What You Can Expect

As our Metering Technician, at Georgetown University, you will be responsible for the implementation and overall maintenance of the campus and central plant instrumentation metering instrumentation. 

Every day you will utilize calibration equipment for meter calibrations, including:

    • Field communicator with HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer)
    • Laptop
    • Pressure calibrators and gauges
    • RTD simulator (Resistance Temperature Detector)
    • Signal generators
    • Multimeter
    • Metrology well

 

And you will report to the Operations & Maintenance Manager.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

Goal Of Section: 

  • High school education; with minimum three (3) years of experience in industrial power plant controls and instrumentation
  • You possess knowledge of TCP/IP networking
  • You configure, troubleshoot and repair issues with boilers, chillers, steam, chilled water, gas, electric and hot water instrumentation (analytical, pressure, differential pressure and temperature transmitters and RTD, steam meters, magnetic flow meters & ultrasonic flow meters)
  • You install, troubleshoot and repair network communication equipment
  • You install, maintain and repair sensing lines, valves and fittings
  • You maintain, repair and terminate low voltage signal wiring for instrumentation controls
  • You maintain detailed maintenance and calibration records
  • You have experience participating in new instrumentation start-ups and commissioning
  • You can assist in configuring meter points, history, trends and alarming in the Data Acquisition system and  monitor meter systems for issues
  • You will open, update and close work orders for each job or repair
  • You are experienced in reviewing and updating system documentation, including wiring diagrams
  • You will perform other duties, as required in order to assist in the overall enhancement of the operation

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license; will drive company vehicle
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consists of 10% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
  • Works a schedule that occasionally requires overtime or call-in as required

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range:  $30.00 to $43.51 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Mission

  • You will be a player throughout the execution of our marine and civil infrastructure projects

  • You will take the lead in the design and calculation of steel structures from concept study to execution

  • You dimension steel structures following current Belgian and European standards, legislation, codes of practice and internal guidelines

  • You are creative in looking for structural solutions to specific problems, taking into account design and budget

What You Can Expect

As our Site Administrator II, you will provide administrative support for the Texas Regional Solar Generation sites and will sit in Rogers, TX. What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum education requires a High School diploma with three (3) years’ experience where you have worked with vendor management, accounting, procurement, supply chain, or human resources in an administrative support capacity

This includes assisting management with public and employee relations by facilitating and maintaining communications at the required levels and serving as a member of the local safety committee. You will  collect, review and analyze data to prepare reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials, as well as maintaining routine plant operating logs and reports utilizing Excel. You will be responsible for responding to route routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as asset management, compliance, human resources, and legal departments, you will ensure communication and status updates are received in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Moreover, you will need to establish and maintain general administrative activities, including accounts payable, timesheets, and recordkeeping, managing purchase requisitions and orders, overseeing budgets and vendor relationships, and maintaining important documents, logs, plans, and reports. Other administrative duties include maintaining, updating and retrieving files, forms, inventories, logs, and other documents, receives sorts, and distributes mail and maintaining the general office area.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum education requires a High School diploma with three (3) years’ experience where you have worked with vendor management, accounting, procurement, supply chain, or human resources in an administrative support capacity
  • Must be able to use Outlook, Word, and Excel daily to analyze, communicate, distribute and report data to leadership and external partners
  • You must have knowledge of administrative and secretarial functions including typing, computer skills, scheduling, communicating correspondence via emails, and utilize telecommunication software and equipment such as MS Teams, fax machines, and printers
  • You must have experience creating reports on a scheduled basis

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips to attend company events and training in one (1) week increments
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle or to drive personal vehicle for company events
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • The position consists of 90% work indoors and 10% work outdoors; outdoor work may expose the employee to weather conditions

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range:  $20.12 – 32.73 USD hourly

What You Can Expect

As the Application Development Advisor in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s GEMS Operations (Global Energy Management & Supply) you will work directly with our storage group to re-platform and develop an enterprise level platform delivering high quality strategic products and solutions. Everyday, you will report to the IT Director-Commerical Operations to architect, design, and deliver an enterprise level software solution platform for the battery/storage group and renewable energy solutions. The new platform will provide trading, hedging and asset management functionality, PnL, visualization, reporting, settlements and other services for internal affiliates, and external customers.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field; or a minimum of nine (9) years of experience where you have performed designing and architecting database platforms such as SQL Server and used languages to code such as C#/ .Net, Python or R in a professional setting
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of information technology, system, and application development experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting the needs of an Energy Trading business
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft and Linux operating systems
  • Experienced in cloud technologies such as (AWS, Azure, Snowflake)
  • Experience in ISO market knowledge, primarily with ERCOT and CAISO with a focus on storage and battery
  • Heavy experience building complex user interfaces using Javascript, React, or Angular with grid controls such as AG Grid or other similar grid controls
