What You Can Expect
Our Vice President of Operations leads the ENGIE North American Renewables & Storage, Operations and Maintenance organization. This leadership role is essential in maintaining ENGIE North America's commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within its  on-shore renewable energy fleet and Battery storage assets. The focus will be on driving safety  optimizing fleet performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and financial success. 

Daily, as an active participant in the North American Renewables Leadership Team, you will be working to move the needle and provide your leadership and experience on the field and office to help us continue to grow an innovative safety first culture that has a data driven approach to operational efficiency, financial performance and compliance.
Safety Leadership:

  • Champion a safety-first culture across all operations, aligning with ENGIE North America's (ENGIE NA) Health & Safety principles, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Empower employees with Stop Work Authority to address safety concerns, ensuring a proactive safety mindset at all levels.
  • Lead and maintain a robust safety program for ENGIE NA's construction teams.
  • Set and enforce safety, quality, and operational standards for the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams, in line with ENGIE’s global O&M framework
  • Optimize performance and resolve operational issues within ENGIE NA’s renewable energy fleet, driving continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the global O&M community to share best practices and lessons learned.
  • Ensure all operations comply with ENGIE policies, regulations (FERC/NERC), power purchase agreements, and financing partner requirements.
  • Develop and oversee annual budgets and performance targets for ENGIE NA’s O&M organization, ensuring financial and operational objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Power Marketing, and Project Delivery teams to apply lessons learned and define operational budgets during the development phase.
  • Partner with the Asset Management team to enhance communication, improve asset financial performance, and meet financing partner expectations.
  • Foster a high-performance organization focused on continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and overall performance.
  • Utilize data analytics to optimize fleet performance and maximize safety and profitability.
  • Implement best-in-class processes and controls through the Project Management Office to ensure the excellence of ENGIE’s operating portfolio.
  • Establish and oversee a Remote Operations Center to monitor and manage the renewable and flexible generation fleet effectively.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant educational program  
  • You will have a minimum of Ten (10) years’ or progressive  experience with demonstrated leadership and management of staff focused on Renewable Energy Operations and Maintenance
  • You will have gained expertise in Operations, Maintenance, Dispatch and Optimization of Wind and Solar Assets
  • You have gained In-depth knowledge of wind and solar power generating facilities, and battery energy storage (BESS) equipment and technologies 
  • You are proficient with personal computer applications, in particular, operational and financial modeling and budgeting
  • You possess problem solving, organization and prioritizing skills
  • You have presentation and negotiation skills

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel up to 50% of the time with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $227,000.00 – $347,990.00 USD annually 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect
The HR Data Analyst I provides essential support for HR projects, programs, and data/reporting needs by leveraging current systems and applications.   • Conduct routine data audits to ensure data quality within ENGIE's HCM systems and identify areas for process improvement.

As the Project Coordinator, officed at our University of Iowa location, you will assist Program Managers in coordinating the major activities required in project management: engineering design, procurement, construction, financial administration, commissioning and initial operations for central utility plant and distribution projects. What You Can Expect

​​Our Contracts Analyst II, located at The Ohio State University Campus, will collaborate closely with our Capital Projects team on campus and provide active support to team members located at Georgetown University, University of Iowa, and our Corporate Office in Houston, TX. This dynamic role entails supporting the negotiation, development, and administration of capital project contracts associated with campus energy systems' capital improvement projects. Additionally, there may be involvement in contract activities for business development concerning new partnerships with universities, commercial, and industrial entities. 

Every day is different; however one aspect of this role is constant. The significance of building and maintaining strong relationships. You'll engage with various groups and divisions within ENGIE, vendors, subcontractors, and the University on a daily basis, recognizing that robust partnerships are essential for our success on campus. 

Your daily responsibilities will involve assisting project managers and contract advisors in the contracting and procurement process for all capital improvement projects on Campus. This includes supporting the development and tracking of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, ensuring alignment with project schedules and stakeholder requirements. You'll take the lead in the contract bidding process for low-risk contracts, acting as the single point of contact for bidders, organizing site visits, and issuing RFP addenda as needed. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements in our contracts will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in negotiating with selected bidders, employing a documented process and sound judgment to resolve scope, terms, and other discrepancies. 

