setores industrial e terciário:
• Angariação de novos clientes
• Elaboração de propostas comerciais
• Participação ativa e seguimento da negociação de propostas
• Elaboração e análise de contratos.
• Pesquisa de dados, tendências, benchmarks, dentro e fora do grupo
• Participação ativa em equipas pluridisciplinares para criação de propostas de elevado valor acrescentado
• Identificação de soluções inovadoras ajustadas às necessidades do cliente
• Representação da empresa em eventos externos

What You Can Expect

As a Senior Originator, Power Marketing in Houston, you will lead power origination and strategic commercial efforts, particularly in Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and Pennsylvania-New Jersey Interconnection (PJM) markets. You will represent ENGIE at conferences, client events and presentations to create valuable transaction opportunities for the business. You will also generate new customers and negotiate contracts by working with key internal and external stake holders.  

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in which you completed courses in finance, economics, mathematics or similar discipline or equivalent through experience
• A minimum of 5 years of deal execution and origination experience in Eastern United States Power Markets
• Excellent commercial skills
• Proven ability to develop and expand valuable relationships with energy clients
• Experience closing complex transactions with large consumers of energy
• Strong knowledge of structured power products (options; Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs); load following) for the Eastern United States wholesale markets
• Talent for deal structuring and managing a deal process
• Experience in addressing new sources of load growth in Texas
• Strong history of deal closure with complex, structured deals

Compensation

Salary Range: $128,400 – $196,765 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
