Contracts Advisor

What You Can Expect

The Contracts Advisor in this role will ensure that ENGIE North America projects are properly contracted in compliance with appropriate business and sector procurement and ethics policies for a specific project or work area within a larger project.  The Contracts Advisor administers the process of tendering, negotiating and formalizing Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) related contracts and service contracts.

 

As the Contracts Advisor you are the single point of contact for specific project contract strategy, planning and implementation to meet the project goals.  Every day in this role you will work with multiple agreements in support of development and project delivery. 

 

  • Develop a list of potential bidders, solicits contractor/supplier and issue Expression of Interest (EoI) letters based on the contracting plan and project requirements, and evaluate responses to the EoI letter to develop a final bidder list
  • Develop the Request for Proposal (RFP) packages relying on discussions and documentation from the Project Team members to provide a complete package meeting that includes the project schedule and incorporating stakeholder requirements
  • Administer the contract bidding process for contracts as bidder single point of contact using coordination meetings, site visits and issuing RFP addenda as required. Prepare bid tabulations incorporating Project Team member’s reviews to make final bidder recommendation
  • Notify the selected bidder and unsuccessful bidders providing bid feedback as appropriate. Support the negotiations with the selected bidder and release the other bidders
  • Administer and control the negotiations with the selected bidder using a documented process and good judgment to resolve Scope and Terms and Conditions differences
  • Prepare final contract, award letter and Notice to Proceed as appropriate
  • Review supplier/contract project invoicing for contract compliance
  • Review Change Order Requests and support the negotiations with the supplier/contractor using good judgment, the Project Team and relying on the contract terms. Negotiate schedule and cost impacts in an effort to preserve the contracting plan
  • Prepare final Change Orders for signature using the agreements, the results of the negotiations with the contractor and the Project Team
  • Prepare project close-out documentation using Provisional Acceptance and Final Acceptance contract documentation requirements

 

 

What You’ll Bring   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field where you have learned technical specifications and terms, contract terms, and scopes of work
  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in contract management for large industrial projects
  • Understanding of project execution and project related tax, finance, insurance, and legal issues
  • Ability to work independently and with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams in an environment with a high level of deliverables    
  • Ability to use business computer programs MSWORD, EXCEL, VISIO, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and COUPA, as well as scheduling software such as Microsoft Project Planner
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written communications

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As our Senior Accountant, you will oversee general ledger accounting and reporting for renewable entities in both their development and operational phases. Your responsibilities will include managing monthly and annual closing processes for assigned entities, preparing journal entries, conducting account reconciliations, performing variance analysis, and compiling management reports.   • Perform accounting and reporting tasks for the Renewables group, including preparing monthly operating reports and managing cash flow

  • Interface with external auditors, preparing financial schedules and fulfilling audit requests
  • Assist the Performance Control Analyst with annual budgeting and long-term forecasting, and tackle ad-hoc projects involving complex accounting concepts as needed

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

What You Can Expect

As our Contracts Analyst Senior, at Georgetown University, in Washington, DC, you will manage the execution of construction contracts working closely with the project team including the prime contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and equipment vendors to ensure that contract terms are understood, adhered to, and in compliance with procurement policies, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.

 

Everyday you will manage and administer contracts, specifically for construction and engineering, related to capital improvement projects for campus energy distribution systems. These systems encompass the infrastructure for the production and distribution of chilled water, heating hot water, and steam, along with the electricity and natural gas networks. You will report to the Director of Capital Projects.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You possess a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management Engineering, or related field
  • You have five 5 years of experience in a related field where you have provided field support during execution of capital projects which involves monitoring contract performance, reviewing project invoicing for contract compliance, tracking project milestones, and timely addressing any issues that arise
  • You have a background in construction contract development, contract management or project execution
  • You have an experience in construction projects, working at sites, managing subcontractors, contracts administration and change management
  • You have experience with contract development and/or contract administration, including an understanding of procurement procedures; along with project execution and project related tax, finance, insurance and legal issues
  • You can address Change Order requests by aligning with the Project Manager and all stakeholders, driving cost and schedule negotiations with the contractor, understanding the project’s scope, and utilizing the contractual terms to preserve the contracting plan
  • You will prepare final Change Order for signatures utilizing the proper Management of Change (MOC) procedures
  • You will provide support, strategy, and resolution to Project Managers on contractual claims and disputes, liaising and keeping informed all Project Stakeholders
  • You will maintain a structured and documented record of all capital project communications, notices, legal records, including lien waivers, bonds, claims
  • You will also support the procurement process of services and materials for successful completion of the capital project
  • You will develop relationships with project stakeholders, construction contractors, qualified equipment vendors, suppliers, and design/engineering firms
  • You will prepare project close-out documentation and final contract requirements at different milestones of a construction project including mechanical completion, substantial completion, and final completion
  • You will develop and maintain effective relationships with subsidiaries, to encourage knowledge sharing; while also establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with University staff
  • You will carry out other duties as assigned

