Within the Network & Cybersecurity Services (NCS) division of GBS IT, the Network And Connectivity (NAC) department is composed of the SDM Team, the Expertise Team and the Network Operating Center (NOC) team.

The NOC serves as the operational hub for our Network and Security infrastructures. Our mission is to ensure performance and security across all network and security infrastructures, whether they are in data centers, the cloud, or remote sites (examples: ‘Highway to Cloud’ interconnection infrastructures in AWS/Azure, Cloud Proxy and VPN services with ‘Zscaler,’ Software-Defined WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi services, etc.).

The NOC, consisting of over 40 professionals, is structured into two distinct yet complementary teams:

  • NOC Back Office: This team of technical experts focuses on the day-to-day operation of services.
  • NOC Front Office: This team provides crucial support to the Back Office, focusing on industrialization, process management, and operational oversight of infrastructure and managed services.

 

What you will do:

          Incident and Problem Management:

  • You will resolve P2 (High), P3 (Medium), and P4 (Low) incidents efficiently to minimize business impact.
  • You will mobilize resources and coordinate effectively with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure timely resolution.

 

          Change Management:

  • You will execute standard and normal (low and moderate) changes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • You will define and prepare a Detailed Intervention Plan (DIP), ensuring strict adherence to change management protocols and production processes.
  • You will implement changes during Business Hours (BH) and Non-Business Hours (NBH) as required.
  • You will continuously update and maintain technical documentation, including Operational Documents, to reflect accurate and current configurations.

 

          Build and Go to run:

  • You will execute production-related tasks including inventory updates, monitoring setup, backups, and regular maintenance.
  • You will automate deployment processes, develop reusable technical frameworks, manage configurations, and integrate them into operational tools to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.

 

 

          Documentation and Training:

  • You will maintain and update assets in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate tracking and lifecycle management.
  • You will update operational procedures, ensuring they reflect current best practices and meet organizational standards.

 

 

Desired education, expertise, and skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience;
  • At least 2 years of technical experience in network and security operations in a complex infrastructure context;
  • General knowledge of networks and security infrastructures;
  • Previous working experience with the following:
    • Cisco LAN/Wi-Fi technologies;
    • DNS/DHCP technologies;
    • Firewall security (Palo Alto, Fortinet);
    • F5;
    • Cisco SD-WAN technologies;
    • Zscaler technologies;
    • AWS/Azure Cloud native network/security services;
    • WAN : BGP, OSPF, VPC routing with the internet;
    • Network tools : Monitoring and log collection (Spectrum, Splunk, Netscout);
    • Automation (Ansible, AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda);
    • ServiceNow;
  • ITIL certifications;
  • Proficiency (spoken and written) both in English and French;
  • Proactive and engaged attitude;

  • Ejecutar actividades de mantenimiento eléctrico, electrónico, mecánico o limpieza de plantas generadoras renovables y BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) con el fin de lograr el cumplimiento de las tareas asignadas de acuerdo con procedimientos, manteniendo los estándares de seguridad y salud, calidad y medio ambiente
  • Realizar maniobras de conexión y desconexión de equipos, sala de celdas o patio de alta tensión, con el fin de lograr el mantenimiento según los procedimientos establecidos y medidas de seguridad contribuyendo a la continuidad operacional y de seguridad de las instalaciones

What You Can Expect

As a Forecasting Solutions Analyst I, you will be responsible for mitigating ENGIE’s risks related to retail electric customer load while uncovering key insights from market and customer data. In this role, you will support pre-deal activities, including load data acquisition, quality assurance, analysis, forecasting, and providing subject matter expertise to the C&I Pricing and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will be skilled in interpreting and manipulating load data, quantifying and explaining its relationships with customers, premises, weather, and market dynamics. Preference will be given to solutions-oriented candidates with a strong understanding of deregulated electric market load data fundamentals, who can identify, develop, and implement enhancements to pre-deal load forecasting processes and platforms. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Supply Manager.

 

  • Manage pre-deal load data processing for assigned markets, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and standards
  • Enhance customer experience by optimizing forecast accuracy through process and platform improvements
  • Develop expertise in market dynamics, internal and external platforms, and the broader impact of forecasting on stakeholders and company performance

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree, or in lieu of a degree, we will accept three (3) years of hands-on experience where you have developed strong problem-solving, analytical, and programming skills, along with the ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets
  • This is an entry-level position, and prior experience is not required. You will be expected to deliver high-quality work while collaborating with internal stakeholders, including sales, pricing, and IT teams
  • You are an effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills, capable of working independently in a flexible environment without close supervision
  • You have strong problem-solving, analytical, and statistical skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments accurately and respond promptly to dynamic stakeholder requirements
  • You have a solid understanding of energy market fundamentals, including load properties (usage, demand, load factor, voltage, losses, and read cycles) and deregulated market design
  • You have experience handling and analyzing large quantities of electric usage data, identifying anomalies, and performing data manipulation for forecasting, pricing, and contracting
  • You are familiar with MS Excel (intermediate or better), Power BI or Tableau for data visualization, and Oracle or Microsoft SQL for data extraction and management
  • You are proficient in scripting languages and statistical packages such as Python, SAS, or R

 

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of three (3) days in office and two (2) days working remotely

Compensation

Salary Range: $55,300 – $77,385 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Renewable Gases Europe is ENGIE’s business entity responsible for the development of renewable and low-carbon gasses production in Europe.  Since 2015, ENGIE has been developing biomethane production activity.  We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to ensure that our UK projects are managed, executed and delivered in accordance with ENGIE’s requirements, in particular with regard to Time, Quality and Cost from conception to completion.

 

About the Role

From the point a development is identified as a project and the budget has been agreed, the Project Manager is expected to look after all aspects of the project from conceptual design, by engaging external consultants and managing the process through the tendering process to contract award. The project manager will then be responsible for delivering the project through construction to completion and operation of the site.

 

The Project Manager will provide guidance and leadership to the team, through all aspects of the project and be the point of contact both internally and externally.

 

Key deliverables will include regular reporting of the project status including, budget, timeline, contractual issues, engagement of external consultants, interaction with governing bodies and monitoring the health and safety.

 

The Project Manager may be expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that that reviews are carried out, including financial, risk and contract reviews as required and escalate when needed to the Senior Management Team.

             

Knowledge and skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, being able to comprise to achieve win-win agreements.

  • Sound understanding of engineering and construction processes, preferably construction site experience.

 

This role will involve UK wide travel with occasional European travel.

What you will do:

          Incident Management:

  • You will gather needed information from other services (Service Desk and Global Coordination Center), check the priority level (impact and urgency), check the impacted service/customer, and work with the monitoring team to improve the quality of the data in incident tickets. You will assign the ticket to the right L1/L2/L2 level.
  • You will link multiple incidents together when a common root cause can be identified.
  • You will perform the first technical analysis of devices’ status and launch first actions regarding on-site checks with local contacts when necessary (device unreachable).
  • You will create incidents in providers’ portal when necessary (mainly regarding telco providers’ link).
  • You will permanently check the monitoring tools to ensure that every critical alarm is linked to an active incident ticket.
  • You will create new incident tickets when necessary (detection with monitoring tools or customer’s direct request).
  • You will escalate/assign tickets towards Level 2 or Level 3 of the NOC when necessary.
  • You will work with the network tooling team to improve monitoring quality.

 

          Change Management:
