Responsibilities

  • Trusted partner within the assigned client group:
    • Consult, advise, coach and partner with MDs, Directors and managers to understand, plan and implement people’s strategies. Act as advocate for employees
  • Co-leads rollout of HR core processes in alignment with HR CoE’s:
    • Organizational Management
    • Development & Talent Management
    • Performance Management
    • Compensation & Benefits
    • Labour Law
    • Change Management
    • Internal Communication
    • Employee counselling
  • Develop and drive ad-hoc HR-led projects
  • Collaborate in assigned Business-led projects
  • SPOC for HR GBUs and Hub

 

Requirements

  • 10+ experience acting in Sr HRBP / HR Management roles in matrixed multinational, best-class companies.
  • Strong understanding of various HR functions, including talent management, local labour law, compensation and HR systems.
  • Business acumen: demonstrated ability to understand and apply knowledge of the business to achieve company’s goals through people management strategies.
  • Communication Skills: adequate gravitas and influencing skills to interact with business leaders and employees at all levels.
  • Data literacy: ability to use data, metrics and evidence to drive decision-making and change.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, labour relations business administration or related field plus postgraduate studies (preferred MBA).
  • Spanish native speaker plus English C2 level.

We are currently looking for a PROJECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER  for our headquarters in Madrid.

Mission: As project buyer you will be working in an interdisciplinary environment where you establish purchase documents in relation with operations and functional entities. The role implies frequent contact with local and international suppliers. Your position position is a key function to manage the supply chain resilience ensuring the projects portfolio execution in cost and term.

 

Functions

- Respect and ensure H&S company rules, procedures, instructions and applicable legislation, areduly applied and communicated to suppliers.

- Ensure compliance of the purchasing process with ENGIE´s rules, E&C, and CSR requirements.

- Define and execute the project procurement schedule together with project managers ensuring an efficient and effective procurement process.

- Ensure robust RFQ´s processes.

- Negotiate quotations provided by the contractor/vendor in the best interest, using the available techniques, such as market info, reference price, cost model, should cost, target price, statistical info and market index.

- Ensure that every stage of the procurement process (purchase request, RFI, RFQ, qualifications, waivers, negotiation, technical and commercial evaluation, recommendation to award,applicable conditions, purchase order) process are performed correctly

- Ensure together with the expeditor the correct delivery of the order and supplies.

 

Minimum requirements

- Minimal 5 years of professional experience in procurement of major industrial projects like wind and pv power plant, CCGT´s, oil & gas , or similar

- University degree in technical discipline.

Ihr Profil – das sollten Sie mitbringen:

What You Can Expect

Our Industrial Controls Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems (ICS) and related operations technology (OT) network and support systems to ensure corporate objectives of operational efficiency and reliability are met for the Utility Network. This position is located at the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, IA

 

On a daily basis the Industrial Controls Engineer will primarily serve the Meters & Controls (M&C) department but may also provide support to the Campus’s Water Plant, Chilled Water Plant, Power Plants and Distribution systems. They will work with the senior controls and networking engineer and field (E&I) technicians to implement programming and/or repair of ICS and networking/support systems. They will provide review and input to design and construction plans for upgrades or expansions to ensure seamless integration of controls and facilitate the transfer of reliable data to the PI data analytics platform.

 

  • You will be responsible for addressing all tasks and fulfilling all responsibilities with a “safety first” mindset
  • You will be supporting development of controls masterplans to continuously improve and upgrade equipment with technology changes. You will develop, and review approved specifications, drawings, and technical documents for controls projects. You will write control sequence of operations to meet engineering designed specifications
  • You will specify control system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. You will be writing programs and developing graphics for industrial/utility systems that meet engineering designed specifications.  You will be researching, evaluating, and designing controls system and processes to facility specifications, applying knowledge of engineering principles
  •  You’ll be providing technical assistance to field technicians regarding project specific equipment and materials, assisting in the preparation of studies, materials and methods, recommendations, and cost estimates as required.  You will communicate on a regular basis with co-workers on project teams and update supervisors on any ongoing concerns or issues

