About the Role: 

Working as part of a team of 12, your main purpose will be to achieve an acceptable, managed and mitigated level of exposure within the business to costs and risks associated with commodity and third party charges, that simultaneously provides a competitive price in the market;

  • To recover revenues in line with costs (over time and in value).
  • To provide appropriate level of query management and support to the wider business in respect of Costing & Pricing activity for a catalogue of existing products as well as new propositions for gas/power and upstream/downstream.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate self-generated analysis to senior management
  • Make proposals and recommendations for changes to pricing policy and risk management protocols to senior management and influence their decisions
  • Develop, maintain and improve models for cost and risk exposure analysis, cost forecasting, premium determination and pricing calculations, ensuring pricing friction is kept to target levels.
  • Proactively develop and implement solutions to pricing issues (and regularly analyse to detect new issues) including improving existing systems and processes or developing new.
  • Assist in the definition of pricing policies and methodologies to help ensure a framework that is effectively implemented and operated across the business, including leading the pricing input to product development.
  • Maintenance of pricing related data in relevant systems.
  • Ensure appropriate communication to management and the wider business of issues/solutions, changes and updates.
  • Monitoring the regulatory landscape and assessing the impacts of industry change on pricing methodologies and cost forecasts, acting as subject matter expert for implementation and communication to stakeholders.
  • Support Finance teams with the calculation and provision of Mark to Market reporting for all third party costs as part of the Full Year Forecast, Mid Term Audit and annual Budget.
  • Understanding and management of economic, market and regulatory issues impacting on Pricing.
  • Communicating and contributing to the management and resolution of any issues.
  • Provide information and Key Business Indicator (KBI)/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to allow management of costs and charges, and implement action plans to ensure they are maintained within acceptable parameters.
  • Work with wider business to ensure good stakeholder engagement and customer service as well as identifying issues, communicating them and enabling a resolution.
  • Participate in and support programmes and projects providing role of Subject Matter Expert. Lead smaller business projects to implement new processes / improvements
  • Adherence to and the development of internal processes, policies and risk frameworks.

Purpose of the job

 

ENGIE are recruiting for a Debt Recovery Team Manager to be based in Leeds.  The job holder will be responsible for the management of overdue debt through the disconnections process and internal and external legal process.  This is a hybrid role, working full time Monday to Friday.  On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise the Debt Recovery and Disconnections team including overseeing the warrant and legal process
  • Assisting and sometimes liaising with customers and their representatives in order to expedite the claim process and where possible recover the full outstanding or where appropriate achieve settlement of outstanding debt
  • Work alongside internal legal team on claims over £50k where necessary
  • Approve settlements and write-offs in a timely manner and authorise legal action, write offs and settlements within set delegations
  • Ensuring the Legal tracker and Debt Recovery tickets are maintained and that the team are working within the delegations of authority
  • Manage the full legal process with external solicitors
  • Act as main point of contact for external solicitors’ queries in respect of claims
  • Ensure expenditure related to the external legal process is controlled
  • Validation and sign off of Disconnection and External Legal Costs invoices including process serves and traces in line with DLAs

 

Experience and skills:

 

  • Working knowledge of gas and electricity industry processes across, SME and I&C.
  • Understanding of the customer lifecycle and interdependencies between Credit Control and interfacing departments.
  • Proven ability to organise and produce accurate work to tight deadlines.
  • Highly numerate and awareness of cost recovery.
  • Verbal reasoning skills
  • Microsoft Office proficient.
  • Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Proven record of excellent customer service.
  • Quality and breadth of experience of credit control.

About the role

 

We are recruiting a Anaerobic Digestion Feedstock Manager based  in our plant known Gorst Energy in Exeter. This is a Permanent role, working  37 hours per week.

 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Identify feedstock sources and opportunities.
  • Cultivate leads and track them through to completion.
  • Visit new and existing suppliers and develop / maintain relationships.
  • Organise, plan and schedule feedstock deliveries across the portfolio of sites, ensuring they arrive on time and to expected specification.
  • Sourcing feedstock for disaster recovery purposes
  • Feedstock contract management e.g. negotiations/reviews
  • Feedstock sampling and inspection regimes
  • Maintain a testing and monitoring regime on new and existing feedstock lines.
  • Track feedstock usage and expenditure and report back to site managers and directors
  • Compile feedstock performance data and KPI reporting.
  • Perform regular site visits and build strong working relationships with site managers to understand their site processes and requirements.

  • Investigate and develop a monetarised disposal route if practicable.

