Job Summary

Responsible for boiler operation and maintenance, to ensure the optimal performance and safety of industrial boilers with expertise in utility equipment like air compressor and chillers, coordinating and executing the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities, at the customer’s sites, of the Utilities plant or Facilities (UPF) and its related Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) machinery equipment and associated systems complying with the statutory, the health-safety-environmental (HSE) requirements.

 

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Conduct first-level troubleshooting in case of boiler or auxiliary equipment breakdown.
  • Contribute to and update data in the meter reading log sheet.
  • Perform chemical analysis to monitor boiler water quality and take immediate action if it deviates from specifications.
  • Operate and maintain the steam boiler to achieve and sustain the required pressure and temperatures.
  • Oversee day-to-day boiler operations and configure it to meet production targets.
  • Maintain good housekeeping (5S) at the boiler's premises and strictly adhere to safety procedures at all times.
  • Initiate, coordinate, control and contribute hands-on for the service quality delivery of the O&M team and/or subcontractors-suppliers service activities executed on the site UPF for:  
  • The daily routine and measure checks, operations activities as well as predictive, preventive maintenance interventions on the UPF, 
  • Any customer complaints, breakdowns, faults & troubleshooting activities on the UPF, 
  • The corrective maintenance interventions work orders and the agreed UPF repair modification or improvement M&E works, 

 

Skills & Experience

  • Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical, Electromechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Competencies Certificates of Grade 1 Boilerman is mandatory
  • Experience over 3 years in field for the coordination and execution of boiler and associated equipment Operation & Maintenance, technical services for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems or utilities systems, with hands on experience in any sectors below.
  • Knowledge about Mechanical & Electrical systems, instrumentation: Air conditioning-ventilation, chilled water, hot water, steam, boilers, heat pumps, compressed air production

What You Can Expect

As the Key Account Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for ENGIE customers, promoting long-term relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience. In this position, you will foster retention by ensuring a smooth customer journey and coordinating day-to-day issues related to ongoing services for ENGIE customers. You will arrange meetings with new customers to onboard and train them on ENGIE systems and processes, handle customer requests related to services and contract questions, and analyze customer inquiries to respond promptly and professionally. Serving as a customer advocate, you will provide feedback to customer relations management and other key internal stakeholders to assist in retention strategies and overall customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will assist with all aspects of contract management, transaction management, invoicing, and other functions to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

 

Your responsibilities will also include attending meetings and delivering yearly reports on customer progress, supporting customer renewal efforts and campaigns, and auditing the Aging Report to work with customers to resolve outstanding invoices older than 90 days. Success in this role requires strong analytical and communication skills to manage customer interactions effectively. You will play a vital role in fostering long-term customer relationships and ensuring that customer service goals are met, contributing to the overall success of ENGIE’s customer retention strategies.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

As our Equipment Operator 3rd Class, at Georgetown University you will be responsible for assisting in the safe, legal, reliable and cost-efficient operation and maintenance of campus utility production and distribution systems of steam, chilled water, condensate, and domestic water. What You’ll Bring

  • You possess a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years training or experience in trade practice of steam engineering.  Must operate intuitively from previous knowledge in troubleshooting gauges and instruments on equipment to bring about satisfactory operation
  • You must have a 3rd Class DC Steam Engineers License
  • You are capable of understanding and operating complex operation of high-pressure steam and chilled water systems which can be operated several ways depending on operational needs
  • You have experience checking chemical analysis of boiler, condensate return, chilled water and condenser water system.  Adjusting chemical treatment to specified ranges established by chemical treatment company
  • You will record and monitor equipment operating conditions and report or adjust as required to maintain safe and efficient operation
  • You know how to review operational manuals, technical manuals and plant procedures
  • You have experience working from drawings and are capable of systematically and logically locating the problem when drawings are not available; as well as analyze plant processes, recommend, and implement improvements

PV Field Technician, Senior

What You Can Expect

Working remotely in the Northeast region, the Senior Photovoltaic (PV) Technician will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of a large number of solar projects.

 

These are smaller scale projects currently the largest is about 5 Megawatts (MW). As the Senior Technician you will be supporting projects and clients throughout the Northeastern United States.  In this region we are split between ground mount units and commercial rooftop units. We do not do residential work. Knowledge of IT and SCADA would be beneficial. You will have gained strong customer service acumen, discussing scheduling of preventative maintenance, problems found and recommending options or requirements to repair or maintain the customers equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work performed at client locations follows client and ENGIE’s required safety protocols. This position will require extensive travel with some overnight stays. Due to the remote nature of some facilities this position requires a valid state issued Driver’s License, and the ability to operate company provided vehicles.

