Cash Application Analyst II

The Cash Application Analyst II facilitates cash postings, analysis, and remediation of cash applications for all cash receipts, ensuring accurate and timely application to customers’ account. In this role the Cash Applications Analyst acts as a liaison to the Collections team and reconciles daily cash postings and research discrepancies to ensure proper resolution.

This is a CONTRACT POSITION.

What you’ll do:

  • Timely and accurately cash matching in ENGIE’s ERP system
  • Reconcile daily cash match posting to bank account and analyze and research all
  • unapplied cash receipts
  • Function as the liaison with the Collections team for the proper application of cash
  • receipts
  • Analyze cash receipts, ensuring the correct cash amounts remitted, are applied and allocated accurately to customer accounts
  • Research all discrepancies between the cash receipt submission and customers’ outstanding balance to ensure timely resolution
  • Track and report on all in transit cash receipts
  • Provide daily status update to Manager
  • Make recommendations to Manager on process improvements that streamline the cash application activity
  • Participate in major department projects and take an active role in cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives
  • Acts as a team member with all ENGIE staff
  • Comply with all ENGIE policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Accounting or Business
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Billing or operations experience in multiple markets preferred
  • Mathematically inclined
  • Strong analytical ability with attention to detail, and goal oriented
  • Detail oriented with the ability to follow up, prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy

What You Can Expect

As our Project Management Director, you will need to be located in the Upper Midwest US with close proximity to a major airport. You will be responsible for the oversight of operational performance and delivery of energy projects located in the Detroit Metro area and upper Midwest region.   Projects are executed through a design-build-transfer or ENGIE asset-owned model. Every day, you will report to the Regional Operations Director of Distributed Energy Solutions focusing on the industrialization of activities inclusive of operational monitoring, refinement of key performance indicators (KPIs), and process improvement to operational activities to achieve given targets. The Director will have connection and involvement within all aspects of the engineering design and operational delivery process, as well as provide performance oversight on activities inclusive of forecasting, cash management, commercial development, and the expansion of the business into new geographies and/or market segments. Collaborating with the Sales team, you will evaluate and qualify opportunities and participate in customer presentations and interviews during the development phase, including Board and Council meetings as needed. As the primary customer contact during the development and implementation phases, you will ensure complete customer satisfaction with ENGIE’s services.

 

You will manage all technical aspects of project development, including scope development, savings analysis, and constructability of measures. Assigning tasks and responsibilities within the project team, you will document project progress. You will also create, edit, and review external deliverables, such as customer reports and contract documents, as well as internal documents like risk review packages and deal review documents.

 

Partnering with Legal and Finance, you will qualify vendors/subcontractors and negotiate all customer/vendor contracts and change orders. Coordinating with ENGIE’s construction manager and vendors/subcontractors, you will establish and monitor project schedules, making necessary adjustments and communicating changes with all stakeholders. You will manage installation budgets, approve revenue and expense invoices monthly, protect project cash flow by ensuring timely customer payments, and complete monthly forecasts. Ensuring all projects are properly set up and documented in Procore throughout the implementation and at project closeout will also be part of your responsibilities. You will coordinate with post-construction teams for savings guarantees and maintenance activities, ensuring a smooth transition at the end of construction.

 

You will primarily be working with public sector customers on infrastructure, renewable, and energy conservation projects. The bulk of your work will be with municipalities, K-12, and some higher education. Your ability to consistently deliver expected results will be a testament to your effectiveness as a leader in this role; setting metrics and objectives for your direct reports that align with company strategy and financial goals are essential.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance or related field; or a combination of related experience in the clean-tech industry inclusive of time pursing related education
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Project Management or similar experience
  • A strong understanding of energy analysis as well as engineering design in energy-related disciplines
  • Proficient in analyzing ECM costs and savings, and a thorough understanding of all ECM technologies being proposed
  • Experience in the low-carbon clean-tech industry, with preference for individuals whose roles have interfaced with solutions including but not limited to solar photovoltaic, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and energy efficiency activities
  • Extensive and proven knowledge of and experience in data construction management tools
  • Proven experience setting metrics and objectives for direct reports consistent with Regional and Company strategies and team financial objectives

Compensation

As our Metering Technician, at Georgetown University, you will be responsible for the implementation and overall maintenance of the campus and central plant instrumentation metering instrumentation.

As our Shift Supervisor, at ENGIE’s Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP) located in Boston, MA you will be responsible for directing and supervising the operations department and other plant personnel to ensure the facility is operated and maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient manner in accordance with all company policies and environmental standards.  The Shift Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will possess a high school diploma / GED or equivalent
  • You maintain a Valid CFC-2 and CFC-3 license; or, a CFC-universal license
  • You have a Valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s License
  • You must be able to work internally in the physical plant and externally on the facility’s grounds or at satellite facilities
  • This role requires you to work a rotating shift this includes weekends and holidays as required
  • You may be required to work overtime (relief, off-shift, and emergency coverage) as needed
  • You have experience directing shift operators on the starting, control, operation, shutdown and inspection of high pressure boilers, combustion turbine generators, steam turbine generators, chillers, electrical distribution equipment, steam distribution equipment and all required plant auxiliary equipment
  • You perform regular inspection tours of the plant and distribution system including underground tunnels and electrical power systems; and prepares logs and other operating records including data collection via the plant computer
  • You will be training shift personnel in safety procedures and equipment use, plant operating procedures and environmental standards. 
  • You will support the implementation of corporate and plant training programs and monitor the progress of your reports towards completion of the program training

ENGIE North America is hiring a Battery Storage Technician for our Five Wells Solar project located in Rogers, TX.  

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with performing High Voltage (HV) switching, substation, and HV equipment lockouts and grounding tasks. Demonstrate the consistent use of Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques when solving plant abnormalities and equipment failures. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs. Perform routine inspections such as, prepare oil analysis samples, safely using tools (e.g hot sticks, multimeter, and IR Camera). Assist with equipment operation training for contractors and other site employees. Manage and coordinate work on-site between different contractors, vendors and BESS service providers ensuring quality work, is completed safely and promptly.

 

  • Actively participate in the behavior-based safety program and ensure every team member and contractor complies with all safety procedures and applicable task-oriented job safety analyses
  • Ensure site safety rules are communicated and adhered to through Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Meetings
  • Demonstrate procedural compliance in all site operation and maintenance activities by utilizing established procedures
  • Ensure site equipment is kept at the highest possible standard maximizing availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability
  • Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures
  • Perform the housekeeping functions and equipment cleaning necessary to maintain the site in a clean and neat condition
  • Recommend operating and/or maintenance changes that will enhance plant performance and availability

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned electrical or instrumentation controls, electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in any or BESS sites, Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Thermal power plants, Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Instrumentation Maintenance
  • Proficient in using and maintaining SCADA systems
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor
