What You Can Expect

As our Power Plant Maintenance Mechanic, at Georgetown University you will be responsible for executing inspections, preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on mechanical equipment to maintain campus utility production and distribution systems of steam, chilled water, condensate, and domestic water while optimizing operating costs. Every day you will assist others as necessary to maintain reliable and safe plant operation.  And you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will need a High School Diploma, or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience in the maintenance, rebuilding, and repairing of mechanical equipment, or the equivalent combination of training and experience is required due to the complexity of the plant systems 

  • You have the ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical prints
  • You can read process and identify drawings of plant equipment and distribution systems
  • Your maintenance tasks may include but are not limited to mechanical alignment, lubrication, inspection and vibration monitoring 
  • You will coordinate with the activities of other operations or trade personnel in relations to safe plant operations, maintenance, and reliability

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10%
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/ will drive company vehicle on site
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consist of 50% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

 

 

Compensation

Hourly Range:  $35.96 USD hourly

Your position is part of a bargaining unit represented by 1199 SEIU-United Healthcare Workers East. Many of the terms and conditions of your employment, including but not limited to work scheduling, wages, vacation, sick leave, and other benefits, will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement (the “CBA”) between the Company and the union. 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

În prezent, căutăm o persoană cu experiență în domeniul înmagazinării gazelor naturale pentru a se alătura COMPARTIMENTULUI USCARE GAZE, în calitate de OPERATOR USCARE GAZE în locaţia Corunca, judeţul Mureş.

Ce vei face:

  • Vei urmări funcționarea aparatelor de măsură și control de la Stația U.G. și vei anunța orice defecțiune constatată.
  • Vei efectua operații de separare a impurităților antrenate (apă, condensat), la instalațiile Stației U.G. colectându-le separat.
  • Vei urmări și controla încadrarea parametrilor de funcționare a Stației U.G. pe timpul derulării procesului de tratare gaze și regenerare în limitele prescrise.
  • Vei executa manevrele care asigură continuitatea procesului de tratare (uscare) a gazelor tranzitate prin Stația U.G. (schimbarea de ciclu tratare-regenerare).
  • Vei executa manevrele de izolare a Stației U.G., de dirijare a gazelor pe ocolitor și de evacuare a gazelor din Stația U.G., prin dirijarea și arderea acestora la coș, atunci când situația o cere (defecte majore sau inițierea lucrărilor de  revizie a Stației U.G.).
  • Vei primi și preda serviciul la locul de muncă, pe bază de proces verbal, în care vei consemna situația Stației U.G. și a instalațiilor din grup, defecțiunile și intervențiile ce s-au executat la acestea, precum și alte precizări legate de activitatea ta. 
  • Vei manevra ventilele de pe conductele colectoare la dispoziția superiorului direct, conform programelor de lucru.
  • Vei participa  la lucrările de revizie anuală a Stației U.G.
  • Program: Programul de lucru va fi organizat în 2 schimburi: 12/24,  pe perioada ciclului de extracţie gaze naturale (noiembrie-martie), conform graficului de lucru aprobat şi se derulează în intervalul orar: 08:00-20:00, respectiv un singur schimb, 8 ore/zi, 40 ore/săptămână în intervalul orar: 07:30-15:30, pe perioada ciclului de injecţie gaze naturale (aprilie-octombrie).

 

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

  • Studii medii de specialitate;
  • Autorizație gaze naturale grad EGT;
  • Experiență minimum 2/3 ani în domeniul înmagazinării gazelor naturale;
  • Experiență în operarea de instalații de petrol/gaze sau similare;
  • Experiență în monitorizarea de instalații prin sisteme de control;
  • Cunoștinte tehnice solide;
  • Cunoștinte privind procedurile specifice de lucru și ordinea de execuție a acestora;
  • Permis AUTO.

As our Metering Technician, at Georgetown University, you will be responsible for the implementation and overall maintenance of the campus and central plant instrumentation metering instrumentation.

  • You configure, troubleshoot and repair issues with boilers, chillers, steam, chilled water, gas, electric and hot water instrumentation (analytical, pressure, differential pressure and temperature transmitters and RTD, steam meters, magnetic flow meters & ultrasonic flow meters)
  • You install, troubleshoot and repair network communication equipment
  • You install, maintain and repair sensing lines, valves and fittings
  • You maintain, repair and terminate low voltage signal wiring for instrumentation controls
  • You maintain detailed maintenance and calibration records
  • You have experience participating in new instrumentation start-ups and commissioning
  • You can assist in configuring meter points, history, trends and alarming in the Data Acquisition system and  monitor meter systems for issues
  • You will open, update and close work orders for each job or repair
  • You are experienced in reviewing and updating system documentation, including wiring diagrams
  • You will perform other duties, as required in order to assist in the overall enhancement of the operation

As our Shift Supervisor, at ENGIE’s Medical Area Total Energy Plant (MATEP) located in Boston, MA you will be responsible for directing and supervising the operations department and other plant personnel to ensure the facility is operated and maintained in a clean, safe, and efficient manner in accordance with all company policies and environmental standards.  The Shift Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager.