A rare opportunity to work for an innovative organisation in the heart of Cheshire, within a small, high-performing Engineering and Maintenance team. The Stublach Site is the largest onshore natural gas storage asset in the UK, with the company having expansion ambitions in new business areas.

Storengy UK are seeking an Electrical Engineer, with a strong operational background within the major accident hazard environment; oil, gas, chemicals, power etc.

Are you an electrical engineering all-rounder? Are you fully up to speed with the regulatory requirements of COMAH, DSEAR, HV and ATEX? Are you used to working within a fast-paced maintenance/engineering team? Do you have a can-do attitude? Do you have Upper Tier COMAH site experience? Are you self-motivated? Do you have a reliability mindset?

If the answer is yes, then we have an exciting opportunity for the right person.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas, or process industries. Preferably in a site based Electrical Engineering role, but open to general electrical experienced Engineers with a willingness to further develop into this role
  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering – essential
  • High Voltage authorisation
  • High level of attention to detail – essential for this role
  • Responsible, proactive and self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude; able to work with a high level of autonomy

About the role

Based in South Petherton, close to Ilminster and half an hour from Taunton, you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Management team and Plant Manager in ensuring the correct and efficient running of our Anaerobic Digestion plant outside of normal working hours. This is a night based role working 48 hours per week working a four on four off shift pattern as agreed with the Plant Manager - 6pm to 6am) including weekends. There will also be the requirement to provide holiday cover for your team when required. You will be based on our gas to grid plant known as Sustainable Energy Generation. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to the company's SCADA system (plant monitoring/control software) identifying and rectifying operational problems.
  • Liaise with the on-call Plant Operators and Plant Manager promptly to ensure any issues are corrected and that there is minimum disruption to the plant and that the plant runs safely and professionally.
  • Liaise with the on-call maintenance team to ensure any maintenance work is logged and carried out in a timely manner.
  • Undertake some minor mechanical maintenance repairs.
  • Weighbridge operations (full training will be given)
  • Log events on the company's database and ensure accurate recording for handover to day staff.
  • Prepare routine performance reports
  • Flexibility is required for covering annual leave and absences of colleagues

To help us to meet both these challenges we have an have opportunities for a Storekeeper  working at Ffestiniog Power Station to join our team.  Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, the role is to be proactively involved in ensuring that all of First Hydro Company assets contained within the Stores locations are accounted to ensure an uninterruptible flow of goods and services to meet the business needs

 

ABOUT YOU

You will hold a minimum of a NVQ level 2 or equivalent and have successfully completed formal training in safety (eg. IOSH Working Safety) As well as formal qualifications and training candidates are also expected to have relevant experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Good IT skills such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • A knowledge of Inventory Management for a large industrial stores e.g.  JIT, Stock Checking etc.
  • A good understanding of the Health, Safety and Environmental legislation applicable to a stores environment.

  • Work closely with Marketing to align on strategic campaigns to deploy within strategic outreach
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all Marketing-Generated Leads (MQLs) and campaign outreach
  • Solicit ongoing Sales feedback regarding meeting quality and opportunity creation potential, mostly in post call debriefs
  • Participate in relevant monthly territory calls between Client Development and Sales
  • Achieve KPIs as directed by the Director, Global Client Development
  • Participate in training and other group wide events as required
  • Collaborate with colleagues and lead internal meetings as required
  • Ensure Salesforce process is adhered to and updated daily with relevant CDE sales data, meeting notes, NDA’s and other client relevant material
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Sales Enablement teams
  • Adhere to an Omni-Channel selling approach, leveraging Account Based Targeting strategies to improve sales velocity
  • Forecast individual sales targets pinpointing areas of improvement and of challenge
  • Develop on-going personal plans in the advancement of sales and account management skills
  • Keep updated with EMEAI Sustainability news and sector challenges. Share these with colleagues in weekly Team meetings

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of successful experience in a revenue-focused Business Development or Sales role, preferably consultative / non-tangible solutions. Energy knowledge is a plus
  • Demonstrated record of exceeding personal KPIs
  • Knowledge and / or experience of digital tools to drive sales productivity (Salesforce, Pardot, 6Sense, Zoominfo, etc.)
  • A true partner within Sales, Marketing, and Senior leadership – demonstrating a growth mindset and eagerness to apply and learn new approaches
  • Ability to maintain focus and on value creation each step of the way
  • Technologically Savvy; understands how to use SaaS applications to drive productivity and translate data into better results
  • Excellent communicator who is focused on building strong relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing and Sales
  • Ability to interpret personal sales data and reports to drive personal efficiency
