Ce vei face:

    • Vei coordona și superviza întregul proces de construcție în cadrul proiectelor de energie regenerabilă (solar,vânt și stocare energie în baterii);
    • Vei stabili livrabilele în cadrul proiectelor de energie regenerabilă și vei asigura suport în estimarea și controlul costurilor de construcție;
    • Vei asigura o bună urmărire a indicatorilor financiari ai proiectului;
    • Vei acorda suport în:
      •  procesul de achiziție materiale și echipamente, anterior demarării procesului de construcție;
      •  selecția furnizorilor/subcontractorilor;
      •  analiza ofertelor primite în cadrul licitațiilor.
    • Vei asigura suport în cadrul negocierilor privind contractarea prestatorilor de construcții pentru proiectele fotovoltaice și proiectele eoliene;
    • Vei planifica și monitoriza execuția activităților din cadrul procesului de construcție aferent proiectelor alocate, în concordanță cu obiectivele legate de termene, buget/constrângeri bugetare, standarde de calitate și sănătate-securitate;
    • Vei identifica în avans potențialele probleme, vei dezvolta planuri de contingente și vei implementa măsuri de mitigare a riscurilor;
    • Te vei asigura de obținerea în timp util a avizelor și autorizațiilor necesare construirii proiectelor dezvoltate;
    • Vei monitoriza permanent stadiul execuției lucrărilor pe șantiere din punct de vedere al respectării planurilor, termenelor agreate, a calității lucrărilor și respectarea regulilor SSM;
    • Vei asigura coordonarea și managementul contractorilor, subcontractorilor, furnizorilor și a tuturor părților implicate în procesul de construcție, mențînând o colaborare strânsă cu managerul de proiect;
    • Vei supraveghea toate construcțiile offsite and onsite pentru a asigura respectarea standardelor de construcție și siguranță;
    • Vei monitoriza și te vei asigura de respectarea condițiilor contractuale în relația cu subcontractorii/furnizorii;
    • Vei elabora lunar rapoarte de activitate și vei informa managerul de proiect/managerul ierarhic superior cu privire la progresul procesului de construcție;
    • Vei monitoriza activitatea de logistică și vei administra materialele în cadrul proiectelor de energie regenerabilă.

 

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

    • ​​​Studii superioare tehnice finalizate cu diplomă de licență;
    • Experiență minimum 5 ani pe o poziție similară în șantiere de energie regenerabilă sau de mediu;
    • Experiență minimum 5 ani pe șantiere de construcții;
    • Disponibilitate la deplasări, în special în zonele Sud și Est ale țării;
    • Gândire analitică;
    • Orientare către rezultat;
    • Capacitate de a respectă termenele;
    • Capacitate de organizare, planificare și prioritizare, de a acționa autonom și de a lua decizii rapide;
    • Cunoștințe și tehnici de negociere;
    • Cunoștințe tehnice și legislative de specialitate;
    • Permis de conducere cat. B.

Power Marketing & Commercial Strategy Analyst II

As a Power Marketing & Commercial Analyst in Houston, Chicago or Denver, you will report to Vice President, Power Marketing and work as a supporting key member of the Power Marketing team within the Utility-Scale and Corporate Renewable Development Business in the U.S. You will support commercial offtake and project marketing efforts to customers for the ENGIE’s project portfolio of wind, solar and battery storage projects. Additionally, you will support in assessing and contributing to the project acquisition efforts & market strategy of the Commercial Strategy Team.

 

  • Manage Request For Proposal process in response to a high-volume of simultaneous Request For Proposals to commercial and/or utility customers as well as working cross-functionally with development and financial teams in support of the bids & strategy
  • Manage and continually update ENGIE CRM for opportunities
  • Generate reports for organization reviews and strategy sessions
  • Oversee and communicate organization pipeline to internal decision-makers
  • Liaise with finance team on project economics and financial modeling
  • Support the Commercial Strategy team on evaluating project acquisition targets & market strategy development 
  • Create and maintain ENGIE proposals and external marketing materials provided to customers 

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree  in which you completed courses in finance, economics, mathematics, science, engineering or similar technical or analytics based program
  • A minimum of two years of energy market industry experience
  • Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in utilizing detailed, Excel-based, financial models
  • Commercial acumen addition to deep in analytic and/or technical capabilities

Site Operations Manager

What You Can Expect

As the Operations Manager for two large 225 & 200 MW power plant situated in Anson, TX, you bear the responsibility for overseeing total employment, training, schedules, safety, and the day-to-day financial operations of the site. In your capacity as lead of safety, it is imperative to ensure that all permits and reports are current, valid, and in compliance with both federal and state regulatory agencies. You will be tasked with the management of vendors, subcontractors, maintenance, and consultants, coordinating efforts with third parties. Additionally, you will handle the troubleshooting of Balance of Plant (BOP) switching, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) functions, and communicate with landowners and local communities.

 

Your managerial role extends to leading a team comprising two technicians. Utilizing systems like Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), you will monitor daily asset performance and regulatory compliance to meet standards set by organizations such as the National Electrical Renewables Council (NERC). Your responsibilities involve utilizing various computer-based systems, ensuring the timely update and maintenance of all documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional management may be necessary to provide reports on the status, progress, and development of various projects on-site.

