What You Can Expect

The Senior Power Trader  is responsible for risk management and trade within the Northeast power markets for ENGIE Energy Marketing, North America  (EEMNA). The position is responsible for managing loads and resources and identifying and executing trading opportunities in the term markets. In this role, you will support physical assets, loads, and other transaction types and have the flexibility and willingness to cover all markets within provided jurisdictions to be successful in the role. This position sits in Houston, TX reporting to Senior Trader

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelors or  Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Systems) Business Administration or we will accept nine (9) years of work experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Power trading experience in which you have gained an understanding of business, energy markets, risk management, and trading strategies
  • You are a disciplined risk taker with a strategic approach to trading.
  • You have strong analytical skills, enabling you to make data-driven decisions
  • You are knowledgeable in Northeast gas and power markets, with a deep understanding of market dynamics
  • You have a strong working knowledge of the fundamentals of the Northeast transmission grid
  • You are a clear and effective communicator, willing to engage in dialogue and debate with colleagues
  • You are proficient in Excel, VBA, and Python, leveraging these tools for analysis and decision-making

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy working three (3) days in-office and two (2) days remote

Compensation

Salary Range: $131,000 – $190,000 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

As our High Voltage Shop Intern, at The Ohio State University, you will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the campus’s high voltage distribution and maintenance as well as electrical reliability of campus chill water and steam plants. Reporting to the OT Cybersecurity Manager of ENA, your duties will include:

 

  • Develop and maintain Identify and Access Management (IAM) policies and procedures to ensure secure access to systems and data
  • Implement and manage Privileged Access management (PAM) solutions to control and monitor privileged access to critical systems
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts to mitigate risks
  • Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and recovery from security incidents
  • Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery plans to ensure the resilience and continuity of OT systems in the event of disruptions
  • Lead and coordinate crisis management efforts, including incident response, communication, and recovery, to minimize the impact of cybersecurity incidents on OT operations
  • Performing cybersecurity assessments for evaluating the current posture of sites against relevant frameworks, building remediation action plans and following-up on them
  • Ensure proper access controls are in place and regularly reviewed to protect sensitive information
  • Secure Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and networks to prevent disruptions to industrial control systems
  • Utilize Security Event Information Management (SEIM) tools to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field; candidates with an Associate degree and six (6) years of relevant cybersecurity experience, or a minimum High School Diploma / GED equivalent and eight (8) years of relevant cybersecurity experience, will also be considered

  • Oversee incident management processes—from detection and analysis to containment, eradication, and recovery—and develop incident response plans and playbooks for Global Business Units (GBUs)
  • Conduct risk assessments, deliver staff training on cybersecurity best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture and incident response capabilities
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including writing reports, presenting findings, and collaborating with other ENA departments
  • Lead and manage a team of OT cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the cybersecurity resilience of OT environments across multiple industrial sites
  • Ensure all OT systems comply with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards
  • Deploy measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls in OT environments
  • Analyze OT environments, including SCADA and DCS systems, to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Evaluate the design and structure of OT systems to identify potential security weaknesses
  • Collaborate with OEMs and security vendors to integrate advanced cybersecurity technologies into OT environments

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field; candidates with an Associate degree and eight (8) years of relevant cybersecurity experience, or a minimum High School Diploma / GED equivalent and ten (10) years of relevant cybersecurity experience, will also be considered

Equivalent or higher-level certifications related to these will also be considered

Program Manager

What You Can Expect

As the Program Manager at ENGIE North America on the University of Iowa campus, you will lead and manage utility capital projects focused on the lifecycle and renovation of campus utility systems. Your role will encompass overseeing the comprehensive performance of these projects, ensuring they effectively expand and sustain critical utility infrastructure. Your strategic leadership will ensure projects meet ENGIE’s high standards for safety, quality, environmental responsibility, and cost-efficiency, while also supporting innovation and continuous improvement across campus utilities.

 

You will be responsible for directing all aspects of project delivery, including engineering design, procurement, construction management, financial oversight, commissioning, and the initiation of operational phases. Collaborating closely with university stakeholders, Operations, and Maintenance leadership, you will guide a team of Project Managers in establishing clear project objectives, detailed project plans, realistic budgets, and achievable schedules.

 

  • Continuously adapts to new situations, proactively learns, takes ownership of projects, contributes strategically companywide, and demonstrates a strong drive to innovate and effect change
  • Manage internal teams and external consultants to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and public relations standards

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing complex construction projects
  • A proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, or other project management tools

 

 

 

Additional Details

  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; explain why a license is required, i.e. use of company vehicle, ability to drive to site locations

 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,900 – $174,570 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.

Ce vei face:

  • Vei promova oferta educațională de învățământ dual ENGIE, prin susținerea de prezentări în unitățile de învățământ (școlile gimnaziale din Galati și localitățile limitrofe), în rândul elevilor din clasele a VIII-a și/sau părințiilor acestora;
  • Te vei deplasa la unitățile de învățământ programate, conform planificării săptămânale primite de la mangerul de proiect;
  • Vei colecta și administra fișele de preînscriere completate de părinții interesați de programul de învățământ dual ENGIE;

  • Autonomie, inițiativă și implicare;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform valuation and financial analysis/modelling for investments/divestments in compliance with AIFA methodologies;
  • Lead the AIFA workstream for the assigned projects: due diligence, debt raising, negotiations
  • Advise on risk allocation, appropriate mitigation factors and contingencies, hedging strategy, bankability issues, optimization & tax structuring;

  • Finance / Economics based degree or a professional qualification such as CFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) or technical qualification/degree (e.g. engineering).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (preferably within a sponsor-side AIFA / project finance team or within a bank, financial advisory firm and/or accounting/fiscal advisory firm);
  • More than 2 years of experience in a lead role; experience in planning and managing processes
  • Proven experience and demonstrable competency with complex financial modelling (including debt modelling)
  • Advanced proficiency in excel (incl. understanding and use of basic Macros)
  • Experience in supporting the financing efforts for a bid (and/or support a project to financial close) preferable
  • Demonstrable prior experience of project financing for power projects in RSA, including: REIPPP, RMIPPP, ESIPPP, and private procurement bidding and financial close processes; or any other country in Africa would be a valuable experience for the role.