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Automation & Instrumentation, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field. With four (4) years of experience with industrial or utility control systems

Or

  •  A Bachelor’s of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline, Engineering Technology, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of experience with industrial or utility control systems
  • Our environment consists of Hirschmann industrial networking environments, Rosemont/Emerson instrumentation and controls, virtual server environments such as Nutanix (HCI – hyperconverged infrastructure), Microsoft network management and Windows operating systems, Emerson PACSystems & GE Cimplicity (HMI) controls systems experience in these or similar technology is required
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety principles in an industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of OT/ICS environments, platforms, systems, and applications
  • Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and responsibility
  • Proficient in standard OT/ICS (IEC 61121-3) programming languages and communications protocols
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft operating systems and office applications
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of operating technicians, peers, contractors, and design professionals
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Excellent organizational, supervisory and decision making/critical thinking skills

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis

What You Can Expect

As the IT / Control System Infrastructure Engineer located in Washington, DC you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA software systems used for monitoring and controlling industrial processes.  This role is critical for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of our operations. 

 

The position will also involve creating and maintaining documentation to ensure adherence to  industry standard SCADA software standards and cybersecurity controls, aligning with all levels of the Purdue Security Model. Additionally, the incumbent will be required to comply with all government regulations, including FERC/NERC CIP, as well as guidelines imposed by other governing bodies relevant to the specific plant facility.

 

No two days are the same in this role. As the IT / Control Systems & Infrastructure Engineer, you will be immersed in a dynamic plant environment, working hands-on with plant personnel, including engineers, OT instrumentation technicians, and network engineers, to support and optimize our control and network systems. From developing and implementing SCADA systems to troubleshooting and enhancing OT network infrastructure, you will be at the center of operational excellence.

 

Reporting to the System Operation Director, your primary duties encompass:

 

  • Designing, developing, deploying, and providing ongoing maintenance for SCADA software systems utilized within plant instrumentation and control systems (Example of SCADA application knowledge includes; Rockwell FactoryTalk, Aveva PI, GE iFix & Simplicity)
  • Must be able to support plant personnel with industrial processes, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and final control elements and their interconnection to the specific level of the Perdue model
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including software specifications, user manuals, and system configurations
  • Ability to assist with the installing, configuring, and commissioning instrumentation systems onsite
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SCADA systems, ensuring uptime and reliability
  • Performing troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of SCADA systems and other key OT hardware devices, where applicable
  • Work closely with plant personnel to understand operational needs and provide technical support
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure strict compliance with security standards and protocols
  • Collaborating with other engineering disciplines (such as electrical and mechanical) to integrate instrumentation systems into larger projects
  • Conducting performance testing, calibration, and validation of SCADA systems within the instrumentation and OT environments to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
  • Providing technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams on instrumentation systems, when necessary
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in instrumentation engineering
  • Collaborate with Plant SCADA Instrumentation Technicians, Plant Maintenance personnel, and Regulatory Compliance agencies to establish and implement best practices, as well as company IT and OT standards, for the configuration, security, and maintenance of plant Industrial Control Systems (ICS).

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical field where you have gained an understanding in information technology and plant controlled environments
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in SCADA and IT systems operations.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with Operational Technology (OT)/Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
  • Strong knowledge and experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Windows OS technology,
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technology, specifically VMWare ESXi and Nutanix AHV.
  • Proficiency in OS and application patching capabilities; Ivanti System Operations skill is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in major operating systems, Microsoft Office, virtualization, backup and recovery software, disk backup, and network monitoring software.
  • Proficiency and working knowledge of SCADA system platforms;  Rockwell Factory Talk, Aveva PI, GE iFix & Simplicity

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Provide procurement support to all South African operational entities across a defined set of categories, assets, owners and O&M companies.
  • Implement the defined short and medium term procurement strategy with all concerned departments.

  • Enforce the Group procurement policy and governance when procuring all goods and services.
  • Support the warehouse stock, inventory, ordering, and replenishment process for the entities in the scope.
  • Ensure good relations with suppliers and vendors and build up a vendor database;
  • Support the implementation and roll out of digital tools for procurement such as the ERP system;
