Basware Technical Expert (F/M)

Base in Courbevoie (la Défense)

 

Basware is a SaaS software solution, specialized in managing invoices and payment processes for businesses. The software publisher also wants to offer services linked to electronic invoicing (Partner Dematerialization Platform, according to French DGFIP criteria).

The Technical Expert will be responsible for providing support and technical expertise for the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Basware at Engie.

 

Engie is working on the implementation of a Group solution for the digitization of incoming invoices, compliant with the requirements of the French Tax Administration for French entities and capable of responding to the local regulatory specificities of other Engie entities.

This project is also part of a broad program to harmonize solutions (especially the ERP systems present in the Group) and improve work processes, called GET (Global Enterprise Transformation).

 

The person who will occupy this position of Basware Technical Expertise Consultant will therefore have to work on a demanding project governed by calendar constraints (French electronic invoicing reform) and closely monitored by stakeholders (Engie Financial Department & beneficiary entities).

 

 

Content of the mission:

- Participation in projects to implement the Basware solution (incoming invoicing) for ENGIE entities, in order to master the information/contacts/specificities of each entity.

- Provide in-depth technical expertise on the Basware platform.

- Ensure the proper functioning and stability of Basware by carrying out tests, analyzes and resolution of technical problems.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the stability of Basware.

- Document technical procedures, configurations and problem resolutions for future use.

- Participate in meetings and discussions with internal Engie partners to understand their needs and concerns, and propose improvements or technical solutions on Basware.

- Perform rigorous testing to ensure Basware functions properly and meets internal requirements.

- Train end users on the effective use of Basware and provide ongoing technical support to resolve issues and answer questions.

- Ensure technological monitoring to stay up to date on new features and best practices related to Basware.
 

 

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of the Basware platform, including key features and technical configurations.

- Experience in implementing and configuring Basware for clients (for external candidates).

- Ability to resolve technical issues in an autonomous way and find creative solutions.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills to work effectively with the software publisher, internal teams and suppliers (French and professional English level).

- Ability to train and support end users in the use of Basware.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of Basware integration with SAP

- Mastery of the I2P process (invoices to pay), both from a Basware point of view and in its implementation in SAP

- Knowledge of the requirements related to the electronic invoicing reform of the DGFIP (French Tax Administration).

Context:

The department that handles all the IT, Digital and Data requirements for GEMS (Global Energy Management & Sales) is called EC IS (Expertise Center Information Systems). Network Architect (H / F)

Technical Architects are responsible for designing the technical architecture in a specific IS area and updating it in the medium and long term in response to business needs and services offered in the ENGIE IT catalog. They endeavor to find the best compromise between :

What You Can Expect

As the Application Management Director in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America you will support all the business activities within ENGIE’s Renewables Business Unit. Every day, you report to the Vice President of IT & Digital to provide information technology and operational technology support for construction and commissioning of Wind, Solar and Battery Storage systems which includes developing objectives and strategies to align with company visions. This person will lead IT transition and integration projects for mergers and acquisition activities (M&A), along with developing and managing IT budgets and technology investments.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of IT personnel management, IT project management; a solid track record of successful systems implementation and support in a professional setting; in lieu of a four-year degree, you should bring a total of twelve (12) years of experience in which you have gained an understanding of business systems including asset/ maintenance management, SCADA, health & safety, environmental, and maintenance/outage management
  • Previous experience in working with plant systems, renewables operations, including accounting, inventory management, communications and reporting
  • Knowledge of network connectivity and plant site infrastructure
  • Up-to-date in current technologies and methodologies for IT process, procedures, project and control management
  • Solid understanding of de-regulated power markets and trading/ risk management

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 50% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips; Must be able to travel internationally once in a year
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $224,135 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

As Data Analyst in Brussels, you will be part of the B2B Supply Belgium business platform. The main focus is serving B2B customers in Belgium with power / gas, products and services, green energy … The business platform consists of approximately 180 people, from which 130 on business side and 50 on IS  and DATA side. Within the Engie group, our business platform is part of the Global Energy Management & Sales global business unit.

Your role :

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join a newly found “Data Team” to work on multiple uses cases linked to our Data Platform: Customer Business view, Green Energy Reporting, Meetering,  settelement,  etc  

 

Your responsibilities : 

  • As a Data Analyst, you form the bridge between product owners, customers and the technical Data Team. Through workshops and individual discussions, you will quickly familiarise yourself with the business domains, analyse the business questions and interpret correctly the business requirements.
  • You work closely with our business stakeholders: during the analysis, you form a clear picture of the business processes and requirements. You translate these requirements into Data Models design,
  • You contribute to the design of the dashboards and reports
  • You will engage with application owners and source data owners to draw out functional data flows. You possess sufficient technical baggage and are able to ask critical questions.
  • You support the Data Platform architect in developing a design of an optimal data solutions.
  • You describe, plan and organise functional tests in a concrete test plan and participate in the functional tests yourself.
  • You will help that the delivered data products meet the quality requirements, together with other  Dataplatform stakeholders.

As our Applications Advisor- Budget, Forecast & Analytics in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America, you will act as a key link between IT & Digital and various departments working towards zero transition in North America.
