Job Purpose/Mission

EEA is looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to oversee and drive the quality assurance strategy for both web and mobile applications in a multi-tenant architecture. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, developing comprehensive testing strategies, and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security across multiple tenants.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and DevOps, to establish quality metrics, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks that will enable us to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software and directly contribute to

the success of a mission driven company with social and environmental impact. Candidates will get the opportunity to work in a diverse technology stack at scale and lead the evolution of at least one of our software products.

Responsibilities

· Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, ensuring clear goals, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of QA team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and proactive team culture focused on delivering high-quality software.

· Quality Assurance Strategy:

  • Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies for multi-tenant web and mobile applications, covering functional, performance, security, and regression testing.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Establish and monitor key QA metrics (e.g., defect rates, code coverage, test execution time, etc.) to track and improve software quality over time.

· Test Automation:

  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure efficient regression testing and fast feedback in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of test coverage, including integration, API, and UI automation across both web and mobile platforms.
  • Identify and implement tools and frameworks for test automation that align with the needs of multi-tenant applications.

· Manual and Exploratory Testing:

  • Manage manual testing efforts for complex or high-risk areas of the application that require human insight.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases, usability issues, and unanticipated defects.

· Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure the QA process is integrated into the development lifecycle.
  • Evaluation and/or authoring of UAT together with product managers and provide necessary support to business stakeholders.

· Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement continuous testing practices to provide feedback on software quality early in the development cycle.
  • Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, and integrate them into the team’s processes.
  • Work to reduce release cycle times by optimizing testing processes and increasing automation coverage.

Knowledge and skills

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience with both web and mobile applications (iOS and Android) testing, including experience working with multi-tenant architectures.
  • Strong experience in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, performance, and security testing.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into CI workflows (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
  • Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and project management tools like Jira.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing QA teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with load testing and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-tenant systems, including tenant isolation and data segregation requirements is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
  • Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Sentry, Zabbix).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in a relevant engineering discipline (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science preferred) or comparable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all purchases and procurement coordination to support all O&M requirements of each site.
  • Responsible for liaising with government regulatory bodies such as Suruhanjaya Tenaga, TNB, DOSH, etc to ensure compliance.
  • Plan and conduct periodic inspection, switching and maintenance for all electrical systems for high voltage and low voltage switch board, bus ducts, transformers, switchgear, etc.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Highly proactive O&M professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing clients and site teams
  • Strong academic achievement with at least a chargeman BO (11KV or 33KV) Certificate by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, especially related to utilities such as thermal oil heating, chilled water, iced water, compressed air, etc
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders

What You Can Expect

Our Electrical and Instrumentation Technician II, located on the beautiful University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, IA. will be responsible for maintenance and installation of plant and distribution electronics and instrumentation. We operate the power plants, steam, chilled water and drinking water plants on campus and at the Oakdale satellite location.  This Technician will also be working with metering communications and controls systems including network administration and security.

  

No two days are the same in this role. The only thing that is assured is that we are going to start the day focused on safety. We will be lining out the day’s work, safety procedures as required by OSHA and company policy  and making sure that we have the materials to complete the scheduled tasks safely and efficiently.  Skills like reading diagrams and schematics and drawings of utility systems are used daily.  We also troubleshoot and design and implement Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) both  electrically and through software and firmware configurations.  You will also recommend updates and system improvements for a variety of internal groups.

 

  • The daily work will consists of a  variety of  new installations and upgrades to unscheduled maintenance that will challenge your troubleshooting skills. This position requires multiple commitments. The first is to safety the second is to learning, and adapting to new systems, and software and maintaining your expertise in your craft.
  • This employee is required to be on-call on a scheduled basis and must be able to respond on location within one (1) hour of notification
  •  This role requires the ability to work in confined spaces in the plants and in utility tunnels throughout the campus.  You must be physically capable of entering and working in a confined space (crawl spaces, shafts, small enclosed areas, pipes and the like)