  • You will possess a high school diploma / GED or equivalent
  • You maintain a Valid CFC-2 and CFC-3 license; or, a CFC-universal license
  • You have a Valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s License
  • You must be able to work internally in the physical plant and externally on the facility’s grounds or at satellite facilities
  • This role requires you to work a rotating shift this includes weekends and holidays as required
  • You may be required to work overtime (relief, off-shift, and emergency coverage) as needed
  • You have experience directing shift operators on the starting, control, operation, shutdown and inspection of high pressure boilers, combustion turbine generators, steam turbine generators, chillers, electrical distribution equipment, steam distribution equipment and all required plant auxiliary equipment
  • You perform regular inspection tours of the plant and distribution system including underground tunnels and electrical power systems; and prepares logs and other operating records including data collection via the plant computer
  • You will be training shift personnel in safety procedures and equipment use, plant operating procedures and environmental standards. 
  • You will support the implementation of corporate and plant training programs and monitor the progress of your reports towards completion of the program training
  • You must observe and comply with all standard safety codes and practices, and perform work in accordance with recognized trade and company standards and, where applicable, local, state, and federal laws including participation in the emergency response team
  • You will perform other related duties as required

  • Under certain conditions, while working in the plant, may be required to wear a respirator – respirators are required in specified areas, therefore the employee will be issued with and trained in the proper use of this equipment
  • May require repetitive stooping, bending, climbing, reaching, and carrying, intermittent lifting
  • Must be able to work from ladders, scaffolds, high-lifts, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively

 

 

Compensation

Hourly:  $43.94 to $64.25 USD hourly

As our Site Administrator II, you will provide administrative support for the Texas Regional Solar Generation sites and will sit in Anson, TX. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks crucial to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. This includes assisting management with public and employee relations by facilitating and maintaining communications at the required levels and serving as a member of the local safety committee. You will  collect, review and analyze data to prepare reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials, as well as maintaining routine plant operating logs and reports utilizing Excel. You will be responsible for responding to route routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as asset management, compliance, human resources, and legal departments, you will ensure communication and status updates are received in a timely manner to meet deadlines. Moreover, you will need to establish and maintain general administrative activities, including accounts payable, timesheets, and recordkeeping, managing purchase requisitions and orders, overseeing budgets and vendor relationships, and maintaining important documents, logs, plans, and reports. Other administrative duties include maintaining, updating and retrieving files, forms, inventories, logs, and other documents, receives sorts, and distributes mail and maintaining the general office area.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

What You Can Expect

As the on-site Wind Technician II, at the Seymour Hills Wind Project in Seymour, TX, you will report to the Operations and Maintenance office to meet the Site Operations Manager to receive work orders and discuss project details. Adaptability is crucial as tasks may vary depending on operational needs and requirements. Your primary responsibilities involve troubleshooting, repairing, reconnecting, and inspecting electrical equipment, including substations and overall site performance.  At this site you will be working with high voltage energized equipment and must follow all safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) grounding and other safety precautions. Collaborating with service providers and contractors, you will oversee daily work activities, produce various reports, operate site equipment, and coordinate with local utilities and Independent System Operators (ISOs) for switching and curtailments.

 

Ensuring compliance with ENGIE and regulatory agency standards, you'll conduct inspections and recurring checks on site equipment. You'll actively participate in behavior-based safety programs, enforce safety procedures, and conduct orientations and meetings to promote a safe working environment. Alongside routine inspections and serving as the main contact for landowners, you'll manage spare parts inventory, coordinate contractor work, and maintain cleanliness on-site.

 

Gaining and maintaining GWO training is required, as well as participating in turbine climbing activities. You'll provide recommendations for operational and maintenance improvements, offer equipment operation training, and utilize Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques to address failures. You will work on computerized work order systems for purchase requisitions and receiving statuses.  From time to time you will be required to support other wind assets during planned outages and emergencies, potentially requiring overnight stays. Furthermore, you'll be part of an on-call rotation and must reside within 50 miles of the site to respond promptly to outages and emergencies.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum High school diploma

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience and knowledge of Solar generation, Wind generation, Thermal power, Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance where you have working knowledge of industrial electrical or substation equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification as substation technician within twelve (12) months of hire date

  • This is a field position requiring regular travel to client site(s)