 

Every day you’ll prioritize safety in everything that you do. You will be traveling to client sites, driving your Company provided truck. Servicing both ground arrays (up to 5 MW) owned by municipalities or corporations and smaller rooftop systems at some of your most recognizable retailers. Typical tasks are cleaning and testing panels, troubleshooting inverters, servicing, or updating networking / SCADA hardware/ software. You will be discussing service and upgrade options with the Regional Service Manager, and clients in the field, both on the phone and by completing detailed service reports explaining findings, actions taken and recommendations for future maintenance and upgrades.

 

  • Respond to trouble tickets
  • Develop work scopes for service work orders on repairs issues
  • Perform scheduled annual preventative maintenance services for PV systems
  • Review annual preventative maintenance service reports to identify issues that require corrective action
  • Provide feedback to the Regional Service Manager and plan the corrective action for scope of work
  • Maintain detailed expense records for all service calls including parts costs, tools, mileage, and timekeeping

 

 

What You’ll Bring 

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience root cause analysis and repair of arrays and inverters; you will have learned to abide by and understand the safety requirements of the NEC electrical code, NFPA70 and OSHA 30
  • Developed expertise in PV design, installation, and/or maintenance
  • Troubleshooting experience with PV systems starting with the review of the PV System performance reports and then troubleshooting the underperformance issues as well as outages by troubleshooting arrays, inverters, and networking systems to the root cause
  • Ability applying technical requirements to commissioning, troubleshooting of solar electrical generation systems, and monitoring communication equipment
  • Experience in complying with contract terms as stated by an O&M and/or Performance Guarantee contract; specifically pertaining to the maintenance to be performed on customer sites with respect to customer safety requirements, DOJ Livescan and site access terms and conditions

As our Project Manager, you will work closely with the project development team from a project execution perspective, preparing projects for handoff to a construction PM.   • Track and analyze project-level spend and schedules against approved budget and schedule baselines, addressing any budget or schedule issues and processing changes to ensure accuracy before handover to the construction management team
  • Ensure contractual deadlines are met, required documentation is filed, and provide regular status reports to clients and external parties, including schedule and budget updates prior to handover
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to obtain permits, negotiate and comply with interconnection agreements, and deliver construction and staging drawings; assist installers and contractors by responding to Requests for Information

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Project Management, Engineering or Construction role
  • You have a working knowledge of the NEC code and AC/DC electrical systems design, with experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically solar photovoltaic arrays and/or battery energy storage systems
  • You are physically able to visit and walk renewable energy sites throughout the US for extended periods in hot or cold weather conditions, and you possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary Range: $84,000 – $123,200 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Che cosa farai?

Riporterai al Plant Manager e, in coordinamento con il team della Centrale di Cogenerazione di Gazoldo degli Ippoliti ti occuperai delle attività di manutenzione, gestione e funzionamento della centrale di cogenerazione con motori alternativi a gas, al fine di garantire obiettivi di performance prefissati nonché assicurare presso di essa il rispetto delle norme di sicurezza e ambiente.

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

 

  • La persona verrà inserita nel team di conduzione e manutenzione dell’impianto, in rapporto con il personale di riferimento del cliente e con i fornitori, secondo le disposizioni del Plant Manager.
  • Avvia, regola e controlla l’impianto rispettando i programmi di produzione e le prescrizioni ambientali.
  • Contribuisce alle attività di manutenzione della centrale: partecipa alla ricerca dei guasti e agli interventi di riparazione e di manutenzione programmata.
  • Registra i dati di produzione (contatori EE), controllo in campo e a DCS dei parametri di processo e registrazione su fogli elettronico.
  • Sorveglia le emissioni in atmosfera, degli scarichi idrici e gestisce i rifiuti per quanto di competenza.
  • Collabora a mantiene un ambiente di lavoro salubre e pulito.
  • Controlla le disponibilità presso il magazzino dei ricambi e ne richiede l’approvvigionamento.
  • Contribuisce in qualità di preposto ad assicurare la corretta gestione della sicurezza e salute dei lavoratori, dei visitatori e delle ditte esterne presso la centrale; ha la qualifica di conduttore di generatori di vapore di 2°grado. riveste ai sensi della norma CEI la qualifica di PES (Persona Esperta) o PAV (persona avvertita).
  • Coopera ai piani di formazione interna ed esterna.
