What You Can Expect

As our High Voltage Shop Intern, at The Ohio State University, you will be responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the campus’s high voltage distribution and maintenance as well as electrical reliability of campus chill water and steam plants. Every day you will document and update campus HV system drawings and develop an organized repository for existing and future drawings.

 

  • You will organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks, and be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • You have good-interpersonal skills and self-motivated
  • You possess knowledge of general procurement processes or business principles
  • You have experience with the software included in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly word processing, spreadsheets and database programs

 

 

You will report to the High Voltage Operations and Maintenance Manager. The internship work term will be start on June 2, 2025- August 22, 2025.

  • You are a Junior or Senior at The Ohio State University, working toward a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Che cosa farai?

Sotto la supervisione del Business Support Manager, in stretta collaborazione con i Project Manager e con l’RSPP, ti occuperai di supportare l'Area di business nella gestione e messa in atto delle misure di prevenzione e protezione dai rischi per i lavoratori nell’ambito della gestione di contratti di servizi e di lavori (cantieri temporanei e mobili) in conformità con le normative in vigore.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Collaborerai per individuare ed indicare le possibili fonti di rischio all’interno del luogo di lavoro (sopralluoghi in campo);
  • Verificherai le necessarie misure di prevenzione, protezione e controllo riguardo a ciascun tipo di rischio e supporterai i manager nella loro attuazione;
  • Compilerai, redigerai e predisporrai la documentazione inerente alla sicurezza prevista dalle procedure aziendali e dalla normativa;
  • Redigerai la documentazione necessaria all’esecuzione dei lavori da sottoporre poi a RSPP, OM e PM;
  • Verificherai l'implementazione delle misure di controllo fino al loro completamento, informando di eventuali ritardi o problemi;
  • Vigilerai sul rispetto delle misure di prevenzione e protezione in vigore;
  • Contribuirai all’individuazione dei DPI idonei allo svolgimento delle attività affidate ai lavoratori e ne promuoverai l’uso;
  • Informerai i lavoratori sui rischi del proprio lavoro, sulle regole di gruppo e sulle procedure vigenti, verificandone la corretta applicazione;
  • Verificherai la compliance normativa della documentazione aziendale relativa ai contratti gestiti;
  • Verificherai la compliance normativa della documentazione dei subappaltatori, con particolare riguardo all’idoneità tecnico professionale, in ottemperanza alle procedure interne;
  • Parteciperai alle necessarie consultazioni di aggiornamento e innovazione sulle questioni della salute e della sicurezza sul lavoro ed eventualmente alla riunione periodica;
  • Parteciperai all’analisi di eventi infortunistici o mancati infortuni / HIPO;
  • Collaborerai allo sviluppo di procedure per la sicurezza;
  • Collaborare alla preparazione degli audit ISO 45001 e ad eventuali altri audit interni.

What You Can Expect

As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee utility infrastructure capital projects focused on expanding and maintaining utility systems across the University of Iowa campus. What You’ll Bring

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.

Job Purpose:

To support the department work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for tracking and closing the loop on department's key tasks, including updating the status of key tasks and highlighting risks of overdue tasks.
  2. Organize department meetings and regional review operation meetings, including gathering agenda items, collecting materials for discussions, and summarizing meeting minutes.
  3.
