Qualifications

  • You are a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer;
  • You have relevant experience in working for Data Center design;
  • You have relevant technical experience( 10+ years);
  • You have excellent expertise in Revit/ Tekla/ Allplan.
  • You have expertise in using calculation softwares ( Etabs/ SCIA/ROBOT)
  • You have good communication skills;
  • You are a team player;
  • You are client-oriented and flexible;
  • Project coordination skills are seen as an advantage;
  • A good knowledge of English is a must, and knowledge of French is an advantage;

The Role:

We’re seeking an experience Owners Site Representative to be based on-site at the Goorambat East Solar Farm to support the Project Manager in the delivery of the project by representing ENGIE’s interests on the site and monitoring the construction of all EPC and connection works.

 

The incumbent will be accountable to the Project Manager and will ideally be based at the project site near Benalla, 2 hours from Melbourne.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and monitoring all construction activities for compliance with contractual conditions and relevant regulations and providing status updates to the Project Manager as required
  • Coordination of onsite activities between EPC contractor and connection works contractor to ensure that each contractor’s activities are planned in a way that minimises the impact on the other contractors
  • Overseeing and monitoring the EPC contractor’s implementation of all health, safety and environmental management obligations and systems on the site
  • Assist the Owner’s Engineering in reviewing and monitoring the quality of works delivered by the contractors, ensuring quality requirements are satisfied and any defects/non-conformances are properly captured with corrective actions properly tracked until resolution
  • Responsible for ensuring ENGIE / project owner is fully compliant with all contractual obligations
  • Manage and report progress against the project schedule
  • Represent ENGIE, establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all external stakeholders including the local community, landowners, regulatory bodies
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate.  Proactively develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these
  • Review and endorse final punch lists for each work package. 

 

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience with onsite construction management of renewable energy infrastructure projects, particularly solar.  You have gained sound project and contract management experience for construction projects and able to work under pressure to meet scheduled and demanding timelines.

You can ensure accountability, communicate effectively and balance stakeholders.

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in management of project schedule as required including coordinating and integrating project schedule updates on a monthly basis
  • Cost control and reporting of expenditure throughout the project, including forecasting and analysis on cost variances
  • Administering and monitoring EPC payment claims and variations as directed by the Project Manager and PMO Lead
  • Manage and coordinate all project reporting
  • Monitoring quality targets, standards, assurance and control procedures relating to document and record control (electronic and hardcopy)
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project financial/budget matters
  • Assisting the Project Manager in administering and monitoring of the project master risk management plan and register, and escalating project risks (time and/or cost) to the Project Manager, as required
  • Contract administration, including the drafting of contractual letters, such as instructions and response to variation proposals

To be successful in this role, you will have sound project and contract management experience, particularly with project controls including the management of budgets, schedules and claims.  You will have knowledge in power generation technologies and experienced in the delivery of renewable energy projects through construction to operations.

What You Can Expect

As a Project Director, you will lead the development of Green Hydrogen projects in the North America from feasibility to start of construction. Every day you will be responsible for management of assigned projects, leadership and oversight of all disciplines (engineering disciplines, Health Safety Environmental (HSE), permitting and regulatory compliance, procurement, construction management, contracting, project control), management of contractors (front end engineering design (FEED), permitting, surveys), oversight of Engineering Procurement Construction scope, strategy and contracts development, selection of Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contractors, early procurement/contracting, management of internal interfaces within Development team and other Business Units, management of external interfaces with development partners, driving the project through development stages towards final investment decision (FID) and ensuring its overall viability.