As our Electrical & Instrument Technician II, in Golden, CO you will be responsible performing routine plant electrical/control maintenance functions including, but not limited to motors, MCCs, relays, breakers, electrical disconnects of rotating machinery, UPS/battery systems, and all electrical hand tools in-plant and/or satellite plant equipment. 

 

Every day your work will include the proper maintenance and operation of complex electrical systems, computers, controls systems, etc. and equipment that can directly affect the safety and operation of the plant. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Maintenance Manager.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a High School Degree or GED equivalent
  • You have 4+ years’ relevant experience and/or training; licenses, endorsements or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of that experience in electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instrumentation; (steam/ electrical generation plant preferred) or graduation from a two-year electrical or instrumentation and control program
  • You have experience working with a CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System)
  • You will perform emergency plant electrical/control troubleshooting on plant equipment
  • You will install, test, calibrate, tune, program, repair and troubleshoot pneumatic, electronic-powered equipment, low/medium voltage, analog and digital process control loop hardware
  • You will maintain all plant electrical/control equipment to the highest possible standard to maximize plant availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability
  • You will analyze electrical problems and take appropriate action to correct and advise supervisor when outside assistance from vendors, engineering contractors, and/or consultants is necessary
  • You will maintain records of readings, test results, and data on all assigned equipment
  • You will recommend equipment operating and/or maintenance changes, which will enhance unit operation and equipment availability
  • You will Utilize a CMMS to maintain records of readings, test results, and data on all assigned equipment, as well as carry out other duties as assigned

About the role

Based in South Petherton, close to Ilminster and half an hour from Taunton, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Management team and Plant Manager in ensuring the correct and efficient running of our Anaerobic Digestion plant outside of normal working hours. This is a night based role working 48 hours per week working a four on four off shift pattern as agreed with the Plant Manager - 6pm to 6am) including weekends. There will also be the requirement to provide holiday cover for your team when required. You will be based on our gas to grid plant known as Sustainable Energy Generation. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to the company's SCADA system (plant monitoring/control software) identifying and rectifying operational problems.
  • Liaise with the on-call Plant Operators and Plant Manager promptly to ensure any issues are corrected and that there is minimum disruption to the plant and that the plant runs safely and professionally.
  • Liaise with the on-call maintenance team to ensure any maintenance work is logged and carried out in a timely manner.
  • Undertake some minor mechanical maintenance repairs.
  • Weighbridge operations (full training will be given)
  • Log events on the company's database and ensure accurate recording for handover to day staff.
  • Prepare routine performance reports
  • Flexibility is required for covering annual leave and absences of colleagues

 

Key Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence due to rural plant location
  • Previous experience of working/operating a similar control room system
  • Ability and experience to operate a telehandler/tractor/forklift (although training will be provided)
  • Excellent IT skills with good numerical, analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance

Werkomgeving

Je werkt als BIM-Project Manager en je bent verantwoordelijk voor het implementeren en coördineren van BIM-processen binnen infrastructuur projecten, vanuit ons kantoor in Hasselt  (of Gent/ Brussel), binnen onze afdeling Transport Infrastructuur, de afdeling binnen Tractebel die voornamelijk projecten ontwerpt/studeert met betrekking tot wegen, tramverbindingen, luchthavens, tunnels en bruggen.

Naast het ontwerpen van wegen is het ontwerpen van rioleringssystemen een tweede belangrijk onderdeel, rekening houdend met de klimaatsverandering en een duurzaam gebruik van het (regen)water.

