Job Purpose:

The Data Center Facilities HVAC Technician is responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC equipment within the data center is operating at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and Daily visual inspections on major data center equipment.
  • Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s and keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Repair and maintenance work on a wide range of HVAC (DDC, BMS, Control system), Plumbing & ELV equipment.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility Mechanical systems.
  • Maintain, operate all Mechanical/HVAC related systems and associated equipment, Mechanical equipment, building management system.
  • Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.

Skills Required:

• Manage building survey tasks including masonry, glazing, and steels.
• Inspects civil work of buildings (Depot and Stations) steel structures and establish report and make recommendation.
• Liaise with relevant authority and subcontractor and any relevant parties in relation to work whatever the cause (accident, vandalism, weather and maintenance whatever).
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the doors and shutters including PSD at the stations.

Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning debris from sidewalk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.
  • Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Steam-clean or shampoo carpets.

  • Proven record of cleaning and sanitizing washrooms, showers and locker rooms
  • Able to clean all fixtures and furniture safely
  • Profound capability of maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
  • Demonstrated ability of maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
  • In-depth knowledge of modern cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Adept at using chemicals in a safe manner
  • Able to operate janitorial equipment properly and safely
  • Comprehensive knowledge of restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas
  • Substantial knowledge of dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered
  • Well versed in inspecting premise and building
  • Track record of finishing assigned tasks effectively within limited time