 

  • Drive Green Hydrogen projects from initiation up to Final Investment Decision and handover to the Execution team
  • Provide leadership and ensure top performance in all areas of the project (engineering, Health Safety Environmental (HSE), permitting, regulatory compliance, procurement, construction management, project control, contracting)
  • Develop and manage all aspects of the project (scope, execution plan, resourcing, budget, schedule, risks, quality, interfaces)
  • Use your knowledge of Green Hydrogen (or related industries) to steer development of the project, keep the team focused and executives well informed
  • Use your extensive Project Management and Engineering experience to establish effective management process, systems and tools; Develop and own the Project Management Plan with all its elements
  • Engage internal and external teams and partners, align early and continuously, and manage  proactively any interfaces and risks (alignment sessions, project reviews, Value Improvement Practices, lessons learnt)
  • Proactively define the need, identify & mobilize resources, and manage progress on the technical deliverables for the various phases of the project
  • Work with Development/Finance team to accurately provide technical, production and costing inputs into project financial models
  • Lead the definition of the project’s procurement and contracting strategy, and management of the project’s procurement activities (tender documents, tendering, negotiation, contracting and invoicing)
  • Lead the definition of contracting and execution strategy, TIC estimates and master scheduling, negotiation of Engineering Procurement Construction (M) and engineering/consulting contracts; support negotiations of the Supply, Offtake or other type of contracts
  • Prepare and coordinate the technical hand-over to the Project Delivery team at project final investment decision  
  • Structure and budget the operation and maintenance of the project, inclusive of staffing and mobilization plan, interfaces with Operations & Maintenance vendor, Operations & Maintenance  agreements, KPIs, pricing structure and carry out other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in engineering, execution and Project Management developing large greenfield process plants (Hydrogen, Ammonia, Methanol, Refining)
  • Experience throughout project lifecycle – from Front End Loading to Engineering Procurement Construction
  • Significant experience in cost/schedule control, budgeting, procurement
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Primavera P6, Procore
  • Professional Engineer license and PMP certification
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including ability to present to large audiences and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing activities and be flexible, adjusting to changing conditions, develop and present alternative courses of action

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $224,135 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As our Product Owner, you will be responsible for bridging the vision and roadmap of the Product Management Director with the actions and outputs of the Design and Delivery teams. This role requires a balance of business acumen and technical knowledge of our systems. You will play an integral part in shaping solution designs and plans and act as the approver for system changes. Additionally, you will own the product backlog, creating, clarifying, and prioritizing it based on various requests.   • Maintain a deep understanding of product use cases and features, and act as the primary point of collaboration between the Product Team and Design and Delivery teams
  • Participate in the development of Product Roadmaps and intake modification requests from all stakeholders, ensuring completeness, clarity, and visibility of product backlogs
  • Prioritize product backlogs based on a thorough understanding of business impact and navigate competing priorities
  • Work with Product, Design, and Delivery teams to define product releases, participate in sprint planning, and guide the delivery team
  • Accept or reject product changes based on adherence to standards and quality metrics, and approve deployments based on solution readiness
  • Participate in UAT to ensure changes meet stakeholder needs and optimize delivery team efforts to maximize business value

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Technical Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Business, IT solution delivery, Agile concepts and practices or related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Retail Energy Industry, IT Product Management or related field

As the Technical Architect with a focus on Data Systems in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) you will be instrumental in shaping the technological landscape, ensuring that our data infrastructure aligns with and supports our broader technical objectives. The ideal person will connect business objectives with ideas on how to use data centric technology solutions to achieve and unlock value for the organization. Everyday, you will report to the Solutions Strategy Director to collaborate and define a vision for the data-related systems and processes that support each of our digital products (internal applications), leading the design of the future-state solution, and support the development and integration of those solutions into our business. Furthermore, you will be responsible for defining and refining ENGIE’s Enterprise Data Model, helping establish common nomenclature across functional teams and within our data and reporting platforms.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of technical architecture and systems implementation experience
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Microsoft Azure, cloud-based systems, and data technologies experience

  • High motivation and proactive professional approach, with strong interpersonal skills to deal with various stakeholders at different levels in company;
  • Continuous improvement mindset and very good analytical and organizational skills, to handle projects and work under strict deadlines;