 

Taken

  • Toezicht houden op de kwaliteit en efficiëntie van het BIM-proces; toezicht op de productie, coördinatie en kwaliteitscontroles en je rapporteert hierover
  • Opstellen van BIM-werkprocedures;  je leidt het proces van het opstellen en organiseren van BIM-werkprocedures, inclusief het bijwerken en actualiseren van BIM-uitvoeringsplan.
  • Leiderschap in BIM-informatieprocedures; je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opbouwen en uitwisselen van BIM-informatieprocedures volgens de geldende standaarden.
  • Opstellen van BIM-planning; je schat het BIM-budget in en bereidt de BIM-planning voor in overeenstemming met de algemene projectplanning

Profiel

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma ingenieurswetenschappen of industriële wetenschappen

Jouw uitdaging als Projectleider Engineering

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Het voorbereiden, uitvoeren, opvolgen en afhandelen van projecten, zowel binnen een projectteam als autonoom (‘kleine’ wijzigingen <100k€);   
  • Het opstellen van wijzigingsdossiers in functie van de uit te voeren projecten en het begeleiden van deze dossiers doorheen de verschillende fasen van het wijzigingsproces;
  • Het verzorgen van de werkvoorbereiding inclusief het samenstellen van werkdossiers, plaatsen bestellingen, voorbereiden van meldingen en orders in SAP, werkleiding, …
  • Het opstellen van risicoanalyses en veiligheidsplannen;
  • Het opstellen en/of opvolgen van detailontwerpen, schema’s, technische specificaties van installaties en werken;
  • De overwaking van de technische kwaliteit van de project uitvoering. Dit bereik je onder andere door het opstellen van de noodzakelijke technische procedures en werkwijzen (functional acceptance test, site acceptance test, as-built controle,…) en door deel te nemen aan project- en design reviews;
  • De coördinatie en de opvolging van de werf;
  • Het maken van afspraken met andere departementen en stakeholders met betrekking tot verwachtingen, scope en behoeften.

De ideale match

  • Je beschikt over een technisch diploma professionele bachelor of over gelijkwaardige professionele ervaring;
  • Je bezit een grondige kennis in 1 van volgende domeinen: elektriciteit, I&C, mechanica en/of burgerlijke bouwkunde;
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar professionele ervaring;
  • Je hebt ervaring met werkvoorbereiding of bent bereid hiervoor een opleidingstraject te volgen;
  • Je werkt georganiseerd en resultaatgericht;

Misión: 

Garantizar el cumplimiento de todas las obligaciones tributarias del grupo en España y dar asesoramiento y soporte fiscal al resto de Áreas y negocios. En especial, prestar asesoramiento en materia de precios de transferencia y velar para el debido cumplimiento de la normativa sobre la materia en todas las operaciones realizadas en el Grupo. Interlocución con las Autoridades Fiscales y coordinación de la estrategia procesal en los litigios en materia fiscal. Soporte fiscal en procesos de M&A.

 

Funciones:

  • Supervisar el cumplimiento de todas las obligaciones tributarias de las sociedades del perímetro Engie. En particular, revisar las declaraciones de impuestos tanto a nivel estatal (Impuesto sobre el Valor Añadido, retenciones IRPF, Impuesto sobre Sociedades, Impuesto sobre el Valor de la Producción de Energía Eléctrica, Impuestos Especiales, etc.) así como a nivel autonómico (impuestos sobre vertidos, emisiones, cánones eólicos, etc.) como a nivel local (tasa por ocupación del dominio público, Impuesto sobre Bienes Inmuebles, Impuesto sobre Actividades Económicas, Impuesto sobre Construcciones, Instalaciones y Obras, etc.).
  • Evaluar y analizar eventuales riesgos fiscales de la sociedad y proponer soluciones para su eliminación o mitigación.
  • Actuar de interlocutor de la empresa en su relación con la Administración tributaria a cualquier nivel.
  • Gestión de las inspecciones fiscales que se realicen en cualquiera de las sociedades del perímetro Engie.
  • Preparación de cualquier comunicación que se envíe a la Administración Tributaria (en cualquier nivel: estatal, autonómico y local)
  • Soporte fiscal en procesos de M&A.
  • Analizar posibles oportunidades de ahorro fiscal.
  • Gestión de recursos y reclamaciones en materia fiscal.
  • Informar a la organización de eventuales novedades fiscales.
  • Asesoramiento fiscal a todas las Áreas y Negocios de la empresa.
  • Reporting al grupo de cualquier información de carácter fiscal.

 

Requerimientos:

 

  • Máster universitario. Imprescindible sólida formación en Derecho Tributario.
  • Experiencia total en funciones de fiscales de 6-8 años
  • Experiencia dentro de Área Fiscal de gran empresa.
  • Recomendable experiencia (3-5 años) en el Departamento fiscal de Big-Four (o similar).
  • Valorable experiencia herramientas de gestión de impuestos, y SAP 
  • Valorable experiencia en empresa del Sector Energético
  • Inglés alto