​You'll also contribute to the procurement process by creating vendor-related agreements for services and materials, and participate in the development and tracking of legal documents such as contractual submittals, notices, and change orders as necessary. Furthermore, you'll review supplier/contract project invoicing for compliance with contracts, support project close-out documentation requirements using provisional acceptance and final acceptance contract documentation, and track, evaluate, and qualify new and existing contractor relationships. Providing support on contractual claims and disputes will also be part of your responsibilities.​

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor of Science in Applied Business, or Bachelor of Business Administration, Supply Chain or other similar degree 

  • ​Two (2) or more years of experience in a related field where you have developed a background in contract development / contract administration or project related execution 
  • ​You will have gained experience in energy systems development or construction with public, industrial, or commercial customers  
  • ​You are experienced in planning  and working independently as well as being a collaborative team player 
  • ​You are able to handle multiple tasks concurrently at a fast pace and with accuracy

What You Can Expect
As the on-site Wind Technician II, located in Seymour, TX, you will operate and maintain the site by optimizing wind generation availability and performance through established procedures with the highest regard for health, safety and environment compliance. Adaptability is crucial as tasks may vary depending on operational needs and requirements. Your primary responsibilities involve troubleshooting, repairing, reconnecting, and inspecting electrical equipment, including substations and overall site performance. At this site you will be working with high voltage energized equipment and must follow all safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) grounding and other safety precautions. Collaborating with service providers and contractors, you will oversee daily work activities, produce various reports, operate site equipment, and coordinate with local utilities and Independent System Operators (ISOs) for switching and curtailments.

Ensuring compliance with ENGIE and regulatory agency standards, you'll conduct inspections and recurring checks on site equipment. You'll actively participate in behavior-based safety programs, enforce safety procedures, and conduct orientations and meetings to promote a safe working environment. Alongside routine inspections and serving as the main contact for landowners, you'll manage spare parts inventory, coordinate contractor work, and maintain cleanliness on-site. Gaining and maintaining GWO training is required, as well as participating in turbine climbing activities. You'll provide recommendations for operational and maintenance improvements, offer equipment operation training, and utilize Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques to address failures. You will work on computerized work order systems for purchase requisitions and receiving statuses.  From time to time you will be required to support other wind assets during planned outages and emergencies, potentially requiring overnight stays. Furthermore, you'll be part of an on-call rotation and must reside within 50 miles of the site to respond promptly to outages and emergencies.


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience and knowledge of Wind generation, Power Plant, or Substation Maintenance where you have working knowledge of industrial electrical or substation equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification as substation technician within twelve (12) months of hire date


Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring regular travel to client site(s) 
  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite 
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages

The Director reports to our Vice President of Partnerships located in Iowa City, and will interface with leaders of other internal departments, including Project Development, Procurement, Operations, Legal, and Project Finance, to drive forth yearly operational delivery goals. The candidate for this position should have a background in both managing utility construction projects and in managing teams of individuals.

 

  • No two days are the same here, daily you will be working with your teams of Program and Project Managers, to ensure that projects are completed safely and economically, and on time, while interfacing with stakeholders to limit projects impact on campus operations.  Directly accountable for meeting delivery metrics on an annual basis. You will work daily to foster an environment of growth and mentorship within the team, focusing on continual training, process improvement, procedural compliance, and review of lessons learned. You will grow and maintain cooperative and collaborative interaction with various university departments and managers focusing on the long-term success of the Concession Agreement.  You will review and evaluate the project pipeline within the 5 year plan to ensure high quality projects are selected and properly developed for the delivery team. You’ll Collaborate frequently with legal to review and develop contracts for our engineering and installation partners that ensure risks are analyzed and appropriately addressed prior to mobilization.
  • You will collaborate with procurement professionals ensuring a streamlined approach to engineering, labor, and material supply agreements forecasted against portfolio needs, including bid evaluations, for labor and supplies and negotiation of contracts, and Master Services Agreements.
  • You will support project finance activities including responding to questions from our investor’s on behalf of ENGIE.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum education of a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is required
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in construction management of large, complex projects, including training and/or certifications
  • A Minimum of five (5) years of direct project management experience, in the construction of utility projects or projects of similar complexity

What You Can Expect

As the Senior Technician you will be supporting projects and clients throughout the Northeastern United States.  In this region we are split between ground mount units and commercial rooftop units. We do not do residential work. Knowledge of IT and SCADA would be beneficial. You will have gained strong customer service acumen, discussing scheduling of preventative maintenance, problems found and recommending options or requirements to repair or maintain the customers equipment. Working remotely in the Northeast region, the Senior Photovoltaic (PV) Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of a large number of solar projects. 

Every day you’ll prioritize safety in everything that you do. You will be traveling to client sites, driving your Company provided truck. Servicing both ground arrays (up to 5 MW) owned by municipalities or corporations and smaller rooftop systems at some of your most recognizable retailers. Typical tasks are cleaning and testing panels, troubleshooting inverters, servicing, or updating networking / SCADA hardware/ software.

  • Review annual preventative maintenance service reports to identify issues that require corrective action 
  • Provide feedback to the Regional Service Manager and plan the corrective action for scope of work
  • Maintain detailed expense records for all service calls including parts costs, tools, mileage, and timekeeping 

 

What You'll Bring 

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience root cause analysis and repair of arrays and inverters; you will have learned to abide by and understand the safety requirements of the NEC electrical code, NFPA70 and OSHA 30
  • Troubleshooting experience with PV systems and/or electrical systems
  • Ability applying technical requirements to commissioning, troubleshooting of solar electrical generation systems, and monitoring communication equipment
