We are looking for a Pre-Sales engineer for onsite solar PV business.
What You Can Expect
- Developing sourcing and cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials and equipment used in the solar PV business;
- Develop Pre-sales activities working closely with the Sales Department in order to implement the necessary purchasing measures to increase the results;
- Budgeting and developing solutions associated with the installation of decentralized solar systems;
- Own, manage, and execute all stages of RFQ activities including supplier identification & negotiation;
- Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factos;
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually looking for alternatives;
- Work with the Head of Procurement in order to develop the company terms and conditions for purchasing, and assist in the development of the procurement policies and procedures;
- Manage supplier identification and onboarding process including risk management, supplier setup, and contract management;
- Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities;
- Ensure compliance with delivery times and prices stipulated in the contractual phase;
- Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries;
- Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement.
Who We're Looking For
- Pre-sales experience in developing and budgeting technical solutions;
- Engineering license degree.
- Strong experience in procurement of small and large volumes;
- Commercial and financial awareness as managing budgets and keeping costs down is a key part of the role;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- English proficiency (other languages are a plus);