 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • This role requires a minimum educational level of a High School Diploma or GED
  • This position requires a minimum of 4 (four) years of experience; or a combination of  experience and advanced education or training that totals four (4) years. that is directly applicable to this role. Such as,  military training ,  or an associates  or certificate based program in electrical or electronics
  • With this four years of training and work experience you will have gained  knowledge and experience in servicing utility systems, including  three (3) years of industrial plant or power plants  and one (1) or more years of experience using MS Server including the configuration and servicing of networking switches in an industrial environment
  • You will be experienced in proper application of hand tools, multimeters, and other testing and repair equipment to effectively troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation and controls equipment
  • You have experience applying proper electrical codes, manufacturer guidelines and  the regulations and guidelines of local, state, and national electrical and safety codes
  •  You are skilled in the calibration of utility instrumentation, and knowledgeable in control systems. You use high-level programming concepts such as objects, functions, routines, data types, tag naming conventions and can code and run simple PLC programs. You have experience in installation and configuration of  control system hardware and software
  • You are experienced in network architectures and Ethernet networks using routers and switches. You understand the variations in platform protocols and understand the role of protocol layers in data networks
  • You have developed strong communications skills and communicate professionally via email detailed technical information and instructions. You complete written reports in the Maintenance  Management System.  and communicate technical details and safety concerns or  instructions  verbally with other technicians, vendors, students staff and the general public
  • You will have strong problem solving and math skills you will be able to perform problem decomposition and stepwise refinement in problem solving, after identifying the root cause of a problem you have analyzed available options and made recommendations and implemented solutions to systems problems

As a Transaction Tax Manager in Houston, you will report to Tax Director and responsible for indirect tax compliance for all of ENGIE North America (ENA) reporting entities.  The scope includes sales and use tax, gross receipts tax, Paid Up Capital (PUC), excise tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), utility tax, and any other transaction based tax returns as required, and state indirect tax audits.

What You’ll Bring

What You’ll Bring

Additional Details

Compensation

Salary Range: $84,000 – $117,000 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Your mission, if you accept it: the AIFA team is dedicated to the financial structuring of ENGIE's transactions for the 4 GBUs (Renewables; Energy Solutions; Flex Gen and Retail; Networks). In this position, you will manage several transactions (3 to 5 with a total value of €1 billion) simultaneously. You will carry out the financial analysis of investment projects such as acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, financings and responses to calls for tender, and provide direct support for decision-making. You will ensure that the valuation methodology and investment criteria are applied consistently across all projects. You will also carry out cross-functional tasks such as depreciation tests and look-back exercises. You will develop complex financial models used for decision-making, from detailed operational assumptions to the key financial indicators required for investment decisions. You will play an active role in training junior staff.

Internal interfaces: you will maintain strong working relationships with the finance, tax, legal and business development teams to structure projects as effectively as possible.

External interfaces: you will manage relations with banks, project financing and M&A advisers, investment funds, auditors, etc.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Perform troubleshooting activities as necessary along with the solar field technical assistants to determine failure causes and rectify defects found;
  • Participate in solar field performance and availability improvement or operations and maintenance cost reduction plans by highlighting defects in the solar field design or installation. Attempt all possible actions of reducing equipment downtime and ensuring high solar field availability;
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned or instructed by the maintenance manager;
  • Monitor Solar field Maintenance activities, costs, and take necessary corrective actions to ensure compliance with approved plans and budgets;
  • Comply and enforce compliance with Safety rules & occupational health and safety regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Instrumwntation + 3 Years industrial/mineral processing/Manufacturing and processing/ Powerplant experience;
  • Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation + 5 years industrial and/or powerplant experience.

Experience 

  • Experience in maintenance and repair of instruments, PLC's and Control Equipment;
  • Experience in maintaining Parabolic through Collectors will be advantageous;
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatics stystems;

Purpose of the Job

 

The Senior Business Developer responsibility is to identify, evaluate, develop and deliver business opportunities, through structured deals, which fit EPWME strategic objectives, financial criteria and risk allocation.

These business development opportunities will primarily be focused on activities in the region related to flexible power generation (Gas fired plant, BESS, Sea Water Desalination, H2) arising through:

  • Greenfield development (either bids or bilateral transactions);
  • Acquisitions;
  • Brownfield development;
  • Other energy-related technology developments.

The Senior Business Developer will report to the –Head of Business Development

 

Key Accountabilities

•            Identify, evaluate, develop and execute new business development opportunities for EPWME

•            Conduct assessment of a project to assess its technical, legal and financial viability.

•            Prepare, monitor, analyze and approve projects’ budgets, expenses as well as provides accommodating follow-up reports

•            Lead cross-functional teams (AI&FA, ETSG, Legal, HSE, Procurement, Tax, Insurance and CSR) )consisting of development and other business functions to launch and advance new project opportunities

•            Liaise with all internal functions, including legal, engineering and construction, commercial, and operations from project inception into operation; in particular coordinate with teams to effectively define, implement and work to priorities between and across project development and project execution activities

•            Lead negotiations of all project agreements (JDA, SHA, PPA and/or WPA, EPC and supply contracts, Finance Documentation, etc.);

•            Lead negotiations with clients, partners, contractors, external advisors, lenders, and other counterparts;

•            Develop a plan which meets both short and long term financial objectives,  identify development priorities and potential asset rotation opportunities to create additional value for EPWME
