As Indirect Operational Buyer in Houston, TX, you will procure goods and services related to General Expense categories, including Travel and Consulting, supporting Corporate Functions and Global Business Units (GBU). You will coordinate procurement requests, collaborate with various teams, and work with suppliers. Assist in the procurement of goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures

Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements

Review and approve purchase orders for HR services, consulting and office supplies

Contribute to procurement efficiency and savings by managing e-catalogues for general supplies and marketing materials

Analyze spend data to support the development of contracting strategies

Identify and record savings opportunities

Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities

Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and analysis

 

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree where you completed courses in finance,  supply chain, engineering or other related disciplines

Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in MS Word and MS Excel

Compensation

Salary Range: $61,400 – $94,070 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

As the Scheduling, Senior Analyst in Houston, Texas, for ENGIE North America, you will play a key role in driving the successful execution of energy projects that support ENGIE’s 2030 goals—including 40 GW of renewables, 10 GW of battery storage, and 4 GW of clean hydrogen capacity. Reporting to the Director, Project Controls your duties will include:

 

  • Develop and maintain detailed Integrated Master Project Schedules (IMS) using Primavera P6 scheduling software
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect approved changes in scope, timelines, Cost, and resources
  • Coordinate with project managers, team members, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule updates
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts, trends, and provide recommendations for resolution through variance reports and what-if scenarios
  • Prepare and present schedule reports and updates to project stakeholders and senior management on a consistent basis and/or when needed
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies and what-If schedules
  • Implementing earned value methodologies within a schedule framework of standardized Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Control Accounts
  • Ensure compliance with company project controls policies and procedures related to project planning and scheduling, earned value, rules of credit, among others
  • Assist in the development of project control plans, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Support the Director of Project Controls in various scheduling and project control activities
  • Develop and manage schedule Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project scheduling in the energy, construction, or engineering industry
  • Primavera P6 proficiency is required, along with expertise in Microsoft Project and other scheduling software

As the Power Transmission Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading development of ENGIE North America's (ENA) into competitive transmission processes around the US, focused primarily on the regions of Southwest Power Pool (SPP) and Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). You will work with teams across the ENGIE Group as well as leverage external resources to support ENA’s success into transmission development processes.

 

You will utilize your knowledge with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), transmission construction practices, scheduling and cost estimation of transmission and substation projects in the United States.  You may be required to participate in auction activities including bidding or negotiations (FERC 1000) process.

 

You will also be responsible for the following:

 

  • Overseeing the process to submit projects to independent system operators (ISO) and/ or regional transmission organization (RTO) for transmission and substation projects from concept to financial investment decision
  • Engaging comprehensively with costs inputs to ensure technical excellence
  • Leading project management activities to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints
  • Identifying opportunities for cost and schedule efficiencies around construction and Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
  • Working with internal teams including procurement, finance and legal to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables to ensure ENA’s success in transmission projects financial investment decisions processes.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Construction Management or another related fields or  have obtained equivalent trade education complimented with 2 years of additional experience
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in electric utility, construction project management, or consultant experience.

  • Perform scenario modeling in production cost software and perform benefits analysis based on ISO/RTO calculation methodologies
  • Reviewing published load forecasts and transmission development plans
  • You will be required to develop proposals and presenting to internal and external stakeholders for adoptions or approval

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business or a related fields where you have extensive education in resolution based data analysis, congestion analysis, quantitative methodology and  quantitative modeling.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in production cost modeling and/or power flow analysis