 

  • May need to provide technical and management support for the operations of the wind farm site
  • Must be willing to attain substation technician certification within 12 months of hire
  • Carries out all responsibilities under environmental legislation to prevent environmental spills
  • Manages a safety program that ensuring the safe operation of the site regarding the public, employees, and equipment
  • Cooperates with internal and third parties regarding safety and regulatory compliance and responds to their recommendations in a timely manner

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma/ technical degree or equivalent education where you gain knowledge and or experience with leadership, management, communication, organizational, operational and prioritization skills

  • Must have five (5) years’ experience in a related industry where you have experience with industrial electrical equipment, power generations, thermal generations, line, and utility scale equipment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in leadership or supervisory role of technical, operations or maintenance personnel
  • Working knowledge of wind power generating equipment and technologies and substations to identify, categorize and troubleshoot
  • Must be physically capable of entering and working in a confined space (crawl spaces, shafts, small enclosed areas) as well as work at various heights and in adverse conditions during operations, shutdowns, and in fire/emergency activities
  • Must be physically capable of wearing protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to half and full-face respirators, fall protection equipment, hardhat, safety shoes, safety glasses
  • Knowledge of using equipment suitable for lifting up to 50 lbs, if necessary 

 

 

Additional Details

  • Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally on limited occasions to support other sites
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Solar Site located in West Union, IL.  

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs.

 

  • Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
  • Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings
  • While you will primarily work independently on-site, there will always be a nearby technician for safety support; the site's team comprises of a site manager, a Balance of Plant technician, and the solar technician. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/ DC electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors

The Role:

We’re seeking an experience Owners Site Representative to be based on-site at the Goorambat East Solar Farm to support the Project Manager in the delivery of the project by representing ENGIE’s interests on the site and monitoring the construction of all EPC and connection works.

 

The incumbent will be accountable to the Project Manager and will ideally be based at the project site near Benalla, 2 hours from Melbourne.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and monitoring all construction activities for compliance with contractual conditions and relevant regulations and providing status updates to the Project Manager as required
  • Coordination of onsite activities between EPC contractor and connection works contractor to ensure that each contractor’s activities are planned in a way that minimises the impact on the other contractors
  • Overseeing and monitoring the EPC contractor’s implementation of all health, safety and environmental management obligations and systems on the site
  • Assist the Owner’s Engineering in reviewing and monitoring the quality of works delivered by the contractors, ensuring quality requirements are satisfied and any defects/non-conformances are properly captured with corrective actions properly tracked until resolution
  • Responsible for ensuring ENGIE / project owner is fully compliant with all contractual obligations
  • Manage and report progress against the project schedule
  • Represent ENGIE, establish and maintain excellent working relationships with all external stakeholders including the local community, landowners, regulatory bodies
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate.  Proactively develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these
  • Review and endorse final punch lists for each work package. 

 

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience with onsite construction management of renewable energy infrastructure projects, particularly solar.  You have gained sound project and contract management experience for construction projects and able to work under pressure to meet scheduled and demanding timelines.

You can ensure accountability, communicate effectively and balance stakeholders.

  • PPA Negotiation: Lead negotiation of the terms and conditions in the renewable energy PPAs, term sheets, exclusivity, broker, and drive PPA transactions toward closure internally and externally
  • Build Customer Relationships: Actively manage and build relationships with existing and new customers in different C&I customer segments across North America. Seek opportunities and deal structures that enable bilateral transactions with the C&I customers while remaining abreast of renewable energy opportunities in the United States and global industry trends impacting the future of renewable development opportunities and their competitiveness as they relate to C&I customers
  • Proposal Preparation: Evaluate requests for proposals, lead bid preparation, prepare competitive analysis, and manage participation in competitive procurement processes. Match available projects in the development pipeline with customer needs and prepare proposal and presentation materials for customers during shortlist and negotiation process. Lead establishment of strategy, pricing, and different structures for available projects
  • Internal PPA Approvals: Prepare internal approval notes and review PPAs with internal stakeholders, collaborate and coordinate with ENGIE’s renewable project development, delivery team, and cross functional teams and business lines. Leading the internal support teams though all aspects of the complex sales process through to closing
  • Growth Strategy Support: Ensure customer preferences and feedback on energy products and attributes, project locations, and continuously evolving PPA terms are shared with development, finance, and management team for future growth path of renewables business for ENGIE in North America
  • Public Speaking: Represent ENGIE at national renewable energy events as speaker, panelist, and energy leader

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering or related field of study where you have learned contracts, negotiations, business administration, or similar based program
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the energy industry with three (3) years of experience in power origination
  • Record of success in a development or PPA capacity in the clean energy sector securing long term power sale agreements on renewable energy projects with large corporations and/or utilities
  • Proven ability to lead, structure, negotiate, coordinate, and execute PPAs together with internal and external advisors

The Project Controls Cost Analyst II will interface and work collaboratively on cross-functional internal and external project teams and corporate support functions to provide cost control services throughout the entire duration of the project life cycle.

 

Every day in this role you will support project controls processes for new grid scale renewable capital development, construction and operational projects including:

  • Budgeting and control of development expenditures (tracking limited notice to proceed (LNTP’s), preparing schedule of values (SOV), and supporting planned value (PV) distribution activities;
  • Preparation of capital construction budgets including forecasting and variance reporting; preparation of routine reports of project status;
  • Control of the cost categorization per predefined budgets and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Support Project Managers (PM’s) in project budget analysis and control through the preparation of:
  • Weekly project budget status reports
  • Month over month cost variance analysis per WBS
  • Monthly key performance indicators which detail out deltas in overall estimate at complete (EAC)
  • Monthly cash flow forecasts
  • Monthly earned value management (EVM) calculations
  • Assist projects with vendor requirements, invoice approvals, purchase orders, change events, and contingency management
