As a Hydrology Expert (m/f/d) you’ll be part of the OneWater organisation and report to the Director of the Cli-mate, Resilience and Environment unit. This newly created and growing unit is composed of almost 30  Environmental Engineers, Hydrologists, Water Resources Experts, Geomatics and Climate Change Spe-cialists based in Germany and France. As experienced technical expert, you work within flexible project teams at the realization of international projects, from our headquarters in Bad Vilbel (Rhein Main area), Germany, and abroad. You’ll contribute to foster internal collaboration, promote knowledge sharing with-in and outside our unit, and further expand our experience in complex projects related to flood protec-tion, water resource management, river basin plans, irrigation, water transfer or disaster risk management in the context of climate change. Your field of activity includes:

 

  • Independently provide key input to the preparation of masterplans and (pre-)feasibility studies

Mission

Profile

  • You have a specific interest in applying the relevant design codes and guidelines for the structural design and soil-structure interaction of offshore substructures or other marine infrastructure
  • You have experience of designing and drafting marine infrastructure works in 3D drafting software (Revit, Autocad 2D)
  • You have experience in designing concrete reinforcement for 3D structures.
  • Experience in Civil 3D is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Design Standards (ISO, EC, NEN, EAU, …)
  • Knowledge of standards for Building Consent (omgevingsvergunning) in Flanders (Belgium) is an asset
  • You are analytical and precise.

Mission

  • You will be a player throughout the execution of our marine and civil infrastructure projects

Profile

  • You are a qualified Master of Science in Structural Engineering with a Major in ‘Construction Design’ or ‘Dredging and Off-Shore Engineering’ or ‘Marine Engineering’

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant technical experience in the design and engineering of steel structures and infrastructure projects such as bridges, port infrastructure, lock doors, barrages, sheet piles, anchors, jetties, or large civil infrastructure works, including calculation on structures;

  • You have experience in designing steel elements in complex 3D structures

  • You have an understanding of the applicable construction techniques and are eager to keep your knowledge in line with current methods.

  • You are quality-driven and operate in a customer-focused way

  • You are a team player

  • You have extensive knowledge of current Belgian and European Design Standards, legislation, codes of practice (ISO, EC, NEN, EAU, SB250, SB260,...)

  • You are mobile and open to occasional missions abroad (short or medium-term).

Perfil requerido:

  • Identificación y resolución de incidencias relacionadas con clientes o producción.

The Role:

This role is responsible for leading and motivating team members, including the leadership team, of the Client Success Department.  The Director, Client Success role will support and execute on the vision and strategy of the department while seeking continuous improvement for the client experience. What You Can Expect

Located in the Southern California Region, the Photovoltaic (PV) Technician will be responsible for the preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of numerous solar projects, primarily smaller-scale public works projects. Electrical safety and driving safety are critical in this role, and you will be expected to fully comply with all safety requirements and federal, state, and local laws applicable to this position.

 

As a PV Technician, your primary responsibilities include maintaining the performance of each photovoltaic project, responding promptly to trouble tickets, and performing corrective actions while maintaining detailed service reports. You will develop work scopes for repair issues requiring subcontracted assistance, conduct annual preventative maintenance services for PV systems, and use a field mobile application for accurate record keeping. You will review annual service reports to identify and plan corrective actions with the Regional Service Manager.

 

In this role, you will also be responsible for performing corrective repair services, maintaining detailed expense records, and creating and refining reporting systems for management. Other tasks include re-commissioning, site inspections, and any additional duties assigned by the manager.

 

You will work closely with the Regional Service Manager for daily tasks and directions and provide on-the-job training to apprentice electricians, helping them develop into safe, productive journeyman electricians. Ongoing communication with the Regional Service Manager regarding field activity status is essential.

 

Your work will predominantly be on prevailing wage projects, and all project work must adhere to the O&M and Performance Guarantee contract terms, especially concerning customer safety requirements, DOJ Livescan, and site access terms and conditions.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be a California Certified Journeyman Electrician
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience, experience with PV design, installation, and/or maintenance       
  • The position must abide by and understand the safety requirements of the NEC electrical code, NFPA70 and OSHA 30
  • The position must work very close with the  Regional Service Manager for daily tasks and directions
  • Provide on-the job training to Electrical apprentices
  • The position requires reviewing PV system performance reports and troubleshooting under-performance issues as well as outage problems at customer sites
  • Technical requirement of commissioning, troubleshooting of solar electrical generation systems, and monitoring communication equipment

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 90% of the time with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; must use of company vehicle, and have ability to drive to site locations
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consist of 90% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions; must have ability to work outdoors and on rooftops

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range:  $35.82 – $54.90 USD hourly
